    I have heard so many people talk about this place and we had never tried it and it is right on our doorstep too. A rare day off together without the kids and we thought let's go somewhere nice for some brunch. The sun was shining so we were able to sit outside on the deck. Food was delicious. Only waited about 5ish mins for it so very quick service. Will definitely be back.

    Incredibly rude staff, particularly girl with pink hair making coffees, cappuccino with burned milk was rather thrown in front of me, no please, no thank you, no response.

    Really disappointed with the service I received in here this week. One particular member of staff on the counter was very rude and short with me when I was ordering. Her tone and attitude was extremely unprofessional. Then after ordering my friend got her food and had been eating for a while and was nearly finished, but there was still no sign of my food. I went up to the counter and the same member of staff was rude again, no apology for the wait she just asked “what table”. I understand it was very busy, but why wouldn’t you try to bring a tables food out at the same time? I didn’t come to eat alone. I have heard the place has been taken over and it seems to have really gone downhill since. Good customer service goes a long way, and in the past I have always had great service and food in here, but this experience has left me really disappointed. I appreciate it isn’t a Michelin star restaurant, but it’s probably one of the most expensive lunches in the area and I would rather take my business elsewhere where you’re treated with a bit of respect.

    Great Food, meals were lovely on Sat 25th Sep, especially the macaroni cheese. Staff are great, particularly the young staff, which there were a lot of, very well mannered and polite, even if there was something wrong, it was sorted quickly and efficiently. Hats off to them for providing a great service in what seemed like a very busy, stressful work environment.

    I used to be a pretty regular customer but since new management has taken over, it has become much harder to enjoy a visit. The food remains pretty good, but that’s the only positive. Service is now extremely poor - there’s no table service as you order and pay in advance at the counter, canteen-style, but the real issue is the time it takes for food to reach you. Today we arrived (table of 4) at approx 1:20 and were warned of a 45 minute wait for food. After an hour, we had to chase the staff for an update. 3 of our meals were served and then we were told the 4th was no longer available. After an hour of waiting, I think this is totally unacceptable. Overall, I don’t understand what is going wrong - is the menu now too big and too varied for the kitchen to cope? Is there no system or process in place to get through the orders? Does no prep get done before service? Have too many extra tables been squeezed in? By the time we were all eating, new customers were being warned of an hour wait for food, but it was no longer peak lunchtime - so why on earth was the kitchen not catching up with the remaining orders? The table next to us was served as we left, and they were sending back one dish, and having to go to looking for cutlery and missing side dishes. I hate to say it, as this used to be a favourite place to meet friends and family for a quick lunch, but I doubt I’ll go back. Forget fancy domes, redecorating and jazzing up the menu, and focus on getting the basics of service right.

    This restaurant is fantastic. Service is really good along with the food. Been quite a few times and will be back again. Good to go somewhere that is local and not far out.

    Not comfortable flies hovering about so annoying also food definitely not got the fresh taste and tea not served individually didn’t bring milk until we asked we went every 4th week but not be back

    New menu. Had very nice baked potato with chicken. All our group enjoyed their food. Check out the adventure golf too - good chuckle.

    Poor service, diet coke was warm. Served in warm glass, Philly steak wrap lacked chesse and the steak was chewy.

    Probably the worst take away cappuccino I've ever had and they charged me £3.15. Maybe I just got unlucky this time but that was no barista that made that coffee, bit embarrassing tbh

    Baltic inside! Club sandwich used to be class but chicken was cold and dry as if it was days old! Expensive considering they dont even take your order at your table, had to leave my one year old twice to go up and tell them they forgot something! The below response is nonsense, clearly got me mixed up with another customer as my plates werent cleared and no server uttered a word or offered to change anything for me!

    Just a coffee and a scone, however the scones are first class and reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food on the menu is varied and again reasonably priced.

    We came here on a Sunday afternoon for a quick lunch and to be honest we weren't expecting much. How wrong we were. This place was a gem. Each member of staff that either served or welcomed us was very polite, friendly and attentive. The place was busy and yet our food came very quickly and was absolutely delicious and very fresh. We will definetly return.

    Very nice staff and food is usually excellent. You can sit both inside and outside which is good. It is very clean on the inside. They have a good selection on the menus but there could always be more selection. Portions are a very good size and you know you will get what you pay for. I’d definitely recommend!

    Popped in with friends for lunch. Disappointed that soup was 'finished'. Really? At lunchtime! Not impressed. Friends did enjoy their meals, but as I wasn't that hungry & only wanted soup - poor customer service provision 😱
