University hospital Pediatric clinic Child psychiatrist

😠 I was in this clinic from December 2012 to February 2013. I was first taken to the intensive care unit and on the first day I had to strip down to my underwear and was patted down by the nursing staff, and my MP3 player was also searched for "problematic" songs and pictures and videos were searched... People often mention clinic, good, patients, home, wurde, room, ward, therapy, nice, allowed,

I was in this clinic from December 2012 to February 2013. I was first taken to the intensive care unit and on the first day I had to strip down to my underwear and was patted down by the nursing staff, and my MP3 player was also searched for "problematic" songs and pictures and videos were searched and certain images and songs were deleted. The largely self-important and arrogant nursing staff (but there were very good and praiseworthy exceptions!) determined almost everything; from the order in which we ate dinner to the topics we talked about. If you wanted to go home or criticized the measures in the clinic, you were locked in the time-out room for hours; a small room in which there was no bed, nothing to eat or drink and no toilet. If necessary, you were also restrained in the room. The medication I was given made me indifferent and listless and gave me facial dyskinesia, some of which still exist today. The clinic and Professor Romanos are particularly interested in a good external reputation. It doesn't matter how the patients are doing, they are "mentally ill" or "mentally disabled" anyway and therefore people don't believe them.

Extremely unfriendly supervisors. Making fun of the reason you are there (suicide attempt!!) while other patients are there. When you ask them about it, they act like it's okay. They really treat you like shit. They lock you away for as long as you feel bad instead of distracting the patients or doing something with them. I don't understand why the carers chose this profession. (I'm talking about the closed KJP)

8 weeks for the cat! The same initial situation as since the beginning! Now in danger of being transferred! Child was locked in room. Documents about results were not given to me. Doctors have no idea what nursing does and vice versa. Clothes disappeared, wallet kept by the specialist staff, not handed over. Last but not least, the clinic kicked him out. Complaints are consistently ignored by the boss himself. Costs for alternative accommodation will not be covered. Here you can see that the good women R, fr z, fr r, from 2 east, are simply studied, abuse power and voluntarily accept a risk to the child's welfare. Furthermore, despite the withdrawal of the authority, further progress was made, plans were rewritten independently and the legal guardian was not informed. IF YOU LOVE HIS CHILDREN DON'T PUT THEM THERE!!! Not recommendable

We only had the worst experiences with Station II Ost Hoffmann. With very few exceptions, the supervisors at this station were very unfriendly. You really ask yourself why you would take up such a profession when you obviously hate doing it and then take out your own resentment on the young patients. For example, children are ridiculed when they are homesick and cry for their mother. Scream, your mom isn't coming. There are female carers on the ward who enjoy tormenting the children in such situations and clearly have fun doing it. To give just one example. There were no discussions with the treating doctors and psychologists, no advice; instead, as a mother, you were completely ignored. The clinic always involves the youth welfare office. False diagnoses (and reports) are made that you have never heard of before and you wonder how you came up with something like that. Because there were no discussions at all, any assumptions are made by the hair. Unfortunately, these false statements and diagnoses are also sent to the youth welfare office, with whom the clinic exchanges information very closely and in a friendly manner, behind the parents' backs. So you suddenly become an overprotective mother who simultaneously neglects everything and is completely overwhelmed by everything. In addition, the young person in question is short in stature (1.70 tall!). And backward in development. If you say that this is not true at all, you will continue to make false statements. And of course the parents are not believed. On the contrary. Everything is done to appear unbelievable. My son has early childhood autism and mutism and is also chronically ill. He had to go to this clinic a few times because they wanted to practice speaking with him. There was no therapy or anything like that. The only thing they did was put a lot of pressure on my son. He had to speak, otherwise he wouldn't be allowed to talk to me on the phone or have any visitors. No one has ever heard of mutism therapy in this clinic, nor has there been any specialist knowledge about autism. You won't find that on this station. Everything works according to a point scheme. You have to earn the visits and phone calls as a patient. Experience has shown that such pressure therapy does not bring any success in the long term. Objections from parents are ignored. After all, they are experts in this field. Several times I was suddenly and publicly attacked in the ward by aggressive nurses and insulted that it was all my fault when I just wanted to visit my son in the clinic. People are actually blamed for the children's diagnoses and disabilities. My son was removed from his school by the youth welfare office, even though there were no problems. My son was then held in the ward for seven months and was not allowed to go home during this time. That's why he had suicidal thoughts. Because he couldn't stand it in the clinic anymore. He just wanted to go home and go to school. He was in poor physical shape. It was then decided by the clinic and the youth welfare office that my son had to go to a home. That was done four weeks ago. My son was taken to a home in Hesse against his and our will because he was supposedly no longer allowed to live with me. Therefore my urgent warning to all parents of autistic/mutistic children and young people. Never voluntarily give your children to this clinic. You will greatly regret it. Addendum: I agree with Ms. Scheurich's review. I demand a review of my son's treatment and the medical report prepared by Mrs. R. Station II Ost Hoffmann. For the purpose of compensation for pain and suffering.

We absolutely cannot confirm the negative reviews. Our experiences were very positive. Everyone at Station 2 East was very nice to the children, even though there was a lot of hustle and bustle. The doctors and discussions were very positive and helpful. And all you can say about the food is that it was good. I think that some patients in this area say that it wasn't good, especially with an eating disorder. We couldn't find anything negative. After all, it's not a holiday camp but a therapy facility and anyone who has done therapy themselves can say that it's generally not easy. Everything was clean and tidy.

(Translated by Google) A roommate at the time was killed by a supervisor because of her open wounds. She was promised a cuff for her arm, but never got one (even after asking several times) but she was also forbidden to wear one of my cuffs and had to walk around the park with a sweater in midsummer. Personally, I would also say that the place has not had a good effect on my psyche. Lousy supervisors were the main reason. I have already been to this facility twice and unfortunately I have to say that my "roommates" provided better support than the carers, therapists and psychiatrists.

Nice clinic with a spacious exit. Most of the PED were nice too. There were a few that were a bit harsh. Oddly enough, gave everyone raw zucchini 2 days. Therapists were also competent. But the closed one was a disaster. Nurses treated you quite disparagingly and even if you weren't in acute danger, you were treated as if you were going to harm yourself at any moment. Unfortunately, everyone on the ward was only given a group home as the ultimate solution. PEDs often had fairly personal conversations with patients before anyone else and presented their problems as unnecessary.

(Translated by Google) Best clinic so far, professionally and personally, without pressure and without great stress. You can get there very easily from the train station by tram if you come without a car. They treated my child and me very well.

I was on the ward there last year and it didn't help. The ward doctor was really incompetent and told everyone to go to a group home. It was really dirty, especially the rooms and the food was really bad. There were 2 nice nurses but the rest Some of it was really unfriendly. The only good thing was the people in my room who were really nice and with whom I got along very well. And in general, the patients and their wishes were not taken into account. Even outpatient care was one of the best

Unfortunately I can only speak from the intensive care unit: everything was taken away from me and I was only allowed to wear things without Bendel. After the visits I was searched from head to toe and had to strip down to my underwear. I was then locked in a room with nothing more than a bed, two chairs, a table and a surveillance camera. I wasn't allowed to go to the toilet alone either. The supervisors were nice and came straight away if something was wrong. However, I would have liked to have worked with one more. Unfortunately, if you don't communicate with people and take care of their problems, you can't move forward. Otherwise it was actually quite ok. Edit: was there one more time. This time on an open ward. They work decently there. The supervisors are nice and you can make friends with other patients quite quickly. It is very friendly and in most cases you can go home from the second weekend, Saturday to Sunday. You are only accepted and if you have the feeling that a certain therapy is not of any use to you and you would rather try something else, this will be enforced.

There are some good therapists, but unfortunately the doctors are not particularly competent. This was my second time on 2 OST (for 2.5 months) and I didn't achieve 1 of my therapy goals. And then I was discharged because the doctors no longer knew how to help me (thanks). But we try to make the stay as pleasant as possible. There are also some good carers (e.g. Klaus, Rolf, Katrin, Svenja, Nina...). But unfortunately there are also some who make you wonder why they are still allowed to do their job. Basically okay to get starting points but there is still a lot of room for improvement. And I think how nice the stay is also depends largely on the fellow patients.
