I had the falafel & potatoes. The falafel was salty, hard, crumby, & dry. Worse falafel ever! The potatoes were old & dry. Food tasted like it was sitting all day precooked & barely warmed in the microwave. I would give it zero stars if I could. Would never eat here again. Should've realized to not order food when I didn't see a line or fresh food being prepared. There was only 1 man standing at the register.

Excellent customer service. The Koshari bowl had too much vinegar, ask for less vinegar or just on the side. Will come back to try the falafel.

Oh man I don’t know where to start ! I have never had a full on Egyptian meal just bits and pieces and this ties up a meal soooo well. Iman the owner was literally the sweetest person I’ve ever met and you can tell she does all of this out of love. We talked about her starting her business and she told me about her business and the options she offers. This is thee only place I can think of that has actual Egyptian street food. She gives several options to cater to all her customers. Majority of her food is vegan, gluten free and dairy free which in this day and age you need. She asked what I wanted and I told her to surprise me that I trust her judgment. This amazing woman gave me the best bowl in the world ! Bursting with flavor made with care and a new experience worth having. I would recommend her street food to any and everyone. There’s something literally for everyone She of course asked me if I had any allergies before everything I also got a sweet dessert which was a vegan baklava and if you dont like baklava I promise you’ll like this one. My oh my this lady knows what she’s doing. I hope she expands to more places because everyone deserves to eat this delicious food 😍

Finally went here last night and LOVED IT ALL!!! Koshary bowl got me ready to build some pyramids!... and very flavorful... Ck shawarma wrap was great too and of course so were the chunky seasoned potatoes... Oh and I added kofta to the bowl and that was awesome... Who doesn't love fried stuffed things... Ps the large bowl is LARGE... appreciate not being skimped..... Can't wait to try the rest of the menu... Love trying new cuisine... Thanks for the delicious and cool food... ✌️❤️🌱🐱 Update... Beyond kebab wrap is great... SO flavorful... Many many flavors at once... A symphony... Lentil soup and mushroom soup r great too... And those potatoes!!! Garlic dip... I love this place

Can it still be koshary without pasta, cumin or crunchy onions? No tomato sauce either. This must be an American version of the Egyptian street food. Filling and fun-just different than one would expect. Chicken schwarma (which feels like saying beef vegetables) was an excellent chicken dish with a spiced sauce that made it rock!

Amazing bowls and more. I have regularly been getting their Koshary bowl and potato wedges since they opened. They nail the Koshary bowl, everything that goes into it is homemade and the flavors are perfect. I will go and get a regular size bowl which will make two bowls for me. This is a wonderful option to have a healthier, filling, whole foods meal. Beans are incredible for your health & they make it so easy to eat plenty. No adjustments or flavor compromises for us vegans. I order the Koshary bowl as usual, with rice and brown rice or quinoa, then add extra fried onions and my fave sauce combination is the garlic sauce, roasted red pepper, and tahini. Usually add some fava beans and/or falafel. I never leave without a few servings of the potato wedges to last a couple days. They cook them wonderfully and are not fried. Dip it into the garlic sauce and roasted red pepper sauce… amazing. The garlic sauce is extremely versatile and useful for cooking or enjoying other foods too. You can grab a pizza around the corner and dip it in the garlic sauce - highly recommend. Use it for making homemade paninis, quesadillas, use as instant garlic flavor in your soups etc.

This resturant is in a common food court in Clarksville. There are about six there but this one is right by the main entrance. Normally, this would be a great eat outside place but today pre-snow it was carryout. Got the Falafel salad with the avocado lime dressing. Everything was really dekish and the customer service was super good. I'll be back for sure!

Way better than I thought. I love the flavors. They really pop. The texture and filling on the vegan kofta was soooo delicious. A must return.

Such delicious fooooood! We are vegan and got the Egyptian breakfast and every. single. thing was delicious. Wonderfully seasoned, which surprised me because most vegan places have under-seasoned food. Truly a gem at R. House!! And the staff member who helped us, Farmila, was so sweet and personable. Will definitely come back for the food and service. Highly recommend!

I ordered the Egyptian Breakfast to eat at R House. It was served in two boxes, one of which was filled with 8-10 plastic dip cups. It was the most packaging intense and absurd thing I've ever come across. And it's totally unappealing to eat out of an array of little cups. The contents of the cups - the hummus, baba ganoush, beans - we're fine. Pita so so. Falafel hard.

Couldn't believe everything was plant-based, I'm so glad to have a plant-based shawarma option that is not falafel. Everything was so flavorful, and the portions were very generous. Unfortunately they didn't have the beyond kofta kabob in stock when I visited, but the soy-protein chicken shawarma was great!

Amazing portions for the price. I got the full Egyptian breakfast and it did not disappoint. It came with so many delicious sauces and dips. Their falafel is very moist yet crispy on the outside as well, its perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

Very good. I had never had Egyptian food before so I didn't know exactly what to expect but the description sounded good for the koshary bowl. The bowl was great. It's a mix of your choice of rice and quinoa and a bunch of other ingredients like chickpeas and fried onions. I got chicken schwarma in the bowl too. Everything was very flavorful and well seasoned. I would highly recommend checking this place out.

unsanitary! I went there with my partner and they threw up (we barely ate we had to threw the food away) Food is disgusting with spoiled ingredients. I'll keep buying the bowl from the korean place at R house and stay away from Koshary Corner

I had a Local Flavor certificate for $20 Worth Of Egyptian Street Food at Koshary By Misteka - in The Common Kitchen and I went there today to use it before the 9/2/22 expiration date. The woman at the counter told me that Koshary stopped taking the certificates during Covid and that she wouldn’t honor mine. I was disappointed that she wouldn’t even give me anything for driving 40 minutes to Koshary.

Tried Koshary for the first time and it tasted fresh and delicious! They were really helpful and explained all the ingredients. I will be going back to try their falafel salad.

Amazing food! We love the koshary bowls and cupcakes! It is also wonderful to support a woman owned organization that supports local charities!

This is my go to lunch spot. The beyond kabob and falafel wrap are my top two favorites. The roasted potatoes with garlic dip is amazingggg! I’m vegan and there aren’t many vegan places to order from in the area. Really thankful that this place is around!

Absolutely incredible! Iman uses the perfect blend of spices and fresh herbs- each bite is full of flavor. You can feel the love in the food, it feels so homey. I'm already thinking about the next time Im coming back 😏 Pro tip: if you're open, ask her to make the food you ordered the way she would make her own. You'll definitely get some fried or pickled onions (or both 🤤)

Had the vegan chicken shawarma wrap and the impossible kebab bowl when the food truck was at the central library. Their food is really good. The concept is fantastic. The prices are reasonable. The only thing is the packing could be better since the sauce seeped through the bowl and tore the paper bag it was in-minor accident but let’s hope a sustainable answer follows. Also would’ve been great to have some vegan desserts at the food truck.

Consistently delicious and healthy food! Portions are generous, with a regular usually making 2 meals for me.

Title: An Unforgettable Experience at Koshary Corner Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of dining at Koshary Corner, and I must say that it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming ambiance that set the tone for the entire evening. First and foremost, the food at Koshary Corner was absolutely outstanding. As a fan of Egyptian cuisine, I was thrilled to find a restaurant that specializes in koshary, one of my favorite dishes. The flavors were authentic, and every bite transported me back to the streets of Cairo. The koshary itself was a delightful blend of perfectly cooked rice, lentils, pasta, and the most flavorful tomato sauce I have ever tasted. The addition of crispy onions and a tangy vinegar dressing added the perfect finishing touches. Each ingredient was fresh and of the highest quality, and it was evident that a lot of care and attention went into every dish. The menu at Koshary Corner offers a wide range of options to cater to different preferences and dietary needs. Whether you're a vegetarian, vegan, or a meat lover, you'll find something to satisfy your cravings. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, happily answering any questions I had and making recommendations based on my preferences. The service throughout the evening was impeccable. The waitstaff was attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring that my dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. The atmosphere of Koshary Corner is inviting and comfortable, with tasteful decorations that reflect the rich Egyptian culture. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant environment to enjoy a meal. The seating arrangements were well-spaced, allowing for privacy while still maintaining a lively ambiance. Another highlight of my visit to Koshary Corner was the attention to detail. From the beautiful presentation of each dish to the thoughtful touches like complimentary mint tea at the end of the meal, it was clear that the restaurant takes great pride in providing a memorable dining experience. The prices were also reasonable, considering the high quality of the food and the level of service provided. Overall, my experience at Koshary Corner exceeded all expectations. It is a hidden gem that deserves recognition for its exceptional food, warm hospitality, and attention to detail. If you're looking for an authentic Egyptian culinary experience, I highly recommend visiting Koshary Corner. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delicious menu offerings.

2-3 months ago this would have been 5 stars across the board. So good! Unfortunately the last 2 times I’ve been the quality has really dropped. This most recent visit I got the vegan chicken shawarma wrap and the vegan chicken was hard, not hot, I got 3 potatoes, the carrots were thick and barely pickled. The time before was similar except I didn’t get any carrots. My first few experiences were so good it quickly became my fav spot to get dinner so this is really disappointing that it didn’t maintain.
