I went to the Emergency Room & had no luck receiving quality treatment. I hope I never have to go back. I was discharged & my issue wasn’t addressed. In the end, what I needed was an EMERGENCY surgery. Thank God I ended up going to another hospital the second time around, or I wouldn’t be alive. Word of Advice: Don’t RUSH to discharge patients from the Emergency Room. Take the time to actually assess patients. It may help save a life! Some patients NEED to be admitted, not rushed out the door. For the record, I had & still have medical insurance.

I always have a terrible experience here, so to an extent it is my fault for returning. I brought my father in, as he was screaming in agony after doing 250lb dead lifts. It was approximately 1am. RN, KELLY MILLER. In the emergency department was extremely rude, put her hand in my fathers face, and told him “to just leave then”. Because my father was upset and in extreme pain. (My father has had 3+ TBIs and shows cognitive decline, if she spent more than 37 seconds with him before becoming extremely rude- she would’ve noticed the dementia related symptoms *why he was upset and confused*) Completely unprofessional and no regard for patient care. He ended up leaving because he was so upset by the nurses actions. The following day we became aware that he had 3 spinal fracture and 2 torn muscles and tendons. It’s a disgrace as a caregiver she would treat any human like this. I have been an OT in a SNF setting for 2+ years and have had a lot of nasty clients. Never have I ever- or would I ever- treat the elderly like this.

Deplorable experience! I probably receive better accommodations from guantamino bay prison in Cuba. Their treatment is disgusting towards me. The horrible way they talked to me and my wife is completely wrong. Taunting us to excel a fight through the ignorance and sarcastic attitude from the entire staff that I received. I go for multiple issues and they focus on the easiest. What's the point if you're not there to help. RN Kelly was the nurse that was disgusting with her attitude and the doctor had a issue with my primary care provider.. doctor R.Page.

I can't say enough positive things about this office and staff! They all so kind and will welcome you with open arms! Crystal in scheduling is amazing! Lisa in ultrasound is full of nothing but positivity along with Jeanette and Lauren! Dr Frye is amazing too! This team has treated me as family from the moment I walked in the door. I highly recommend

May you NEVER EVER have to depend on this hospital's complete absolute LACK of communication when your elderly loved one has a widow maker heart attack with three stents put in!! Security roughed my elderly father up the day after his heart attack the hospital applied restraints then sedated my father until he was practically comatose. I live out of state and could never get a return call from an attending doctor or nurse caring for him. Two North is particularly bad. They are always busy and will get back to you but somehow never do. I have been in healthcare 20+ years and have never witnessed such complete disrespect for the patient and their family. My elderly father was discharged AMA by his elderly wife who is incapable of caring for my father but is taking a chance due to distrust in this facility and their providers. Thank you so much Cape Canaveral Hospital. I pray you are treated likewise when the situation arises!! You then can experience the anxiety of NO communication about your loved one and then understand what empathy entails. Suzanne York-Krupka

My wife and I brought our 6 year old son in because his pediatrician said he had possible acute appendicitis and said it needed to be looked at immediately. He had a 103° temperature when we first got to the hospital and he didn't get anything for his high temperature UNTIL 6 HOURS LATER!!! The doctor basically guilt tripping my wife and I about possible radiation from the CT scan. I'm sorry if we can't go shopping for a hospital that specializes in pediatrics! They gave him this nasty contrast to drink where he had to drink the whole nasty cup in 2 hours and we got a attitude that he only took 10 sips! I took one sip and it was nasty! Finally we got the good news that it wasn't appendicitis BEFORE the doctor came in with an attitude that we wasted his time! I understand that it's a ER but A LITTLE PROFESSIONAL COURTESY PLEASE!!!! WE ARE NOT COMING BACK TO THIS HOSPITAL EVEN IF IT WAS A EMERGENCY! Sadly, we used to like this hospital years ago. My son has PTSD from this trip to the hospital.

I had an incident in my right knee at Cape Canaveral while visiting the Kennedy Space Center. The first aid team at the Space Center did a great job. They took me safely and quickly to the emergency ward at Health First Canaveral Hospital. Then the problems started. Although I obviously hadn't broken anything, two x-rays were taken with quite a bit of difficulty. Afterwards I was kept waiting for what felt like 2 1/2 hours until I finally got an injection to relieve the pain. After more than 3 hours I was discharged with good wishes. I was charged US$ 718.00 for the whole thing. After my return to Europe, I have been trying to get my medical records for the doctor and my health insurance from Health First for more than three weeks now. All my attempts (with Contact Us on the Internet and by email) have simply not been answered. My personal advice: If you need emergency help in the Cape Canaveral region, try to avoid this hospital!

Went here years ago with bad face swelling / Throat swelling and tooth infection , first time I went to the drs or hospital in a very very long time . The drs didn't even care to look in my mouth they just prescribed me antibiotics and sent me on my way with no actual total of cost provided . I had a discussion with the billing people that I could not afford insurance and was denied for Medicare , they responded with " someone will reach out to you " . At the time I barley made enough to live . Well instead of reaching out to me and giving me an option to make payments I was billed for over $950 to which they sold to a horrible collection agency. The guy is incredibly rude and laughs at you on the phone after I told him I just recently had to pay for my sisters funeral and took in her two kids ... . Now I have a collections on my credit score . The collection agency they sold my debt to has tons of really bad reviews about the harassment and bullying they do to customers from this exact hospital. It's truly sad that a hospital bill can be put on your credit report further affecting your life . I would of had no problem working out a deal with the hospital. Now I will not give the people at advanced collection a single cent because of the way they talk down on you .

Worst hospital I’ve ever been too!!!!! I came there in a ambulance very very sick. My husband was watching the football game and drinking alcohol before I got sick. My husband followed behind the ambulance with a sober driver. This staff knew my husband was intoxicated when he got there and that’s why he had a sober driver with. They told him I would be there over night so my husband and his sober driver left me in the ER. A hour later they decided I was being discharged. A nurse came in and she was poking me in the eyes. She putting the head of the bed straight up and other staff were pulling me out of bed and forcing me to try to walk. I was not able to walk without assistance and was very dizzy lightheaded and out of it. I could hear the staff talking about men and my drunk husband. They were talking about how intoxicated my husband was and then they wanted me to call him for a ride home.I told them I didn’t feel well, my husband wasn’t answering the phone and I had no ride. They got really upset handed me my phone and said call someone! I could hardly see my phone straight and next they were shooting some solution in my iv and I said what is that because it burned and the man said to wake you up! They were very forceful and abusive. The next thing I remember is them pulling me out of the bed put me in a wheel chair cause they knew I couldn’t walk on my own and wheeled me into the waiting room and told the front desk a cab was coming. They should have had me leave with my husband and his driver a hour before when he was there if that is how they were going to treat me.they said I had to stay overnight cause my blood pressure was to low. I’m a RN in Wisconsin and new to this area and my hospital would never tolerate this abuse. I would never abuse my client in this way or treat anyone so unkind and inhumane. It’s a good thing my husband didn’t pick me up cause he didn’t answer the phone or I could have been sent home with a very intoxicated driver and they knew he was and kept telling me to call him for a ride! I fell very bad from trying to walk to my house after getting dropped off from a cab. I should have got stitches but I wasn’t going back there. I’m very disappointed with this place. I would like to press charges this was total abuse and a lack of empathy by the ER team. It’s very 😞 sad

The nurses and doctors were ok, the entrance was not clearly marked which is super weird for an ER. We were on vacation & I brought my toddlers in for a rash. 2 years later and the billing department still can’t figure out how to bill for the appointment for 1 kid (but they managed to bill for the other one? Same insurance for both kids). Its unreal. We still have the same insurance, it hasn’t changed since they were born and the insurance says they haven’t received any claims. No idea what they’re doing down there, but so glad I never have to go there again.

Friendly, caring staff and excellent facilities. One of the most beautiful hospitals in America. The recovery rooms have views of the water with pelicans and dolphins playing.

This hospital sucks. The security guy was rude and touchy, the front desk clerks were unhelpful. You think a well established hospital would take the time to weed out all the idiots. I remember my first day at work. Please fire them all and start new. Worst staff ive ever encountered. Not to mention one of the front desk employees was taking a personal phone call while i was waiting to be helped.

Came here for a hyper extended elbow months back, was sent 2 bills I could barely afford, and sent in a financial help application and received NO help not only from the application but from the employees, nobody told me anything about anything and kinda just left me on my own. Every time I called to figure it out only a robot answers the phone, the staff here are unhelpful and those I talked to in person were either rude or just blank as if they had no soul. Hospitals are a scam for ur money

Had a urgent visit to the ER. After experiencing what I was sure was a heart attack (I'm 26) after being seen and placed on a IV I had x-rays, blood work the whole shebang. Then Justin my doctor came in and explained I had my first panic attack. I'm still trying to process what happend but the doctor and the multiple nurses I had in and out of the room were so nice and friendly. Really helped keeping conversation going so I could take my mind off what happened. The bill is sure to come sure, but hey, I'm happy I went when I did and got treated the way I did. Amazing staff. Amazing everyone. Thank you all so much for helping me calm my nerves and treating me so well.

This refers only to the ER, as that is my only experience. The staff were efficient, the nurses and doctor kind and helpful, willing to take the time to explain everything and answer questions. We were very impressed. One note: if you have the chance bring warm clothes, they keep it very chilly in there.

I live in Brevard and had what I thought was a heart attack. EMT took me to Cape Canaveral Hospital and I can’t say enough good things about them. I stayed one night and all the staff from every position in the hospital were so kind and wonderful. I truly never had a better experience regarding medical care in my life. These people are amazing and the place is extremely well run.

DONT EVER BRING YOUR KIDS TO THIS EMERGENCY ROOM. I took my 11 month old here because it’s Saturday and his doctors is closed. He has not been able to keep anything down since 3 am this morning. After waiting an hour to be seen by the nurse she tells me “he looks fine right now we have to discharge and move people around so it will be a little bit” then after I go back to the waiting room the next 3 people that went to check in with the nurse went back immediately. I guess an infant throwing everything up isn’t important in their eyes since my son didn’t look deathly ill to the nurse. Worst experience ever.

Had the misfortune, in the past two years, of knowing someone that was a patient on three different occasions at this hospital. Situated on the water with plenty of parking. What a beautiful view the patients have while recovering, water views and right across from Cape Canaveral launch pad. The staff are very cordial and professional, always willing to assist you in your needs, whether you’re a patient or guest. The Doctors and nurses keep family well informed of patients condition. Only reason I don’t give them a 5 star rating, is that their kitchen must have changed hands, not offering guest meals any longer, and sorry to say, the taste of the food changed and not for the better, not bad, just not as good, but I will give them credit for offering a nice selection of alternate meals if the patients do not care for the main course being offered. I would definitely be a patient of theirs if the need should ever arise. Until that time comes, be safe and good health to all.

My aunt was terminally ill and was admitted into the hospital. We live in the Tampa area and the nurses and drs let us know what was going on at all times with my aunt. When our family got there the whole hospital staff from security, nurses, drs, etc.. were so caring and attentive to us. They went above what they had to do, to help make things a little easier in this difficult time. The staff was so caring. Our family is grateful for everything they helped us with.

What a great hospital and staff. Whether I'm going for lab work, x-rays, ultrasounds etc. Everyone is so friendly and kind. I'm never stressed when I walk in. I know I'm in good hands. A special thank you to Lindsay who did my x-rays today. My husband said the ER has a great staff also.

Everyone working in that building is an absolute pro! We live in Titusville and made the trip because it's worth it. My wife has some serious health issues and the care she receives at this hospital is second to none. This hospital is a true asset to the North end of Brevard County.

I honestly didn't know where to start with this review. Because it honestly goes all over the place. I went to E.R. I was very happy with my nurses and my doctor's. I just love Malia she's someone you want on your side. I was admitted for the 3rd time here because of an ongoing issue and no health insurance but that didn't stop them from doing what needed to be done. Now apon being admitted things got a lil hectic from there. But I still had wonderful staff and doctors but they are so understaffed that it takes awhile to get things you need. My nurse Brea and Judith I think that was her name and my cnas unfortunately I can't remember all there names but cat and her partner Naomi were fantastic. I was in for two days my doctor who released me was great and very informative but my nurse who was on shift that morning no name needed. She must of been having a bad day took her almost 3 hours to discharge me was rude apon doing it and then decided to be nice I walked myself out. But with all that said I really loved my nurses my doctor only wish they weren't so understaffed.

I recently made a trip to CCH emergency room. My experience was 5 star from the moment I walked in the door. Everyone from the security guy, the receptionist, triage rn, the lab tech, and the X-ray tech was very sweet and caring. The real rock stars though were my nurse Shane, my PA Hall (I hope I have her name correct) and Dr. Walker. They were concerned yet reassuring, and most importantly they got me feeling better and out of there fairly quickly. While they did testing that was necessary, they didn’t keep me around and do a bunch of extra labs or anything to run up my bill. I was very impressed by my whole experience there.

Went in with Afib, although I had to stay 3 days for monitoring, the staff made my stay great. Nurses, Alexa Ann and Danielle were great. Dr Faris was a great help explaining things. Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Krampert was very thorough going over my treatment. Thank you!!

I brought my husband here after getting in an accident in his one wheel that left him with a dislocated wrist with some breaks and two broken ribs. He had some x-rays done and a ct scan. The dr and nurse reset his wrist and wrapped it in a splint and stressed to him he needed to see an orthopedic. The orthopedic they recommended him to looked at his X-rays and told him he needed to see a hand specialist. He got an appointment with one and he was in shock that the hospital had the obligation to fix my husbands AT THE HOSPITAL but didn’t. So now my husband has to wait to get a surgery that should have happened the same night we went to the hospital. The hand specialist seemed pretty upset about this and wanted to know who the Dr was that saw my husband. And I’m not to happy either and neither is my husband. While the staff was very pleasant I’m afraid they weren’t very thorough. Not a very good experience. It’s sad that people we depend on with our lives and our health and well being can’t provide the proper care.

Check in super fast and efficient. Nurse Marie was gentle and caring with my daughter. A++ service. I am formally of a health complex management staff.

First time visiting CCH, all staff were wonderful. However, the surgical waiting room had to have been the worst I've ever been in. Small doesn't even begin to describe it. Sitting in one position in a straight back chair for hours literally made me sick. Arthritic back and hips, no matter how many times I Walked the hallways, didn't help. Nowhere to put your feet up even for a few minutes. Room was small and filled with people. Bathroom was also located within this small room making any bit of privacy non-existent. As if the room weren't small enough, they also placed a reception desk. The attendant was only there in the morning. She left a big sign saying "please answer the phone". There was a water cooler but that's it and being that the room was so small, you had no choice but to get to know the others seeing as you were basically sitting on top of each other. Whoever is responsible ought to be ashamed of themselves to have given so little thought to those who have to wait there for hours. I'd like to sit them in that room for 3-4 hours, what a miserable wait. The very least they could have done was knock down a wall and combine 2 rooms to provide breathing space. DO NOT expect the comforts of Viera hospital!! Nor any other for that fact. CCH sure missed the mark in caring for the family of their patients, geeze Louise. Consider yourself warned.

My father was taken here due to a medical emergency. The staff took the upmost care of him by giving him dignity, around the clock care, and most of all respect not only for him but our family. The nurses were very informative and the emergency surgeon was very professional. The peaceful scenery gave me serenity in the midst of the worst time of my life, from the beautiful ocean and palm trees, to the playful dolphins and docile manatees sporadically scattered around the shore. I will forever be thankful to the people who cared for my father in his last days on earth.
