Bought from them a couple of times, went to go see what they would give me for my old Xbox. The clerk was immediately standoffish “I’m not buying that” stating that they must have cords and controllers which I completely understand however the immediate attitude I got as soon as a walked up was uncalled for.

D hooked me up with a silver coin. Good place to pick some stuff up. He even cleaned up the coins and got them looking brand new.

Only have ever had this problem at this pawn shop.. but I have called up to this place MULTIPLE times stating the things I have that i would like to pawn. I always include the name of the brand and if it was used or not. I always get told “yeah bring it in we can look at it” but then as soon as I walk in the door stating the same thing I did over the phone they decide to tell me “oh we don’t take that brand”.. you couldn’t have said that over the phone? Like come on now.. stop being a waste of people times and just tell them over the phone if they call.

I’m new to town and this is by far my favorite pawn shop. I have tried a few other pawn shops out but they don’t compare to godfathers. Also the man in the gun section is very helpful. He’s x military and he can answer any question you have. They are definitely worth checking out to buy or sell to.

I'm a coin collector and came in with a few old notes (paper money) from the 30s and 50s. The gentleman that helped me was very honest and said he'd have to give face value or less for them. They weren't worth much. I knew they weren't. I just didn't want to circulate them when another collector could buy them and appreciate them. He pointed me to a place that might give me a little more than face value or less. I appreciate that.

I highly recommend this shop Gene and D were great they helped me find exactly the TV I needed and at a great price. I'll definitely be back to get a PS5!

In the past, I've only been to a pawnshop to look at the jewelry or tools with my husband. That changed this year when I ran into a little financial problems due to the covid deluge wiping out my 3 ALF businesses. Anyway I couldn't have found a better place. They've always given me a fair price for what I brought in and if I forget the right dates to pick up or re-up anything I had in there they would call me and remind me. That's pretty cool compared to the stories I've heard about other businesses who would definitely keep the gold Anyway, thanks for being there.

D was an amazing help yesterday as I shopped for a new piece of jewelry. He was full of knowledge and patience with me and helped me select the perfect ring. I got it looked at today for insurance and everything D told me about the piece was correct, totally authentic and beautiful. I got a very good deal on it and I will absolutely be back again to shop at Godfather Pawn!
