My immediate thoughts of the place from check in to the room was - "this is ancient" Check in was manual, it had been a long time I saw such! The rooms were 'vintage okay' and passably clean for its standard, the staff were quite personable and some accommodating in their duties; they were helpful in making sure for instance that food orders were gotten right - we had some hilarious moments when some non French speakers tried to place food order. The food was acceptable.

The hotel is well decorated with a very small but nice swimming pool in the center of the compound. Unfortunately the master suite that I took was in bad shape, the Internet was of poor quality and very unstable and yet the price was very high compared to the service. I believe other rooms less expensive should be better deals.
