I love the aesthetics! Art revolves around the entire place. All kinds of art. I can imagine what working from the bar would be like. It was an all-round positive experience for me and I enjoyed the food. Staff members are friendly and courteous too! Can’t wait to bring my friends!

You can have a quiet coffee on the first floor, listen to live piano recital in the back (man I enjoyed that) and enjoy a full dinner next to the outdoor kitchen on the roof! A bit run down place, but a very interesting concept. This venue houses a restaurant, an art gallery, a chocolate shop and a bar. Throughout the building one can admire several Ivorian objects, such as masks and instruments. (I was told that this place belonged to a former Ivory Coast ambassador who collected the pieces and one day decided to exhibit them.) The restaurant is on the rooftop and, as most of it is not protected from the rain, when it does rain, it turns out to be a bit chaotic to sit guests in the available tables. The food took a while to arrive, but waiting time was compensated by the delicious Poulet Gnamakou (African/Ivorian-style chicken) and the Terrine de Gingenbre (Ginger paste with aubergine tempura). The vegetarian Tagliatelle de Legumes (vegetable tagliatelle) was good, but not memorable. Background music was just loud enough to hear it, but not to interfere with conversation.

Café Bushman is a mix of beautiful cacao museum with art and a amazing rooftop restaurant. The place is so cozy with all the trees and the little pool. When you get there the first thing they do, is serve you a have shot of cacao made from the land. You can also taste the chocolate made from the same plantations. Then at the restaurant you ask for the chicken gnamakou or soukouya chevreau, you enjoy it. And to end the visit, you need to try the passion fruit panna cotta 😀.

Bushman is one of the most beautiful places İ have visited so far in Abidjan - The atmosphere is amazing - the cultural and colorful decorations are amazing and takes you to another mood to enjoy the places and definitely take good pictures in every corner. İt is unique, hiding place but very nice and enlightened when you enter. The welcome was amazing at the door, however, the service is a bit disappointing especially that they took a long time to bring the food and the drinks( almost 1hour). Other than this, all was good, and would recommend visiting it by night for dinner - to avoid the heat in the day time since it an open air space. İ highly recommend visiting it and enjoy the diversity in the place.

It is an outdoor sitting setting on the roof top. They serve Barbeque’s and lovely drinks and cocktails. I liked the African vibe the whole place exuded. The music was great I had to get up and dance for a while. There are arts on display for purchase and appreciation. It felt like a meshing/converging of different African cultures in one place. It is a place I would definitely visit when next I am in Abidjan.
