    May 2023 I'm traveling for work and this is the closet Planet fitness to my hotel. I find everything I need, no complaints. The machines and weights are just fine. The people that work here super nice The gym is clean (I have been in many PF around the World and trust me...this gym is just fine)

    Traveling and stopped at this Planet Fitness, had to be the worst I've ever seen as far as dirtiness. Extremely old machines, on the weight plates the rubbers falling off and you have to wash your hands because the rubber just gets stuck to your finger, also the rubbers deteriorating on some of the machines, and there's lots of rust on the machines. I do not recommend this Planet Fitness unless you're absolute last resort. When I walked in the lady in the front counter was on her cell phone and it took all of her strength just to acknowledge me. About an hour after being there one lady was walking around sweeping up some leaves but it was a very superficial cleaning. This place isn't desperate need of new management to straighten it out, people shouldn't be sitting around doing nothing.

    The gym itself is phenomenal. We enjoyed going there for years and would recommend it to anyone regardless of their fitness level. The staff was always friendly and helpful and the facility is kept extremely clean. My only issue is this: We've recently relocated to an area where the nearest PF is an hour away (sad) and failed to cancel our membership before moving. When calling to cancel I was told I had to walk in - regardless of the fact that I now live 12 hours away - or send a certified letter like it's 1975. I really wish these gyms wouldn't make cancellation so difficult, but it is what it is I guess.

    First, I only gave 1 star because NO STARS is NOT a an option. This planet fitness is pathetic and disgusting. The staff is rude, lazy and evasive. My husband is a disabled veteran who has fought for this country for 33 years. He requires a handicapped shower stall when we work out. We have voiced on several occasions in person that the handicapped stall be repaired to properly function which it has not. We have called to speak to the manager and the front desk staff was very rude and condescending. I asked for the employees name that I was speaking to on the phone and he told me he’s not giving me his name and that I can contact the manager. The manager obviously is never there and has not managed the facility at all. There is mold in the stalls. The handicapped stall does not have the bracket to mount the shower head. It has been 7 months with this run-a-round. The staff are great at being on their phones. They have ZERO customer service skills and nothing has been cleaned or repaired. The equipment is dirty and many items have not been repaired. Do yourself a favor and find another gym.

    The gym is alright and the staff is quite nice with the exception of Lashandra Penn. She was EXTREMELY RUDE and raised her voice louder than would be appropriate for a customer service/representative to do so. I personally think she should not be representing this this gym or any other company. Her customer service skills are very poor and ought to do a job that requires no interaction with the public. She doesn't have the manners nor the patience.

    I enjoy working out due to the 24 hours that the Gym is open. I have trouble sleeping, so when I am unable to sleep, I head out to the Gym. After my workout, I can get a few hours of sleep and then I am able to go to work. Another reason, everybody wipes down their machines at Planet Fitness. The Gym is extremely clean. I have been to several gyms, and the major of the members, do not whip down the machines.

    I’ve been going to Planet Fitness for years, experiencing many all over the country for work… This is hands down The Best location for many reasons!! Always super clean with such a friendly positive and helpful staff thanks to John, the Manager, who is always beyond welcoming!! In fact, my BF has been going to LA fitness for years and he insists on wanting to come with me to my gym, Planet Fitness, instead 💪🏼 💪🏼 Much Love PF!! 💗💗

    Horrible management place is dirty bathrooms smell like sewer. Lady Shone in front was very rude(needs to be fired) for better management. The two times I went there she made it hell to check in after me and my husband both have memberships. I am planning on taking my business to another gym. I left very upset and didn’t get to workout for the second time … needs better management and she needs to go!

    I recently visited this location for the first time and I was rather impressed. The gym itself is clean and of course I got there at peak time which was about 8ish, so there were quite a few people there but no wait. I'm considering whether or not I should upgrade my membership to workout at this location whenever I'm on that side of town.

    I back up the reviews about rude staff. There is one girl that works the front desk. I am guessing in her late 20’s , black young lady, wears glasses, not fat, maybe 5”2. I see her Sunday’s, around 6 pm. Extremely rude, with an attitude I never experienced at LA fitness as a member. She went off on me about downloading the APP. Not going to lie, I yelled back at her. I asked why is the gym forcing this rule I’ve never heard anything like this at any gym? She rudely told me “ I don’t have to answer that”. I asked who is the manager. She replied not here, here tomorrow. I asked what is the managers name. She replied “ I am not going to tell you”. If it was not for the tanning beds, I would go back to LA fitness. I am reading complaints about this young lady. Please fire her. This is a gym to get stress released. Not come into stressful environment. I want to update my review. Well , I called upper management on this matter. They fixed the bad issues. It took me a few weeks to go back to this location. I was nervous, and uncomfortable. I am very impressed how they improved the facility. The manager was very professional, and accommodating. He gave me a new card pass. He was really super sweet. I believe they hired a new staff. I am very happy with the new staff. Very friendly, and helpful. I also love the new equipment, and how clean they keep the facility. The manager makes sure everything is in order. A hiccup in the beginning, but it all worked out. I am now happy going to this location. Keep up the good work guys.

    Staff is unhelpful, including the quotes “I don’t have to answer your questions” and “I don’t have to tell you my name”. Gym is dirty, the dumbbell racks are empty and mismatched. The rules are selectively enforced and all constructive criticism is take personally. This employee in general is the main offender, but this isn’t the first or second or 5th bad experience. The managers are unreachable and their contact goes to the main gym line. Emails go unanswered and the staff actively treats me with hostility now. All want to do is train, I am not a Karen and complaining brings me no joy. I will try to complain through the normal channels, but the employees didn’t even offer me on the normal managers contact until I mentioned corporate, and they all of a sudden they scrambled to suddenly be helpful. I didn’t curse or raise my voice, and one employee tried to gaslight me into saying I did, until I questioned it. Attached is the “nameless” employee but not the only one I had an issue with.

    The girl at the front desk this morning 10/22/23 at 7:45 am has the biggest attitude problem. I understand you are young and you don’t want to be here but as you are getting paid to deal with customers, you should learn to be nice and not have a problem when we ask a question about something.. you shouldn’t even be working if you can’t deal with customers.

    One of the better locations. Seems bigger and equipment is newer and place is clean. Great customer service. Spoke to this guy Steven for a long time About his journey regarding fitness and you really don’t get that and a lot of the corporate clubs nowadays.

    Not overcrowded. Plenty of elbow room. Fantastic assortment of machines to workout every muscle group . The lounge area is really nice and projects a spa vibe. I love using the Hydromassage Bed and the total body red light recovery pod for a speedy recovery. The facility is clean and the staff is super polite and helpful. Perfect combination for a fantastic workout.

    Used to be cleaner, better maintained. Too many kids and adults just sitting on their phones. Staff needs to say something they don't want get involved. Also they used to say no larger gym bags, gallon jugs, muscle tanks or dropping, leaving weights. Now they ignore their own rules. Weights and paper towels on the floor. Needs better management.

    I was a member of planet fitness for 10 years. Today I walked in with crocs on (closed toe) and was told by a rude, snide manager looked like she was 13... that I had to leave. I told her I wasn't aware of this new rule as I have worn them for a year there. She said it didn't matter and I had to leave. Horrible feeling to be dismissed like that. I told her I'd be canceling my membership she didn't care lol. Oh well. This location is currently messed up. The locker room has been under construction for at least 6 months, the lockers outside are all half broken. The kid staff is crazy alot of them don't say hello or goodbye and act like they are being bothered when you need something or have a question. I hope they return it back to good management not kids running it! ******The trainers there are cool though always make you feel welcome! I'll def miss that one dude always says hello to everyone!! He's a great asset and should literally run that place. Great dude!!******** I cancelled membership today :(

    Bathrooms are always dirty and smells terrible. Today there is no toilet paper in none of the stalls in the mens bathroom I had to ask the Key Foods supermarket next door to use their bathroom. If the cleaning conditions don't improve quickly I would like to cancel my membership.

    I’ve been attending this gym for 9 years and it continues to get worse. Tonight while getting a massage, I encountered an unwanted guest! Also, I don’t see any HMIS stickers or pictograms on the cleaning solution for the equipment, I think this violates several health codes. Lastly, the tanning equipment has many burnt out bulbs, why even offer this service to black card members? I would recommend the PF in Coral Springs!

    First time at this planet fitness in coconut creek and it was a nice experience. The staff is pleasant 😁 and the workout equipment was available when needed. The only con was the ladies locker room. Needed to be more clean 🫧

    I came to this location to open an account for my daughter after being denied help at the Coral Spring location. The staff was super friendly! I was able to sign up my daughter in less than 5 minutes! Very clean and well maintain. Thank you to the team for being so helpful!

    The coconut creek planet fitness is the absolute best planet fitness location. The staff is unbelievably kind and attentive. They go above and beyond in keep the facility clean. Always cleaning the equipment, bathrooms and floors. The weights are always put away. Tanning rooms and massage beds are in working order. And always kept clean and sanitized. Rob always greets everyone with a smile and remembers their names. It’s a very welcoming place to go. And encourages me to workout with its positive environment.

    I would highly recommend the black card it's an upgrade in membership I like the Hillsboro gym because they're 24 hours 7 days a week, in the area for the Black Card members where you can get a body massage sitting in a massage chair or a tuning booth is set up for relaxation they have like blue lights and beautiful Spiritual music playing in the background. It's also very nicely decorated to instill Serenity in one's mind.

    I never post negative reviews , but... I've been a member for 2 yrs, went to the front desk to get my entire family memberships (4 more) and the lady (Lashandra) was so rude to me and my wife that I am canceling my membership instead. She had an attitude from the second I walked in . Absolutely unprofessional and with no manors. It's sad because it's so close to our home ... I'll go to LA Fitness, I am sure they WANT my business there.

    I would just like to give a shout out to Melissa and Lauryn for always being on top of it. Normally I come to this location Wednesdays around I wanna say 5 p.m. and the gentlemen at the counter is not the greatest with costumer service nor do I ever really see him cleaning. This week I decided to come in on a Tuesday and these two girls really made my day when they welcomed me with a smile and I saw them keeping up with the facility. Keep up the good work!

    Hey I recommend coming to planet fitness. They have great workout equipment and wonderful staff. Mr. Mason at the front counter is a very cool guy and very helpful. He helped me with my membership and explained everything to me and it wasn't a bother for him. He has good patience and very understanding.

    Shon at the front desk at Planet Fitness in Coconut Creek (hillsboro blvd) is very rude. It doesn't serve people well. I don't know what you're doing here, you should look for a job that doesn't involve customer service. I was treated badly by her the 2 times I came to this gym. The first time I gave up training and went back home and this is the second time I try and I'm treated badly again. Seriously thinking about switching gyms because of this employee. I don't want to be mistreated every time I go to the gym, since Planeta's motto is “where you can always count on being respected, accepted, supported and celebrated”. I'm very disappointed.

    Always a positive experience at this location. All I see are folks looking to improve their health & stay fit (myself included) - NO jocko-muscle meathead attitude at this location, primarily the reason why I come, not to mention there is ALWAYS a workout machine available!     I went into this location to tan today and it makes me never want to go to a planet fitness again. To be fair, I don't think any branch I've been in to tan cleans that well but this was beyond unacceptable. The floors hadn't been cleaned in months and were disgusting and filled with garbage, lint and dirt. I had to kill 2 cockroaches in broad daylight. I took pictures and asked to speak with a manager because someone needed to take responsibility and clean this up. She could have cared less!!! Absolutely should not be in charge. There is not a place to add my pictures. Consider yourselves lucky to not see what I did. .

    Upon entering the club I was greeted by 2 cheerful and upbeat young men by the name of Mason P. and Mason M. Right away I explained that I was looking to sign up today and we proceeded to get right down to business. They made the sign up process effortless and painless. Mason exudes the upbeat and helpful attitude that unfortunately is lacking from today's sales staff and customer service. I would recommend to make both Masons manager or an assistant manager of the store if I were the owner of this club.

    I joined Planet Fitness after the JCC gym closed in Boca. After a two day trial I've become a regular. The place is enormous with tons of equipment. The staff is friendly and some of the people who work out there are also friendly.

    Was charged over $98 dollars over 14 days. I called another location at first and they told me ahead of time to go to my club because she knew ahead of time I was going to get overcharged. They lady told me please to call them so they could fix it. So I did and my club representative made me bring in 2 bank statements showing the charges. I paid a 41.73 dollar annual fee a 41.74 dollar monthly and late fee and then another 15 dollar fee. All through a 2 week period. I call back weeks later to get an update and instead of understanding and agreeing I've been overcharged they kept trying to justify the situation and told me I need to bring in 2 more bank statements because they manager never saw the note in the computer. I went in and they beat around the bush and try to just shoo you away. I wasnt going to waste my time printing 2 more bank statements showing the charges and bringing that back in as i already did that. Terrible customer service from the manager Christine. As well as the employee Shon working that day too. She told me i stopped the payment and just sat there shaking her head "if you didnt stop the payment". I didnt even stop any payments and it has nothing to do with the fact im being overcharged. Theres no help from from corporate so i have no choice but to go through the club. Going to change my club.

    One of my favorite locations. The facilities are clean, the free weights are always racked after use so you're not searching around for the right dumbbell. Staff is friendly, especially Nadine, she always makes sure to go out of her way to say hello and see if I need anything!
