Stayed for a couple of nights and really enjoyed it! The staff is very friendly and helpful! Swimming pool area and gym are nice too! The only downside is the old type of air-conditioning control, which was difficult to adjust as we wanted and old shower without a door which leads to the water all around the bathroom including the toilet. Definitely requires some renovation even though the from itself is nice and spacious.

Great hotel reception’s customer service. Great location, you can almost walk to most place in the city. There are 2 Double Tree right next to each other at the esplanade. The one we stayed in is 122 esplanade was a renovated motel. It’s has been updated but it’s still looks like a motel. The swimming pool is tiny and the facilities are not up to the normal Hilton standard. The bright side is we can use the facilities in the hotel next door. I would probably prefer to stay at 116 next time.

Lots of small things add up to the best hotel stay. The staff are amazing, our room was immaculate and the bed so comfortable. Great breakfast choice and the restaurant food is 10 out of 10. Thanks for making our honeymoon stay perfect

My hotel of choice when staying in Darwin, you can’t beat the outlook from the harbour view rooms, service is usually good, the pool is a little cool as it’s in the shade but who wants to be in the sun in Darwin’s heat anyway. The rooms are always clean, the only improvement could be the carpet which is starting to look a bit dirty and worn in high traffic places. Breakfast is pretty standard hotel type buffet if I have time I rather go to a local cafe but if I don’t have time it is fine.

We stayed in this hotel for a 4 nights in the end of July during Darwin Cup. Overall experience was good, very friendly and very helpful staff at reception, good breakfast, great size room and it was nice to have a balcony. Bathroom was new and had a very good lighting. Perfect location. The only problem was an old sagging mattresses. It was terribly uncomfortable to sleep on and we asked to swap them, but it made no difference. They are all old and saggy. This Hotel needs a bit of refreshing, but nothing major. It is a bit expensive for what you get, but still a better option than a DoubleTree hotel next door.

We stayed at the Hilton last week and had a fantastic time. The staff were super helpful especially Danny the concierge who went above and beyond a number of times to help us out after our flights were cancelled. Great service form everyone. Highly recommend!

Worst hotel experience of my life. Firstly they forgot a bed in our room then said there was nothing they could do about it. After 30mins of arguing we get a trundle bed in the room. We didn’t have power to our room and had electricians and staff coming in and out of our room for 3 hours often without knocking until 9pm. They said the issue was fixed however we still had no power. The next day they moved us to a cheaper room with the only compensation being one free breakfast which was pathetic. Our stay was booked for 9 months in advance and disappointed is an understatement. Would not recommend.

Great hotel close to city with great views of the Harbour. Clean and comfortable rooms well appointed. Pleasant bar/restaurant/pool. Friendly staff who look after you well. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely one night stay in a top floor room with views of the esplanade. Room was large, comfy bed and all the extra little things that make a hotel experience special - free bottle of water, small treat on arrival...love a robe and slippers 😄. Sunset view was amazing! The only disappointing thing was the in-room dining - quality was not great especially for the price you pay. Otherwise a lovely hotel with friendly service oh and the buffet breakfast is pretty damn good 👌

Spent a couple of nights here with a recent work trip to Darwin, really enjoyed the stay! Room was well equipped and comfortable. AC did a great job of moderating the Darwin heat! There was also a fabulous pool for cooling off in the evening. One great feature of this hotel is the location to the park and water directly across the road. It’s perfect for an early morning / evening exercise walk! I included a few photos of the park and also sunrise / sunset as well. Great restaurants are also within 5 minutes drive as well. All in all a great location and experience.

Definitely not a 4 Star or a real Hilton... more like a 1or 2 Star. There's two DoubleTree side by side. This seems to be to charge Hilton prices and give less than Hilton quality to unsuspecting customers not familiar with a real Hilton hotel. Seems this hotel was initially some other lesser brand that was bought and the Hilton name slapped on the front to charge Hilton price for budget decor rooms. Decor is late 90s early 2000s. Cheap furniture kept from the original lower brand this bldg used to be. Mattress is springy and lumpy with some pad put on top that is no help. Worn out velour material sitting chair and futon showing age and bottoming out when you sit on it. Fake leather office chair is cracking. Small screen TV and no USB charging ports. You can hear people having normal conversation in the room next door. There's signs room has been patched and painted in some spots. Probably time for new carpets for sure. View is nice. AC works and good water pressure. Balcony door opens so it's nice to be able to stand on the patio. Waterfront and park is across the street. Overall the real feel is more of a budget hotel just trying to maximize revenue using the Hilton name and nothing else. Most probably for the price, the Novotel down the road is a better deal. Also, some of the local brands just one street over and closer to the City Center is a better value in terms of getting a room same as this Doubletree but save 20-30%.

I was undergoing through miscarriage and I was in severe pain. We reached the hotel at 1:30 pm directly from the airport. Staff refused to give the room until 3 PM as the check in time was at 3 PM. We sat in the restaurant and spent time till 2:50 PM. I was going through severe pain. I went back to reception and requested to give me the room as the check in time was in 10 mins. They still refused to give the keys even after mentioning to them that it is a medical emergency. They gave the keys to us at exactly 3 PM. I highly do not recommend this place and the staff is really not helpful.

Always a great place to stay by the esplanade. Great hospitality by all staff. Have been coming here for last 10 years and always feel comfortable. Poolside restaurant serves fresh grilled barramundi most times. Jeh from North coogee

Best of all is the customer service. I caught Anjana but not the other receptionist. Both were delightful and pleasant. Anjana in particular was helpful in resolving our bedding issues. Thank you

Great location and friendly staff. Rooms are big enough and have nice lighting. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and the meal arrived on time.
