The real letdown of this place is the pool - photos online are ridiculously enhanced. Reality is a pool squashed between the carpark and the road. It’s very enclosed, cold and uninviting with horrible acoustics. Location of apartments is fine for a 10-15 minute walk to the action of Mitchell St. Rooms are nice enough though ageing a little with really inconveniently placed power points down the back of the bed. Totally acceptable Darwin accommodation in an expensive accommodation market but moderate your expectations a little.

We stayed at Argus Apartments for four nights in August and couldn’t be more complimentary of the staff. Every request, they were happy to help with, from unblocking sinkholes to sticky tape for parcels, and ordering taxis for us. They really were 5 out of 5 stars.

Comfortable and spacious apartments. Well cleaned. Good location. All staff very friendly and welcoming. Special mention to Melody who helped us with organizing some excellent tours. Only downside, the pool is a bit cold and a little bit out of the way on the side and could do with some jazzing up.

Although there were some amazing employees who prioritised customer service, There was a lady working night shifts who constantly degraded us because we were a small group of young adults. - We were left waiting outside in the rain at early hours of the night, after she had seen us waiting - We had to go to the reception to simply be able to get in and out of our apartment, which should’ve had 24 hour access. - She was constantly locking the guest entrance and elevator after seeing us leave, as well as disabling our room key. Finally, she had let herself into our apartment without knocking twice - which not only made us extremely uncomfortable but violates Australia’s consumer laws. I’d also like to point out we’d read over and were in complete compliance of the venues policies, whilst these said policies were enforced on us before the written and previously stated time frames. Overall this treatment felt directed based on our age and while the facilities were great and many staff were lovely - this was ultimately overshadowed by her passive and abrasive treatment of us.

Cool amazing rooftop apartment overlooking the east with a sweet Spanish or Mexican architecturally influenced but sadly not directed as such. Over the road from Chung Wah Terrace which is such a sacred place of peace, and an offcut from the Bodhi Tree Buddha sat under, has grown into the amazing Bodhi Tree that majestically and proudly stands like a warrior of light 🕯️ within a concrete jungle .... that admittedly is still pretty sweet.

I stayed at Argus hotel. Was great they could offer me to stay at the apartments as my flight in evening. Great space area to sit, relax, eat lunch, wait till ready to go to airport. Or close to CBD. They called taxi for me. Fabulous service. 👍

Without a doubt five stars from us. We had the best stay here. Huge veranda with a big table three bedroom but had booked 1 bed so was Supa happy as my partner snores and I get insomnia 😆 Modern great furnishings and well decked out. A few minutes from the centre but Darwin is small anyway upu can pretty much walk anywhere. The heat is not a humid heat in the dry season so it's good to walk round. Woolworths is about 8 minutes walking. You can hire scooters that are dotted around but always some outside hotel Use your phone to scan and use etc. Easy to ride and I'm 52. Pool was bloody cd as it doesn't get much sun except for morning. Your better off going to Darwin waterfront in the enclosed "beach". Got some walking machines and bikes and rowers Basic but good tp have. Taxi cost 35 from Airport. No food at apartments but a vending machine. Great kitchen though very well done. Microwave ect. I personally don't think Darwin had great food compared to Sydney but a few places I found. Rays patisserie and fiddlers green also Chow last two on the waterfront. Fiddlers green good steak the rest meh. About 10 max walk to the waterfront and downhill. The mist spacious place I've ever stayed in so enjoy.....

Rooms were great, staff were friendly. Location was convenient with being able to walk around the main streets of Darwin. Found the rooms to be good with being sound proof Basement parking is a bit tight Cooking facilities in apartment are good quality Argus Apartments and Argus Hotel are different so be careful of that when booking Review edited: There was confusion over being able to see another bedroom from our balcony which lead me to believe we were sharing a balcony. Upon discussion with Argus some apartments are three bedroom, when you book a 2 bedroom apartment they lock off the third bedroom. Bonus points to Argus' customer service for their patience in assistance with this concern

We stayed for 6 nights in May 2023. Great apartment spacious and clean. Had minor problems but they were fixed quickly. Central to city and Stokes wharf. Face tissues place mats would be the only improvement. Would recommend.

We recently stayed at the Argus apartments recently on two separate occasions and found the staff very friendly and helpful, the apartment was very clean with heaps of room and located on the fringe of the CBD which made access to the central CBD an easy short walk. Secure vehicle parking is available onsite at $9 per day.

This is an excellent choice for independent travellers. The apartment was large and well furnished and equipped. The beds were comfortable. The ensuite walk-in shower was great but the main bathroom had a shower in a bath which was not so great. The staff were outstanding and provided great service

Expect the unexpected when you stay here, but in a good way! Although you may be apprehensive when viewing the small-ish reception from outside, you will be pleasantly surprised at the quality of service inside Argus. All employees are super welcoming and helpful, and provide top-tier customer service! We were so lucky to be upgraded from a 2 bedroom executive suite, to a 3 bedroom penthouse suite. The room was extremely spacious, and gave us many opportunities to gaze out the balcony, admiring the night and mountain views of Darwin. There were so many facilities and amenities provided, such as an air-conditioner in almost every room, to ensure your stay would be as comfortable as possible. In fact, the decor and paintings give the room a display room feel. An extra bonus is the location of Argus Apartments. It is close enough (short walk away) to the nightlife and bustle of Darwin, but also distant enough to ensure a quiet night's sleep. If you ever in need for a spacious room with an outback touch during your visit, you should consider staying at Argus!

We had a 2br with 2 full baths, a great, fully equipped kitchen, a huge balcony with seating for 6 and a view of the harbor. Only a few minutes walk to the city center.

3 Bed apartment, huge, very clean and tidy. Pool and BBQ area very good.

We have had an absolutely fantastic stay. Our apartment is a 3/4 bedroom absolutely huge. Only thing going against it is the pool. But overall on this stay 10/10 for comfort/ privacy and location

The apartment was extremely spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we were most grateful for the early check-in, and luggage storage on our departure day. Conveniently located...easy walking distance to the mall, waterfront, cafes and supermarkets. Would certainly stay again!

Staff are absolutley fantastic. We just checked out of a 2 Bedroom/2 Bathroom Apartment that was huge. So spacious with full amenities!! Had some issues with noise that the Night Manager (Joseph I believe) handled super effeciently! The housekeeping staff and day staff have been wonderful. Allowing me to pay off my accom in advance has been a god send! We will 100% stay again!

Fantastic location, great apartment (we're on ground floor with a, huge court yard). We reported a small leak in our tap and the maintenance was there within 10 minutes to replace it. Gym needs a look at, as the equipment (multi functional system) is missing some pads etc. Pool is nice and clean and maintained.

Lovely apartment (Delux)with 3 bedtooms, used only two. Fully equip with everything you may need. Tea and coffee, toaster, stove and oven. Laundry with washer and dryer. Outside balcony with table and chairs. Plenty of eating spots around and walking distance to main shops.

Stayed there for 3 nights. Great place, very clean. Friendly staff. We got free upgrade to bigger suite with balcony and ocean view. Underground multilevel car park a little bit narrow to turn for big cars so they let us to stay on the top ground level. Thanks!

Had a great apartment biggest and best I have ever stayed in location was a little way from things but there were plenty of scooters etc

Previously stayed and loved it. Wanted to return. On the eve of my return my mother became very ill. I rang to inform them of cancellation and they advised no refund, even with the extenuating circumstances. While I am sitting in palliative care in the hospital at my mothers bedside, they ring to leave a voicemail to say I haven't provided them proof so there will be no refund. Disgusting behaviour - I know their policy is clear, but talk about extenuating circumstances, with very little humanity or discretion shown. Avoid.

Very spacious apartment with full facilities. Some issues with appliances not functioning and water leaks but overall very comfortable and conveniently located.

A great apartment complex in central Darwin. The team at Argus apartments are very welcoming and keen to assist guests with any property need. They are also extremely helpful with local advice on whatever a guest might be looking for. I would be very happy to return on a future stay.

The apartment tower is well located, with both mall and Darwin waterfront restaurants in easy walking distance. Our apartment was clean, modern, and spacious with great harbour views. We would like to thank the staff, whom we found to be polite and very helpful in offering late checkout and baggage storage until our evening flight. Look forward to booking their next time.
