We walked from the Coeur de Lane Golf Resort on the bike trail. It’s two miles and a beautiful walk along the water. The food was excellent. Lots of thoughtful touches to keep the service moving in a very busy location. Like carafes with pop refills and coffee pots for refills on the table. Everything was well prepared and the view is stunning

The best little café there is! We drive 40 minutes just so we can eat here. Amazing staff and beautiful views! Don't miss out!

This is a popular place and now I see why! Food is great. I had the hay stack and my husband a skillet. It gets busy so get there when they open! Coffee was excellent. Service is above expectations for being so busy. Staff was very kind even as packed as it was, and I think that says a lot about a business. We are not from the area and we will likely make this a return breakfast location next time we’re visiting!

After reading the reviews about this place I was excited to go check it out for my birthday lunch with my son. First I'll say that the staff are nice, friendly and the atmosphere is great. Nice location right on the river give stunning views. Prices are reasonable as well. Now for the bad..service was below standard. Waiter wasn't on top of his game. My silverware was dirty, spoon had stuck on food. My drink glass was dirty, had some brown something on the outer rim of the glass. The food was bland, no seasoning, I got the tri-tip sandwich, tri-tip was over cooked, and sandwich was just dry and tasteless. Salad was ok at best, small portion and runny blue cheese dressing. The only saving grace was the waffle fries. They were crispy and tasted great. My son got the eggs and bacon with pancakes. O'Brian potatoes were bland. No seasoning, scrambled eggs just tasted like they were premixed no flavor and the pancakes were nothing special. In my opinion this place has got a lot of potential but standards and food quality need to be higher for an establishment of this type and location. Gordon Ramsey would have had a field day here. Just sayin. On a side note the floor manager did give me new silverware and a new drink. Gonna give this place another shot in the summer when I can enjoy the outside patio area on the river. Hopefully my next review will be a good one.

Great place to have breakfast or brunch at. Beautiful view if you sit at the patio. I would say sitting at the patio and that view is 80% of why I would choose this place to come back again. They validate your parking for 3 hours when you enter so make sure to have your plate number handy 😉.

Great place to go sit eat and look at the lake. The service was spot on the Bloody Mary's were good. Highly recommend the stuffed French toast and or the Chicken fried steak 😋. We were in visiting from MN and looking forward to coming back.

The restaurant is located right on the river, so outside seating on a brilliant day was a hot commodity. It was luscious outside and I was praying the meal I ordered would accompany the weather perfectly. I had ordered the special but that wasn’t what arrived. The waitress offered to return it and replace it with the order that I wanted, but I politely declined. I received the chili relleno crepes. They were artistically displayed waiting for my mouth to taste them. They were light, creamy and quite delicious. The service was ok, they were busy, but there were no checkins or asking if anything else was needed, just food delivery, a faint apology for an incorrect order. Even so, I’d likely give them another shot.

Overall, I was fairly underwhelmed with Le Peep. I was quite interested to go, being it had so many good reviews, but unfortunately it didn’t meet the hype. While the wait time was to be expected, over Labor Day weekend; service did not meet any level of appropriate standard. We were sat, in a reasonable amount of time, but after sitting we were not greeted by anyone. After while the manager, or perhaps a food runner, stopped by to get coffee/drink orders. With the Coffee bar being a unique touch for a cafe/diner, I ordered the coffee drink I posted. It took nearly 20 minutes to get a coffee. In that time, a gal who (maybe) was our server approached the table and said, “what do you want”, in a not so friendly or welcoming tone. No good morning, or hi welcome, just that question. I always try to make lite of stuff like that, but I’ve been a server and bartender and just can’t imagine what possesses someone to be that way toward a customer. We ordered, the food was prompt but lacked flavor and presentation. The food, was the best part of the visit, but still sub par. Maybe it was an off day, but since I travel for a living and review all sorts of restaurants, I’ll unlikely go back. Hopefully they focus on more customer centric service, a menu review, and expedite their coffee bar service.

Their menu is awesome, and they even have a separate gluten-free menu if you ask for it. Service was very friendly but it was very busy so....food was overall good.

Food was delish!!!!! Ordered a bottle of champagne for mimosas... Mark up was more than double but other than that the food is 100% worth it. The view is just an added extra! Also, one of the few places that got my basted easy eggs, perfect!

Best breakfast in CDA. Lobster Benedict, fresh squeezed mimosa and the gooey buns - Well worth the wait. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve been here several times, and this place consistently delivers on the food quality, while failing on the overall experience: -there’s always a wait to be seated, even when the tables are 50% occupied -today, we were texted that our table was ready…only to be sent to chairs and wait for another stretch, until I asked the front staff if we had been forgotten about and then were seated within 5 minutes. -it takes on average 45 minutes to get your food once you order it. The wait staff are personable and attentive, but the overall experience is consistent enough that I won’t be back.

Le Peep is in an excellent location if you enjoy the green views of the Spokane river area. Sit on the patio if it's not too windy. The menu is a mix of new meets old skool meets millennial and gen z catnip. If this is your culinary delight you'll feel right at home as there really is something for everyone and it's all pretty good. Did somebody say Peasant Potatoes?! The dining room space is a little odd almost L shaped so ask for a spot closer to the patio if you don't want to feel like, rather, if you don't want to dine in a busy walkway. Our server and service was lackluster at best. Not all of the staff were this worthless however so I won't hold it against them for this bad hire. Or maybe it was a bad morning for this guy. If you're hemming and hawing to dine here just go already. The food won't disappoint.

Oh my goodness! I swear this place has probably the best pancakes I've ever had. It's so fluffy and soft that it melted straight in my mouth. My husband and I visited Idaho from Washington for a 2 day trip. First day we went here for breakfast, I had the salmon scrambled eggs (shown in photo). I loved the food so much that we came back the next day for breakfast again. Everything was good. My husband loved his order as well (farmer's breakfast). Overall experience was great! The restaurant is overlooking the lake, service was amazing, everybody was nice. You do have to write down your plate number once you come in to validate your 2 hour parking. Great experience. And amazing food! We will definitely come back again! 😊

Fantastic breakfast outside on the deck. Great spot to watch the boats go by. Out flight home was delayed allowing us the opportunity to visit for a late breakfast. Best delayed flight ever! The location, service and view make it worth the visit. Staff without exception were pleasant, professional and attentive. There was a bit of a wait for a table outside. As a result we ended up cutting it a little close on time. We let our server know and he did a great job serving us quickly without making us feel rushed. I enjoyed a skillet. Flavors were rich without being over seasoned. The eggs on to were perfectly cooked. Others in our party were very pleased with the Eggs Benedict

What a beautiful location & excellent food! We could have stayed for a long time, just to enjoy the view!

As a breakfast/brunch over-enthusiast, this place never lets me down. Their specialty coffee is awesome, their brunch food is *chef's kiss*. They have options for gluten-free and/or dairy free that actually taste good (surprise). Only drawback is the million hour wait for a table on the weekends. Summertime is lovely if you want to eat outside and watch the river.

Great little restaurant for your brunch needs. On a nice day opt to sit on the patio, the view is beautiful! Even inside though, you won't be disappointed. The food was delicious, & the service was wonderful. I got the avocado toast (which is technically a starter) but paired with their cheesy potatoes made an excellent breakfast. Sampled a little of their french toast as well & can say that you can't go wrong with that either!

I had visited this location previously and sat at the counter. Food was good, not great, but my server was great. Decided to come back and sit on the patio. Waited a while and finally got taken to my table. There was a table about 3 feet away by the water and I asked if I could sit there. The guy seating me said no, then goes in and seats another party at the table I requested not even 30 seconds later. Then I waited for half an hour and my server never even came out. 1/5 will never be back.

My family and I enjoy eating at Le Peep! There is a gluten free menu available. The service is friendly and the wait most days is under 5 minutes. If you want to eat there on weekends I would recommend calling ahead for the wait-list or arriving upon opening. Weekends are usually longer wait times. The seating is either indoors or outdoors with a fantastic view of the river!

Can't believe this was my first time going here! I highly recommend if you want an awesome breakfast. The wait was a little long, but that is to expected for breakfast on a weekend. They did let us call ahead which was very nice to get on the wait list. The view and location is awesome. Our server was okay, not great but not bad. The food was awesome! The sausage was so good and the eggs were as well. The cinnamon roll was great. The entire breakfast was good. The only downfall was at the end we got rang up by an older woman who did not even look at my husband or interact. Seemed like she was having a bad day and overwhelmed but not a reason to treat a customer so unimportant and rudely. Other than this it would've been 5 star. Still, we will definitely be back.

Very nice place to get breakfast or lunch at. It’s right on the river with beautiful outdoor seating. We went on a Sunday and the wait was very long! However, it wasn’t that bad to wait because we walked up and down the river. The views there are stunning! The food was okay, just typical breakfast and lunch food, nothing particularly special.

This has been my favorite breakfast place for years! My sister and I always go here for our birthdays and the view outside is the best. The owner is always very friendly and checks every table and really makes you feel welcome! He has always remembered my sister and I when we come in and welcome us each time! They also offer Gluten free menu and dairy free milk options!

Great service great food and great location. We had a party of 15 including multiple generations and kids from our of town we had not seen in a while. They fit us in with. A minimum wait time. We sat outside and fully enjoyed it. Very professional staff. Quick service even with our size of party. We had one hiccup that was promptly taken care of. Could not be happier. Highly recommend this eatery.

Fun little breakfast place. There is a longer wait if you want to sit outside by the river. It took us a while to get seated even after they told us our table was ready. Breakfast was what you would expect from somewhere like Denny’s. Nothing overly unique or good from what we tried.

  • 5/5 Stevie B. 10 months ago on Google
Oh my gosh, the Gluten-free menu is HUGE! I am so grateful!!! Had the Harvest Eggs Benedict and it was absolutely delicious! Our server Molly was the absolute sweetest!!! Beautiful view because we had a table on the patio. Can't wait to come back next time I visit!

Eat outside. I had a positive experience dining at this restaurant. The service provided by the staff was commendable, despite them being relatively young and less experienced. They were attentive, friendly, and eager to assist. As for the food, it was enjoyable, although I wouldn't describe it as extraordinary or groundbreaking. The dishes were well-prepared, tasty, and satisfying, but they didn't leave a lasting impression. Overall, if you're looking for a place with attentive service and decent food, this restaurant is worth considering.
