Our first visit to Elmer's and what a great surprise. Wide variety of menu items and was hard to choose. Service was excellent and so was the breakfast. One of us had the chicken fried steak the other one had farmers omelet. Both were hot a good. Can't wait to go back. The biscuits are light and very good.

Great food! Great staff! A little wait but sooo very worth it!

We are traveling through and picked this place based on Yelp reviews. It did not disappoint. Everything is obviously made from scratch, which is hard to find these days. The coffee tastes very good. The German pancake is thinner than expected and tastes very good. We could only eat half of it. The sausage is mediocre. The vegetable omelet had less veggies than I’d hoped, and the zucchini chunks were fairly raw. The hash browns are excellent and chunkier than the frozen stuff. The ham and cheese omelet is large and tasty and includes lots of ham. The pancakes are delicious. The ranch breakfast was also good. The server was prompt and friendly.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was great. So many choices it was difficult to decide. We ended up ordering the Crabmeat Eggs Benedict w fruit, Clam Chowder and the Crabmeat BLT Salad. All great choices. Looking forward to going back to try one of the many other selections they have to offer.

Come here with my in-laws and always have decent food and always great service!

Had a Daddy, Daughter dinner there tonight. The food was good, not great. I had the Crispy chicken salad it was huge and good. My daughter had sourdough pancakes eggs and bacon, she was very happy with her meal, it also was a very large portion. What I didn't see on the menu was senior portions, which is what they really need with lower prices for smaller senior meals. What really really made this a great dining experience was the service. Grace A was prompt, courteous and a great personality, truly a credit to the Elmer team.

All their food is yummy. I like their crepes and mimosas!

Elmer's is a humble little spot. Some might even say a bit generic. They are also very consistent, always friendly, well priced and the portions are great. The food is exactly what you're thinking it is when you order and we always enjoy our dining there.

Elmer's has become my and my boyfriend's go-to breakfast spot in town. They have the most kind staff, some super yummy food, and great prices. My favorites are the German Pancake, their Eggs Benny's, and their coffee! I really enjoy their whole atmosphere, as you see a lot of family's come here and enjoy breakfast together. If you like classic, American breakfast foods, definitely give Elmer's a try.

The parking lot was full and we thought for sure the wait would be long. When I asked they said about 10 min, we sat outside on a bench by a fountain. It wasn't long till the got us seated, and although it was crazy busy the staff was pleasant. My daughter and I both ordered the Oregon trail Steak and eggs. Our food came quicky and it was delicious. When we were leaving I asked about near by fishing spots, and one of the hostesses was more than happy to tell us about one of her favorite spot and gave us directions. Great food friendly staff, we will definitely be going back and I will be recommending it others.

Amazing place....you don't need Leavenworth you just need Elmer's

Food and atmoshere, might be good. We were a large party, called ahead, and a large party came in and was seated before ours. Management was less than sympathetic. We left. (Edited 5/23/2023 to add). Management reached out and offered to make it up to us. We had a frank and understanding conversation via telephone. Looking forward to visiting the restaurant again, someday.

The food is always top notch here and the service is normally above par. It wasn't terrible on our last visit but our server seemed to be distracted and disappeared more than once. We were there mid afternoon on a Friday and perhaps she was preoccupied with finishing side work for the end of her shift or preparing for the dinner crowd to come as it was not at all busy. Excellent corned beef. I highly recommend the Reuben sandwich.

Best German pancake! Server was great and fun to talk with. Good family style eats. Reminds me of a bobs big boy type of place!

Melissa was amazing! She was very attentive and gave us great options to choose from! My loaded hashbrowns and lingonberry crêpes were divine!!! Even the other girls checked on us!!! We will definitely be back!!! #ElmersRocks

Sundays are by far the busiest, but the staff was incredible! The waiter was very patient and the food was very well prepared. The price of the food, was worth the quality! Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was very much so family friendly! Thanks for the awesome experience!

best local breakfast I've had in a long time. excellent service from Sarah! my chicken fried steak was surprisingly good and mom's strawberry waffle looked really good with huge strawberries. definitely recommend.

We were in town and stayed at the Quality Inn right next door to your restaurant, very convenient so we stopped in for dinner! The atmosphere was great as was the service along with food, returned the next day for lunch! Once again the service was fantastic, our waiter (Elmer) Roman was very personal and his service was fantastic as was our meal! Overall our visit to your Restaurant was FANTASTIC! Keep up the great job that that your staff is doing, I credit this to excellent management! I myself spent 35 years in food service, most being at Sizzler Steakhouse! In my years of experience I discovered that if you have great working management skills, your staff will follow! Keep up the amazing job that you and your staff are are giving! GREAT JOB! Perfect! We are always warmly greeted and escorted to our booth. Every waitress has been the model of decorum. Never had a bad meal. Try to have breakfast there once a week. Our place of choice!

Great Breakfast place!! Right near the freeway and costco gas. We had a lovely waitress and staff were all professionals. The food was delicious. I had the Crab benedict w/ sauce on the side. Real crab! Eggs cooked perfectly, great coffee! Bathroom was spotless for all those who want to know. Must visit

Even though it was a busy Sunday morning, we were seated right away, and had wonderful service from our waiter. The food was excellent; I had the triple berry french toast, and my significant other had the Ranch Breakfast. All in all, definitely would come back next time we’re in CDA!

The trip was just what we needed. The chicken fried steak with eggs was nice and crispy and had a nice sausage gravy. The "Dutch baby" pancake with fruit was huge with a great flavor. Finally the flat iron Steak and eggs was cooked perfectly and had a great season to it. You can get full breakfast, lunch or even dinner options all day.

The service was great! Our waitress was great "Love for all eternity" tattoo is awesome. Really surprised the food was not that good. My wife and son liked the chicken fried steak. I had 3 eggs, bacon and hash browns but the hash browns must have been cooked in strange oil... They looked amazing but flavor was strange... Like cooked in oil from the deep frier

1. Food was extremely bland. Mediocre..AT BEST. 2. Waitress had a huge black eye 3. The guy sitting in the next booth was having an extremely LOUD conversation about how to smell a couch and its cushions as well as the PROCESS OF EMBALMING DEAD PEOPLE. Will not be going back. Food was no wh3re near good enough to be in that environment

Nice food, waitress good service, should be in my Garmin, found out they've been in business 6 years! Garmin obviously dragging their feet! I had the fish 🐟 and chips 😁!

They had a Bible study there and I had strawberry crepes. I had never had crepes before and I was very impressed with how tender and sweet they were. They did a great job and they were very courteous and friendly

Great service. small portions and the pancakes are the size of your palm . For 13 dollars you would think that you would be getting a beefy sized pancake but it's very tiny. I guess it is what it is. But I was left wanting .

I really enjoyed my breakfast here for 2 days straight with my husband. Its my first time as well and my only regret is not knowing this place sooner. I absolutely loved the chicken fried steak and eggs. Everything was cooked perfectly and all the flavor was of proportion. I cannot wait to come back here next time! Its insanely good and the servers that assisted us were very kind and hospitable. I forgot their names but they really did a good job.
