Food was amazing.. butter naan was so soft and mushroom masala was even tastier.. chilli fish was very yummy that even a vegetarian would not know that he/she is having a fish..

We had a non-vegetarian lunch at this restaurant. We ordered biryani, parotta, fish curry meals, and chili chicken. The taste exceeded our expectations, and the service and ambiance were excellent. The only issue was parking; we had to park on the roadside only. If you're craving spicy non-vegetarian food, this restaurant is a great choice.

Though the restaurant has a good ambience etc., the food quality that we had was terrible. Moreover, the attitude of the employees there was too pathetic as they serve the food at their convenience and coolly say it takes a minimum of 20 minutes !!!! The Manager of the restaurant who was on duty on the 19th Aug 2022 (day shift) was like a HULK with a LOUDER TONE showing some ATTITUDE and was certainly not concerned about Servicing the Customers. Won't try again .....

First time went here... Had prawns varutha curry... It was tastier than expected.. Served within few minutes with normal spicy with reasonable hot.. Paid rs 235 but in swiggy it is rs 331... Remember plain white rice is rs60... They charged even for water rs 20... Overall nice place for family non veg hunters, get together as lot of tables available in clean and wonderful atmosphere... Wash and Rest room 💯% clean... Service re excellent... Fish lovers not suitable... Rasam taste superb... Need to try elaneer payasam which is rs60...

On a saturday, we waited for more than 20 mins to get a table when there were nearly 5 tables that were free. When we were given a table to eat, they told us that meals were not available. At least they could have informed it to us while we were waiting. Pathetic customer service. Also, I wonder why people were thronging into this restaurant which doesn't even care for their customers. Bad parking facilities, even the prices were also high.

Authentic South Indian non vegetarian restaurant.. Bun Porotta is amazingly soft and comes quite close to how it was described in "Vikram Veda" movie.. Very good ambience and regulated air conditioning..Cost is high but reasonable. Worth a try with family and friends..

Hi all , I ordered food for lunch today (24th dec 2023) but I'm really disappointed with the quality and quantity of the food rather than going and eating directly...... And one thing is that it costs little more than going and eating directly to the hotel (too bad experience) I really feeling very bad for that the chicken lolly Pop I ordered was very black (it was well charred)

I visited many times, main disadvantage is, (1)they never serve the dish within a reasonble time duration, we have to repeatedly remind them, even searching upto kitchen occurs at times, 2) Briyani is tastier is very good one not much spicier though they used to provide very small piece of meat and meal volume is small, we need to order to order two numbers in the place of one briyani for an average person to eat, 3) As far as to me, I nver order wet non veg items as a side dish, since it hardly to find pieces of meat, better to order dry dishes where we could find atleast a few, they are very careful leaving the meat items by limiting the volume 4) during weak ends we couldn hardly find place for parking 5) because it's placed over main road as raodside hotels that too in between crowded traffic, 6) staffs very treating kindly 7) price not high but it's ok for week end visit for middle class people, 8) for vegetarian you could hardly find varieties better to go veg hotels 9)No mirrors at restaurant for refreshing is a bigger flaw even a small hotels had it, now a days hotel following strategy to avoid crowd in rest rooms ,cheap tricks , tourist like found it discomfort to refresh in short 10) other than its nice place

I had an tandoori with my hubby and the chicken inside was not cleaned properly. The blood still there and it made more irresponsible of the staffs. Hotel Sri Surya, Kavundampalayam, Cbe. Hotel looks good, clean and pleasant atmosphere. Excellent Infrastructure & Lighting. Served the orders in polite way. Taste were amazed, delicious and mouth watery. Should try Bun parota- crispy & smothiee, mutton kothu potta dry was amazing and its top, goli-soda alternate drink of lime soda- make me to remember olden days. Its an first attempt in Sri Surya. Disappointments include- delay in delivery of food to table, prices of items are high, staff hospitality to each table is lacking even though more staffs were there. Good food need a time to delivery, wait to have a time in Sri Surya Hotel (if u get salary or treat by other) 😊😊😊

Experience was very bad....From outside it seems to be good but they didn't provide us any menu card and the food has not so much of wow factor. At the time of billing, we get to know that each food was very expensive because food was not so much of good quality and quantity.

Not worth it. Ordered mutton biryani but incorrectly they served chicken biryani. When informed there was not even a word sorry from them. As we ate few spoons of biriyani rice we were ok to continue..inspite they billed for mutton which is on higher side. Quantity of dishes were on lower side but too costly. I have been to their ramanathapuram branch to have bun parotta. Yesterday I went and had that and taste was as usual. Then had chicken 777 it was okayish. Today again went and bought butter naan and roti. When I asked for gravy they gave dry one and again they changed and again it was same. Only thing is they changed it to plate to bowl.. Kudal gravy was goood. Elaneer payasam good.. finally when I saw the bill they have charged 20 rs for water bottle. Firstly they should ask the customer whether normal or bottled water... Next is they are charging GST on MRP for that water. It is violation of many acts and also in GST it is anti profiteering... They should change the system...

Worst experience here, a below average egg schezwan fried rice not even worth for 80 Rs.,they have charged me 180 Rs., the taste was so horrible and it's hardly half cooked and it felt like a rubber. For side dish I bought Pepper Mutton and it has just 5 small pieces worth of just 100-120Rs., Maximum but they charged me with 230 Rs., and that too felt like a harder rubber, very bad taste. Don't go here very costly hotel sorry legal thieves will be here to swipe your hardly earned money from your wallet...

One of the good hotels around this area , I have fallen flat for its mutton varieties. Privacy of the client is maintained. For families separate ear marked area . Good service and efficient management . Parking is available.

A very nice restaurant that serves great food in a good ambience. The mutton biryani is too good and to die for, but the portion is very less. The non veg meals is also very good. Ambience wasn't great as the ceiling edges etc were dusty with some cob webs here and there. The service was very slow but the staff were very friendly. Hotel ambience is good, once of the places where you get good authentic Seeraga samba rice Briyani. The briyani was very tasty with very less oil. Bun Parotta was one of signature dishes, gravies were very good. Must visit if you want to taste a good non veg meals. They have veg menus too...

We had lot of varieties of food in sri surya hotel. Bun parotta is a big hit in this hotel.The food was bit spicy but those who crave for spicy food you will enjoy it. Kids enjoyed their Goli soda too.

One of the best Mutton Biriyanies I have had in recent times. They serve good quality meat (Velladu) and biriyani is made of Seeraga Sambha rice. I have tasted Nattu kozhi fry as well, which was good.

This our first time... Their infra looks good and Veg taste is also fine. They had board of Veg and Non Veg Hotel, but they are more into Non Veg. They have very minimal Veg Dish and I won't recommend this place for Veg lovers... Since that was a special day we don't had a chance to taste their Non Veg Dish..

The food is decent but pathetic service. Had to wait more than 15 minutes for water and around 30 minutes for bill. Would be better if the service was good. I will recommend this place for you if you have lot of spare time and patience.
