I have been to many outlets of A2B, but the outlet in this area and my experience was not at all good, I found the staff really rude and disrespectful, also the quality off food they have served was really bad, and hygiene I will rate 0, i have made a request for changing the seat as I found so many flies flying around on food and on my table, they said you can go and try other restaurants, This was really and unexpected answer from such a popular outlet, I found manger really unprofessional and illiterate i guess, why you hire such type of cheap staff@a2b? Anyways, about the grill sandwich they have served was not upto the mark i just left the place with disappointment, empty stomach, i really don’t know what to do at this moment as they found us people from different state and treated us like really awful, though i paid 50rs cash which was 90 and left the place. I won’t recommend to the costumer who are not local and I will never visit this place again. This outlet is really worst from the rest,

The place has an excellent selection of pure vegetarian dishes. It is really tasty. Also they have some North Indian specialities like Pani puri, pav bhaji etc. Tried the Pani puri and ghee roast. Both were good. Especially the dosa and the sides-chutney require special mention. The service was speedy one and the rates are really reasonable. They also have a snacks outlet with lots of mixture ,peda as well as other sweets. All looked yummy and even tried their peda, which was nice. Only found parking to be a bit of a problem as it is limited. Location is also great as you can easily reach here from town

I recently dined at Anand Bhavan, and I must say it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. The service was incredibly slow; we had to wait for what felt like an eternity just to get menu and the attitude of the waiter was very disturbing. When our food finally arrived, the food was actually very good and tasty .. I had heard good things about Anand Bhavan, but this visit left me thoroughly unimpressed and disappointed because of the bad customer service.I believe that they will rectify their mistakes by adding nice and good waiters..

As usual the quality, service of A2B is splendid. The restaurant is located at the prime location in Coimbatore and very near to the Gandhipuram bus stand so it's pretty easy to locate and reach the destination.

Mini tiffin for Breakfast was good. Coffee/tea, Poori were not part of the mini tiffin. If it was added it would be a great deal. Mini tiffin includes Masala Dosa, Pongal, Idly, Vada, Kesari Taste: Good (Can be better for the reputation) Parking: Good for 2Wheeler, Difficult for cars Seating: Spacious and neat in 1st floor To be improved: Handwash area is not in the right place.

Very nice hotel.located very close to gandhipuram town bus stand.nice food.hygenic preparations.very tasty. Wonderful experience.... Taste is awesome.....service is very nice.....One of the best Sweet and snack shop in the heart of the city. They have veg restaurant too. Dine-in and take away is available. North Indian, south Indian and Bengali sweets available. The sweets are lips smacking. Parking space is quite small. The restaurant is at the first floor. Card facilities available.Pure Veg restaurant and Bakery & snacks , chat items available here. Seating arrangement is less compared to restaurant. Ice creams , sweets , cakes, sweet poli available. Billing one counter available , we need to get bill first and cash, card payments accepted , then we can provide delivery bill to sale counter , we will get ordered items. Its purely self service only. Loved the quality of service, ambience, safety precautions, taste, and price, promotions, & discounts at this place.

The restaurant looks good, there is plenty of space for dining. But the customer service and billing areas need to improve a lot compared to other restaurants. Restrooms and washing areas are too small and not clean at all. The budget-wise is too costly, so plan yourself before the visit.

I have been visiting this place once in a while since 9 years. I just noticed that I never reviewed this place yet. The food here is exceptionally good usually though there was a small difference today. I would have reduced more stars for the rating, had not the waiter changed one of the items. My wife and me visited here on our way to kerala. We ordered 2 plain dosas and 2 teas only. Both of us received burnt 🔥 dosa. I mumbled the same to the waiter who did not say anything and went to serve the next set of people. Interestingly we were the first set of customers for the day. When I saw my wife's dosa was 50% burnt as in the picture, I called up the waiter and asked for a change as the standard of Adyar doesn't match with the dosa we received. The waiter instantly changed the dosa this time. The dosa tasted exceptional after the change. The service was also good. Thus I will retain my 5 stars. In the restaurant I noticed a large set of probably bengali visitors. They were using the washroom as expected. One of them was combing her hair in the dining area which was corrected by the waiter and this decision of his demands respect as combing one's hair is not to be done while eating food (basic etiquette). A con that I felt the restaurant faced was the shortage of washrooms. There was only one usable one and this was in high demand. The family mentioned above had certain members using the single washroom for upto 10 minutes as if it was their own without consideration for other customers. This is not something the restaurant authorities can do something about but more washrooms can be considered especially in a high demand restaurant like adyar. The washroom however was really really clean.

This is one always-clean, fresh looking place. Great place for a quick bite or a meal before traveling. Very easily accessible, right on the main road too. The breakfast options are good. Loved the puri and potato bhaji.

Visited this restaurant for dinner with family. It is situated in the prime location. Behind Gandhipuram Town Bus stand. Always there is crowd, had to wait for some time to get seated. Ordered paav bhajji, Masal Dosa, onion Dosa, Butter roti, Garlic Naan, Kadai Veg curry and Tea. All are delicious and served quickly. The rates are moderate. The staff's were polite. Also they have a sweet, Karam store. We purchased Sweets, Rajapalayam thattai. Will visit again. It didn't have a good ambience according to me, since it is full of people and everybody playing music chair :-)

Very popular restaurant. Even though the place is full, people keep coming. Service is very slow. Also, there is only one wash basin and there's always a queue there. However, the food is quite good and tasty and reasonably priced.

I had lunch at this hotel, and the experience I had was not good. It was crowded, and the washroom was not clean. I ordered the vegetable thali, and the food was okay. When I went to the counter to ask for the bill and paid the amount, the guy who had 'served' me quickly came over, grabbed the balance amount from the cashier, and handed it to me, expecting a tip.

Famous chain of restaurants. What food I ordered was good. The service was good, but then I saw the juice counter server juggling the glass with his bare hands. They changed the glass when I brought that to their attention. Some flies did enter when the back door was opened.

Food wise it’s good. Since the service was terrible I would not recommend this place. I’m a great fan of a2b sweets and food but was highly disappointed with the service. They have given a menu card with food waste.

Excellent choice for vegans when they reach in coimbatore, it is located in the heart of the town. It is a place for Tamil style of fooding. Main drawback is not so much parking spaces. But in the heart of a town this may be the maximum. Food is very good and I like it.

  • 3/5 Sreehari V. 6 months ago on Google
The food was good even though it was costly. The lack of tissues on the table caused a little discomfort for me. One of the waitresses also asked me to relocate from one table to another for no reason. It would have made sense if it was a reserved table but it wasn't as I remember. I was fatigued by my journey and just wanted to be seated somewhere for breakfast and it seemed a little annoying. I was also not provided with the bill and had to ask for it. The food was served quickly though 👍🏻

Had Bhel puri & Raj kachori . Topped it with a nice filter coffee . Chat items are authentic & yummy . They also offer a good range of sweets and savouries though a little pricey .

Very Neat, Hygiene. All employees wearing mask & gloves. I wish they continue same even after Covid-19. Some foods are very costly also less in quantity. Example single tea cost Rs 35/-. Request management to provide food at price suitable for monthly salary employees.

Clean and not crowded space to eat breakfast and snacks. Sweets of different variety available. No dedicated parking available. Card is accepted mode of payment.

  • 4/5 Muhammed H. 3 years ago on Google
Tried the chats, noodles and grilled cheese sandwitch here, all tasted good. And the tea here is amazing! The thickness of milk in tea and badam milk gives it the quality. The dining spaces are neat, hygienic and fully air conditioned, and can accomodate 60+ customers at a time. Wouldnt give a 5 star rating of the average service and hygienelessness of toilets.

  • 5/5 vignesh w. 3 years ago on Google
Tried their chats today and the menu had variety of chats, pav bhaji, desserts, milk shakes, sandwich and fresh juices. The restaurant was in the next floor. The taste was really great and the quantity was also good for the cost. A best place to go with friends and families. The kachori chat was awesome with flavours all around the mouth. Churmur chat was all crunchy and the pav bhaji was excellent.

This is the GO TO place for South Indian snacks which I reckon are one among the best. The snacks, I can vouch taste definitely like home made stuff and are also easy on the stomach and most importantly have a reasonably good shelf life. Sweets is one other department in which they excel. As far as dine in is concerned they need to pull up their socks and miles to go ___

Decent food with decent taste but price is a bit high. Normal service and could be improved. Snacks and sweets are good. More items and tastes good. Price is normal and worth the taste. Service is good. Evening dine in for snacks and chaat are available and tastes good Less parking space and always congested. Highly recommended for buying snacks and sweets for family and friends.

Better than other branches. Taste is good. Customer response needs improvement. 7pm also they told me to go to 1st floor , order and eat. I am in the hurry to catch bus. Anyway, comparing other famous hotels in CBE, this one is far far better.

Worst customer service experience, I just placed an order Paneer briyani but literally these guys took Nealry 1 hour to get delivered and the guy took order didn't response anything to me and didn't apologise for being late and I took the food and went to home just opened it to have food but I can't able to see Paneer in that briyani and I'm completely frustrated after seeing this. Waste of money and time.

One of the best vegetarian restaurant in Coimbatore. I love rasamalai as well as basundhi in a2b

  • 4/5 Kingson S. 1 year ago on Google
The food here is decent similar to most of the A2B places. The hotel ambience lighting, and seating is good. The 1st floor AC hotel doesn't have an elevator. Also the stairs leading up is narrow. Another thing I did not like is the wash area and restrooms inside the 1st floor restaurant, It is always dark, smelly, and deserted. The service is fine but every time I visit there is some renovation going on. Rest of the aspect is okay by me. I mostly visit here for the Mini tiffen during breakfast.
