Good place for quick serve tea and coffee. They also serve lemon honey tea, milk etc. There are nearby vendors selling bajjis, vadais, bondas that can be had in the premise. There are a lot of shops outside for quick eats ranging from Shawarma to thattu vadai to waffles

Food walk recap: This is one of the best place to have tea and coffee with an option of having regular sugar or kurumbu sakkarai. However this is not the review about the coffee shop. Its about the stalls around then. A couple of friends decided have a food walk in this area. We assembled at Velan Tea, Racecourse and we started off with the Madurai special. "Butter bun". We got a couple of regular butter buns, then kurumbu sakkarai butter buns and to spice up, we got some tawa buns too. We all enjoyed it, except the guy from madurai. He isn't impressed. Next up, salem settu kadai.got 2 mixed settu which had cucumber, peanut, mango, potato and garlic. Then got our favorite "Norukkals". Finally finished off with my favorite "Cheese bread settu" The momos shop also got out attention. Got cheesy momos from them and we each grabbed one. It was on of the best with cheesy fillings and corn in it. This is one of the best place to hang out for vareity of snacks.

Very good one with multiple snacks counters around which are all different and good in taste. There are multiple small businesses on site like Momolism, Salem Thattuvadai Set, Little Town Waffles, Herbal and nonveg soups, and many other snacks. Good place for multiple varieties of snacks at one spot.

Bestest tea. This shop is very well suited for racecourse area. The tea comes with naatu sakarai and normal sugar. It has long lasting taste. You don't think of another tea. You will feel satisfied. There is also sundal, paani Puri, bhel Puri, mutta bonda, and thattu vadai set and nenjelumbu soup, cool ah rosemilk outside velan kaapi desk. Rose milk irukku chillunu rose milk. The guy selling rose milk and soup is very sharp guy with voice attracting customers. So much well behaved business persons and families come here.

A very happening place in the race course. We had coffee and ginger tea. Both tasted very good. Always crowded. Parking is very difficult for cars and difficult for two wheelers. I personally like Annapoorna coffee more than this. Cash and digital payments are accepted

This is a Good place for morning walkers.. Coffee is good here.. and also we can choose the sweetners They have sugar, naatuchakkari, Karuppatti. You can choose from those.. But they have no vadas and snacks here.. You can buy vada from a shop just at this shop entrance.. That shop has vadas, like., Ulundha vada, pala bajji, samosa.. But little expensive. Nearly as cosy as annapoorna coffee.

I like this cafe, but i really hate one of the female staff's behaviour... Very CHEAP BEHAVIOR by her.... So, what happened is, I'm actually a regular customer of this cafe, and I'm a tea lover. So, you provide tea in two types of glasses : Regular glass and golden glass (copper glass) and you charge ₹.20/- per glass for tea. I always prefer drinking tea in golden glass (Copper glass). I said to one of your lady staff to strictly provide me in a golden glass(Copper glass). But instead she always argue to give me a Regular glass, which isn't fair, I seriously don't understand why is she treating me like that?? She used to say that, the golden glasses (Copper glasses) are for other customers, not for me. I must drink only in Regular glass even if golden glass exists. I don't think it's fair from that female staff, this is not the way l should be treated because I'm also a customer like others and l also pay for what I'm asking.... I don't get it for free, PLEASE UNDERSTAND 🙏 If this continues, then I'll stop coming to your cafe. I feel very INFERIORITY in coming to your cafe. I would actually thought of giving 5-Star rating to your cafe, but just because of one of your female staff I hate coming to your cafe. During peak hours and late evenings, the place is crowded. Too much littering of paper cups, tissues, etc. Cleaning is not done regularly. During early evenings, the place becomes pretty hot. Due to many offices around it, parking is bit difficult during peak hours

Velan coffee is ma favourite coffee in Coimbatore . I never say that Velan coffee is one of the best , it’s the best coffee which I felt in love with the coffee . I started ma coffee path with Velan coffee when it was 20rs . Now the cost of the coffee is 30rs , seriosuly it not upto ma budget and friendly price to the people . When it was 25rs somewhat ok but 30rs , it’s very hard to afford it by the middle class people . I used to have Velan coffee everyday , now weekly once because of this price hike so request to reduce the cost of the coffee . Thank Yu

The place is open space on the side of the main road. I can say that this place is a little famous and the taste of food is also good from the crowd of the place at night time. I personally recommended Cheese fired momos and Thattu vada set. But Frankie tastes average only.

I regularly used to have coffee here when it used to be just a coffee shop. One of the best coffee shops in town. Now after its renovation to eateries, i have become a fan of its snack varieties. The taste is very good and the ambience is awesome. Cheese mushroom is a must try. But the staff at the food counter was bit rude when I visited recently.

The filter coffee taste is divine. Servicemen and women were top notch in their attitude to serve the orders. Atmosphere and the ambience needs to be improved.
