Everything about this is BAD. First of all, this is not a proper hotel. It is a failed apartment that has been converted as an afterthought. There is no nameboard anywhere on the building. It is named Varun Residence. The reception is manned by a elderly person who is extremely rude, uncourteous and unprofessional. There was one elderly person for service, who was drunk and refused to help with the luggage. The room was the dirtiest ever; it appeared not to have been cleaned in a month. Every surface was dusty. Bathroom is tiny and every surface is covered in hard water scales. No soap or towel were given; after demanding, only one soap and towel were provided despite two occupants. Room is mosquito infested. There is a telephone but nobody answers service calls. The fabric on the furniture was torn. Bolt of the door don't fit properly. The cloth hooks inside the toilet was broken. Even though complementary breakfast was included in the tariff, it was denied. Even drinking water was not provided. This is a terrible place for anyone to stay. AVOID IT. It doesn't even deserve one star rating.

I reached by around 9pm on my day of check-in. I had called ahead and informed them that I had a booking there. The building was hard to find as there was no illumination in the area, and the minute board was not even visible. Anyhow, proceeding to the check-in, the guy at the reservation counter asked me to delete my booking from OYO, and that they will provide the room at the same rate. I was so tired and just wanted to have a peaceful sleep, so, I did what they asked for and didn't even argue. Anyhow, once the check-in is done, they told that the room is on the second floor. There were no helpers for the luggage. Once again, without complaining, I proceeded to the room with the luggage. Once I opened the door, the sight actually shocked me. It was a poorly maintained 1BHK. The TV is in the living room, in front of a torn sofa. Lighting was bad, and the bedroom didn't have any fresh sheets. I raised the concern, which was not taken care of by the hoteliers. Further, the washroom also was poorly maintained, and there was no shower. Dental kit and Bath kit was not provided, for which the response by the owner when aged was, "We don't provide those items. You can purchase from outside". Anyway, since there was no other option, I had to remove the bedsheets and settle for the night. In the morning, I had asked for a bath towel, which was provided, but it was not cleaned. When asked for an iron box, the response from the staff was that we don't provide that, since this was an apartment which was later turned into a hotel. One of the worst hotels you can ever book in lifetime. They don't know ABCD of manners. The manager is the most arrogant guy I have ever seen on earth. The property is absurd. Please don't book if you want to save your money and respect. The manager is an absolute rogue.

Lol this place is a joke. One of the worst experience ever. There are bulbs but no lights , Tv & AC but no batteries in the remotes , Kitchens with sink but no water taps , Bedsheets smells like they havent washed it for months , extremely dirty everywhere. They dont even clean after a customer leaves. A complete waste of money. How is this even mentioned as hotel/residency ?! Disgusting.

I had a stay in this appartment. To be frank I have not seen such a waste place ever. The cleanliness I am saying there is no were to find that. The money they buy is not what is need. The person there want money only. The photos which is given in the add is not what we can see there, I will give the pic . Please evaluate whether such hotels to be there or not.

Located near to airport and has lot of eatery joints around it and also has good transportation facilities. The room is of 1 bhk house with attached bathroom. Totally had a nice experience. good room with good infrastructure. receptionist also behaved very superb. room are very peaceful

Very rude , bad service . They don't even know what is hospitality . I highly recommended no one should go . They tie-up with Oyo but they asking extra money not just small amount they asking more than double the paid money. They denied to checkin so we lost paid amount and book another hotel in person don't go for Oyo booking .very poor service .fraud cheat you not deserve to be a human .go to hell. I recommend the owner to stop your injustice business

Very bad experience never happened in my life. Not cleaned, no ac, full of mosquitoes, full of cockroaches,bath room not at all good etc.... I DONT REFER ANY ONE TO THERE🙏🏻

Worst stay ever I have seen in my life. Not suitable for family. Property owner's behavior is very worse and money minded. This guy was asking for exta money as the service charge. Also rude and unprofessional behavior towards ladies. I recommend not to choose this oyo if you are in a family trip. NEVER from my experience.

This is not a hotel & I had a bad experience. I have booked a Room on OYO 18954 Varun Residency on Thu, 26 May 2022 for Check In - 2022-05-28 & Check Out - 2022-05-29. I want to do early check in & early check out, so I called the hotel. Hotel person told me to come & they have more properties near by. So they can accommodate anywhere near by. I reached the property on 28 May 2022 @ 7.00 AM. When I asked about my check in they told they don't have any rooms with low amount. (Please note that I have booked room through OYO for Rs. 515 Only). The minimum room amount is Rs. 1200 as per them. Then I called OYO Customer Care & informed them all. They in turn call the Hotel Manager & then something fishy happened. After Some time the OYO customer care executive told that since I told have any original ID card they will not provide any rooms. But actually I have laminated copy of my AADHAR CARD (which is acceptable all over India). Even with the same Laminated copy I stayed in a room in Chennai before. So OYO customer care executive told he will not refund any amount & also he will not help me out to find any other rooms. Then I talked directly to the Varun Residency Person & got the room with same AADHAR Laminated copy. I have paid Rs. 700 extra for the rooms. Since I came for official purpose I didn't tell much & paid the amount. Now what am telling here was the OYO are doing some fraud & if hotel person are not accepting low amount then why they shown this in booking.

Quality of food is not at par with the price they charge. Never try seafood especially prawns was worst.

Rooms are very spacious and good. Cost also less but if u book from oyo don't select break fast, they won't provide break fast. Again taking 50rs as a commission so go directly and stay

Not hygenic . Receptionist are not found . Available for only few times.Google map location is mismatch . Whenever I have booked ola it's goes wrong direction. Not good for family .

Rooms are stinky and not clean, worn out sofa, poor interior maintenance, broken closets, etc ... The person who looks after this is only concerned about the money/tip & not anything else.

All the photos posted are 2 years old and the hotel itself has become old, i was given one serviced room, which looked shabby and dirty, poor maintanence, don't book rooms here

Good place no complaints but need to be better, big room for single person one hall kitchen n bedroom n bath room with heater. But no furniture in hall but let down...tv is good no WiFi

We wish there was an option for giving no starts because the hotel doesn't deserve any. We had booked rooms for our staffs here and they treated our staffs very and didn't let them checkin. They asked our staffs to cancel the Oyo booking and book directly. We got to understand that the manager there had used slangs on our staffs. Worst ever place. Heard the manager is an absurd man who doesn't know any meaning of hospitality.

I booked two rooms in this residency through Oyo. I used my Oyo coupons to book the room. I made a call to the receptionist to confirm my booking and he told they will not be accepting persons who booked to oyo coupons. I am not sure why they are in tie up with Oyo. I have to pay 1800 more and they have turned off water in the midnight. We reached room around 12 in the night, it was too embarassing situation for us to get refreshed. Think wise before booking this room

It's the worst hotel there is, Varun residency was one of my worst experiences ever, the manager was so rude, the rooms smelled like alcohol and ciggerates, the sheets were nasty, the flush did not work in the bathroom, the room door was so poor and wouldn't even lock properly, there was hair and dust all over the place, please do yourself a favour and don't book a room there, if there's anyone putting out good reviews trust me they're fake.
