Highly corporate hospital. Before entering into the hospital my father is not having any problems in kidney, liver, eyes etc. I have medical records taken from other hospitals for that healthy condition. After entering into the hospital they gave very costly and powerful medicines. They didn't allow to purchase medicine from outside. Per day we spent nearly 15,000 for medicine. They didn't provide healthy foods. Also they didn't allow to provide healthy food from home. We spent more than 15 lakhs. But no use. With their treatment faced too many side effects. We took treatment here for six months. With the heavy dose treatment my father faced too many health problems. After giving treatment they told that, we couldn't find out the exact problem, take him to another hospital. Finally I lost my lovable father. Highly disappointed with their service.

One of the best hospital in Coimbatore city, one think we should keep in mind, don’t believe booking system over the phone, it won’t work, until you reach hospital and pay doctor fees in the reception token won’t be generated. If you are OP you should reach by morning 6 or 6:30 for the token to meet doctors at least by 11 AM, otherwise you will have to wait 6 to 7 hours, reception members could be little bit friendly reason already they are patients no need to be too much strict, May be good or bad but this is the process in the hospital. There are very good doctors. If you understood once the procedure in this hospital next time would be easy. First time in impression May not be but do not judge by its cover, very good doctors and treatments available, especially for cardiac and diabetes. All the best!

I went to this hospital to vaccinate with Sputnik V, helpful staff and they followed all covid guidelines and safety measures inside, the hospital is surrounded by tress such as neem which is great source for fresh air. It took around an hour to vaccinate and 30 minutes in observation after vaccination. Over all great service provided.

Maintenance was good,the doctors and nurses are so kind. CAR PARKING AND BIKE PARKING AVAILABLE. Canteen foods are not ok,the prices are higher they're charging like a 3star hotel. Bed charges and services are high when comparing to their treatment. 😐

I will give zero stars if possible. My wife was admitted in the hospital with suspected dengue last month. The doctor and nurses are ok but the hospital management is completely money minded. Never tell them you have insurance. They will try every trick in the book to get as much money from you as possible. Right from admission, they will offer you dormitory beds or atleast premium AC room only. Even though there are single rooms available in between, they will say fully booked. They won't even bother looking into system or checking. This goes on till you get discharged. Even during discharge, they will delay as much as possible so that they can get additional room charges for so many hours extra. Totally ridiculous money minded hospital.

Very good and specialized treatments are given . The rooms and corridors are very neat and clean.The doctors and staffs have a kind care of patients. They clean the rooms and restrooms for three to four times a day.canteen for visitors are also available.The cost is too efficient to pay and took the treatment here when compared to others. The cost is almost suitable for all the people.But only drawback is that they not allow the outside food inside.Itis for safety for the patient but if there is a child we can't able to give outside food. The location of the hospital is in the center of the city.so it is comfortable for emergency times.

My father had spent most of his time from Feb 2021-Oct 2021 in this hospital. The doctors and nurses and most other staff are good. Good treatment. But the behaviour of the PRO manager is inhumane. Due to covid restrictions, only one attender per patient is allowed. But coz my dad was critical, I had requested the PRO for permission for an additional attender as well. It was a long term treatment and was difficult for 1 person to manage day in and out. And we also pretty much know he wouldn’t survive. Wanted to be with him during his last days. The PRO manager was so rude and arrogant in her response. She wasn’t willing to listen to the story. I understand covid and special precautions have to be taken. And we were as well from our end. It is the way that she treats people. I spoke in Tamil and her responses were in English. Would she be using English with people who can’t speak or understand English? It is not that the other rooms did not have more than 1 person. I being the one who follows rules, asked for permission. Working in a hospital, you want their staff to be considerate and did not have an ounce of it.

I had a good birthing experience here. Pros Postpartum care was started immediately Breastfeed positive hospital which was initiated quickly after c section. The lactation consultant Pavithra is really good in helping new moms extensively with their queries and concerns. Discharge was hassle free. Cons Acquiring a room was difficult for us. No outsiders are allowed.(no visiting hours)

One of the best hospital in Coimbatore. My father undergone bypass surgery here. All doctors are well experienced and the treatment was very good. Cost of treatment is less compared to other multi specialty hospitals. Good multilevel - automated car parking available.

Multi-speciality hospital in coimbatore. Most of the people's said it's too costly. But I don't think so. Because they will caring perfectly. Especially gynaecologist and emergency department. Iam moved here, from another one hospital(clinic, because they have visiting doctors, on limited times only) Compared to that clinic, this hospital have same cost, and also we didn't go any wherever else for getting scans or tests. In my experience, they provide best service. And also some unexpected technology (wacum) they used to transform reports to another departments. It's has a big stacked parking.

my sister got surgery in this hospital last week,The hospital doctors and attenders are so good and the give good attention . The major draw back in the hospital is food. Food quality for a patient is very poor, and they're not responsible for the food, if we order the juice for patients it will arrive after 1 to 2 hrs. Very worst canten i ever seen.

As an American traveling to Coimbatore on business, I had need for immediate emergency care and was lucky to come to GKNMH. Emergency triage was efficient and communication was easy to understand in English. When stabilized, I was admitted to a private room by request where a personal advocate from my business could remain with me 24/7 comfortably. The nurses of Ward 47 took great care of me with a need for constant IV fluids and antibiotics. When I had questions about test results, they shared the information I needed. All very pleasant and interested in my recovery and lifted my spirits to keep me upbeat in a bad situation. Thanks especially to "Rock Star", "Diva", "Sad Eyes Beauty", "Mother Hen" and "Sweetie" (my given nicknames because my eyesight was too poor to read their name tags and for their privacy) and everyone else...I will never forget them. The doctors asked questions, made efficient decisions on medical interventions and made sure I was informed and on board with their diagnosis and treatment program. Habi, one of the cooks from the hospital food service provider Sodexo visited personally to ask for my preferences for foods and slowly brought my diet back into normal over a few days. All was made delicious, not just bland, even from the simple broths and soft foods my body was able to tolerate. As a meat loving American, I did not miss it at all with the carefully prepared diet of vegetables, soups, rice and the idli and chapatis were delicious with tomato chutney!

Here treatment is good. But everything is little bit costly compared to other hospitals.

I kindly request hospital management to allow patient attenders (atleast 2 nos ) to view the patient. The Security persons both men and women are rudely reply to the patient attenders. Kindly teach the security guards how to react with the people. The people's are coming to hospital not for enjoying, they have lot of mental worries with them.

Timely service and good care by the doctors, but very bad service from the administration department. I was billed extra money at discharge ( already paid an advance of 5k) and they didn't give me a proper explanation for it but made me walk from C block to A block carrying a 2 year old 3times. And in the end the girl who was answering me handed over my bills to another guy who blindly told me that they had done all the services they charged me and simply walked away. I was really perplexed by the way they treated people. Being an educated person I was able to question the clauses in the bill and yet was turned down and cheated thinking of the people who are illetrate.. Very pathetic..

Hospital does not follow a proper protocol, doctor does not talk politely which is a very important behaviour one doctor should have. SERIOUS ISSUES: 1. In blood bank I was giving a donor blood before taking a blood no prior questions were asked to me. 2. Doctor behaviour, Patient was undergoing a day care treatment and doctor have suggested a injection and that injection was missed by nurse and later we identified and informed to doctor but doctors response why did we miss out checking with nurses but we are not a medical staff we are there as patient MANAGEABLE ISSUES: Unwanted diagnostics, why we went for a consultation some random cancer test was suggested to my mom by scaring her that these are really needed for aged women's. Insurance Desk: Random Unnecessary documents were collected and submitted because of which the claim was rejected. Need for 3 Attenders to manage and coordinate things, between the departments they don't get updates over an call for everything I have to visit each department and hospital is constructed in a way like a mouse maze uill have to walk atleast 15 mins for each departments No Proper Rooms Allocated: we've requested for a seperate room but due to unavailability we got shared room but I'm the shared no arrangements were made for a attender not even a pillows or blanket even as a paid option. Lot and lot to say in a single admission.

Doctors are good. Too loud and lots of noise during night. Affects the sleep of the patient’s. Food quality is bad. All hot drinks are given in plastic containers. Juices are very watery. Juice orders will take 30 to 60 minutes to deliver after ordering. Bathrooms are very unclean and smells.

I won't say anything about hospital management since they were providing perfect hospitalization for the patients. But due to some doctors good name of that hospital is slowly vanishing. I specially meant Dr.K.Arunadevi, Consultant Neurophysician. One of the worst behavior doctor which I never seen in my life. Since Doctor profession was meant with humanity, she doesn't know about that itseems. She was asking the CABG operated person to wait for 2hrs still due her lunch. Moreover that patient was already waiting for the past 1 hr. She was shouting like anything by coming out of her room like "I won't look after the patient since it was my lunch time and if needed ask them to go with some other doctor". Eventhough patient doesn't had her lunch and we were requested too, but she was not ready to look after that patient. Where is the humanity exists here? Management please this is our kind request to take necessary action on that useless doctor.

October 2023 got admitted for my delivery. They started with normal procedure since I didn't get labour pain. I had gone through emergnecy c -section. They are planning for C-section for most of the patients in this hospital. Only some of the patients are taken through normal delivery. After delivery I went to ICU for sometime for observation, we found one of the sister there, were they were behaving rudely to most of the patients, there were no hospitality with most of the sisters there There were no proper room facilities when compared to the charges they provide. They need to improve on room facilities. Delivery charges also was more expensive.

My encounter with the doctors at the Kuppuswamy Naidu Hospital was the worst I've ever had, and the watchman's doglike behavior broke my heart. There is no duty doctor response when a patient is having respiratory problems. Everything is extremely expensive when done in the name of trust, including patient meals. Even when they are aware that a patient will eventually pass away, doctors simply seek attendance for refusing to allow admission to the intensive care unit. Why do they need to take someone to the intensive care unit (ICU) for financial gain after establishing that there is still breath in an artificial body? Even in PRO office, getting split up from them worst in experience when they can give till 9 pm evening but the response is till 5pm we can give the if you required come with in 5 or else you can’t get. The hospitality of the doctors and staff at KMCH was excellent

I am very impressed with care that was delivered by GKNM hospital to my mother. She is an elderly lady recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr Arul raj is excellent and explained very well to me and my mum. A big thanks to nursing and other staff who ensured that my mum was well cared for and kept us informed throughout the course of treatment. I definitely recommend this hospital

Even as my mother and several others are still recovering from her surgery, the hospital with its poor administration is subjecting its patients to severe stress and trauma by allowing construction work in the upper floor. One can imagine the deafening and deadening effect, the sound of the jack hammer, pounding by hammer can cause to patients and many of them in the ward being labor cases. Repeated requests to administration fell on deaf ears who seem to be completely mindless to the consequences of permitting such work in hospitals with patients being admitted for treatment. Few patients in fact had to leave the ward to sit away from the noise. A hospital is meant to be quiet and calm to aid patients recovery and not a place of wild cacophony and ear splitting sounds which can aggravate a patients condition. While I don’t have any issues with doctors who are very competent and caring, otherwise this hospital has been thoughtless in permitting construction/alteration to happen even as they are admitting and placing patients around the very epicentre of the construction arena. It has been no less than traumatic for my very old and ailing mother thanks to poor management and administration of the hospital.

My mother in law admitted in hospital for last two days before. Going to good treatment well and doctors, nurse take care of good human being, nicely to talk. But some restrictions will not allowing visitors to inside hospital. Security behaviour is not good for some time.we are noticed overall hospital building entrance, floor available notice board for allowing two visitors at the evening 4pm to 7pm.But the hospital security is not allowed in visitor timing. Not suggested for Impatient treatment. Please take second opinion outside. Most staff doesn't want to be bothered for any doubts. The trust is loosing its name beacause of lathargic attitude of all staff and doctors. I was here for my daughter's fever. Even at the end of 6th day and a bill of 1,00,000 bill there is still no diagnosis. We are suggested to meet another specialist in Ramakrishna hospital. PS. I have experienced IP treatment in Ramakrishna which is more better than GKNM.

Don't trust this hospital, I spent 3 lacs for my mom treatment, they nothing done, just put drips and take 2 weeks and discharged.. After that I went another hospital and spend only 25 k and my mom recovered very much fast in 2 days... I would recommend pls do not go this hospital. Money Minting!!! In simple words "if you have enough money you can go pour". My uncle had a mild chest ache and we brought him to GKNM hospital. Though he had pain he was absolutely alright, after bringing they took a couple of ECG tests and in the second test a minor block was confirmed and he was asked to undergo Angio. Everything was prepared and from nowhere they wanted to take COVID test, first two tests were negative but the third one was positive and this message came to us in the midnight. We were asked to pay 1.5L upfront to treat COVID. How insane to ask 1.5L in the midnight. Despite Doctors trying to help us the so called "deciders" PRO demanded 25000 per day to treat him. I would never recommend this hospital to anybody, they are not transparent, PRO's are not friendly and purely money minting corporate hospital. For 24 hours we had to pay 50000!?! GODFATHER of Corporate Hospitals!!!

If u say You have insurance they will said there is no tie-up with your current insurance and we want to pay our own money till discharge. Environment is so good. Hospital is very and clean. One of the oldest hospital in Coimbatore. Only problem is that they don't allow outside food not even fruits. The rates of items in inside canteen is too high. Tea ₹18, coffee ₹23 and others items also. They allow atleast fruits.

Nurses were good and polite in ICU ward but general ward it was not quite good. Management has to check that. Services are not good . They make us wait for more than 3 to 4 hours. And "canteen" is not good every rice is not cooked well

The hospital does not provide private rooms even when you book them and withhold cheap vacant rooms on purpose so that patients will opt for higher priced rooms. The people handling allotment of private rooms are extremely rude as well. Its a total scam. Procedures will take forever too, there is no proper handling of patients.

We were in this hospital for two and half months and we are really happy with the treatment. The doctors,nurses, physiotherapists & respiratory therapists are exceptional. Moreover they are kind and polite with the patients. The RMO in particular is very helpful and straightforward. I thank each and everyone in the team for their dedication and hard work

My dad was admitted for heart valve replacement surgery. Dr. Chandrasekhar sir and his team did the operation.he has recovered well. I like the way the entire procedure was done. I would like to appreciate and congratulated the entire team, hospital staff and adminstration for their service specially in this crucial corona time. At most care was given. My mother want for checkup with pain on neck, shoulder and stomach we met Dr Rajan gastroenterologist he dignosed my mother have ulcer at stomach at her first visit and gave treatment. As soon as she took medication her neck and shoulder pain pain become severe we met doctor for second time doctor Rajan he just changed medicine and ignored my mother problem. After a month once again for third visit with same neck and shoulder pain issue my mother met Dr. Rajan and doctor just gave pain killer calcium tablets and sent her . Once again in forth visit after month she went with same neck and shoulder pain doctor ignore all her issue and asked to continue same medication for ulcer. After 15 days of her fourth visit my mother neck and shoulder pain with minor heart attack her condition become critical . We visited for emergency treatment at ooty hospital and junior doctor dignosed my mother with block in her heart. We did first aid at ooty and admitted at GKNMP for emergency surgery for my mother. But this time we lost almost 4 months with incorrect diagnosis by Mr Rajan and defect in service. I gave formal complaint to hospital public relationship and waiting for action.

We are very much satisfied about the homely care by all nurses and helpers in Ward No:47 they attended in time in all days. As far as Doctors concerned Dr. Arul Raj sir, Dr.Sivanesan sir, and Dr. Yuvaraj sir who consulted by us are so intimately and friendly help us and give their spl efforts in our treatment. Worst kitchen food for attender inside the hospital. Can they make any worst? And food from outside is not allowed. They close some block entrance at their convenience and make people walk everywhere. Don't even start about the emergency entrance staffs. Slowest sloths ever! And the subtle ways the staffs make your life most uncomfortable and burdensome. Yet the billing? Wow.. that just flows infinitely like some star hospital This hospital was once my favorite and most comfortable. What have they done to it!? We arrived at the Neuro OP after taking a prior appmt for 1430 hrs to just show reports of tests taken Yesterday...The time rn is 1730 ,yet to see the Dr..we've been told that 1. Dr's lunchtime 2. Dr's visiting hours... Highly straining visit for just a ten minute meet with the Dr.. pathetic

Hospital is good, doctors are good except for one thing...they are full of policies and rules. In one way it's good so not many visitors will disturb the patient but as an attender staying with the patient...there should be a bit considerable. Hopefully things will be fine soon.

One of the very few Trusted multi-speciality hospitals in coimbatore. We have many personal experience with this hospital, Facilities are very good and expertise doctors panel. Starting from housekeeping, Billing, visitor management, digital records keeping everything is managed well. Charges are clearly explained well in advance and detailed information were provided in bills. It's a nice ambience outside hospital with trees surrounded and a multilevel parking facility. Canteen located inside hospital is a traditional one, good taste, Hygienic &clean ambience.

After delivery these guys will keep the mother in freezing cold for 6 hours. And they won't switch off the AC even if the patient shivers to the core. And if you like to understand the reason they will blame it on the protocol. My wife had to suffer a lot because of this. They will give you the new born with you but the mother will not be near to feed. Absolutely senseless process. And Worst of all these guys were trying to use the same lift that was used for corona patients

Dr. Senthilkumar sir and Dr. Prasad sir were very kind enough to listen to the issues. My husband is getting better now. September 6 to September 21 we were there. Our only complaint was about the quality of diet. Hope that it will also be improved.

If you have lots of money than you can prefer it. For cancer treatment they are giving packages. Each medicine for chemo is very costlier compared to Kerala hospital. They prefer money over life. Worst experience there. If you are willing to treat there for cancer please do visit some other hospitals in Kozhikode. You will get better options

Their rich experience in running manufacturing organization's reflects in the way the hospital administration is handled. Being a service oriented hospital in the heart of the city is an another jewel in their crown.

One of the oldest Hospital in coimbatore. They have all facilities here. A seperate block for Cardiology is available. LRG NAIDU INSTITUTE OF CARDIOLOGY AND CARDIOTHORACIC ACIC SURGERY. many senior doctors are working here. DR.Rajpal cardio vascular and Dr.Chandrasekar Catdiothoracic. Both are busy doctors. Needs advance booking to get their appointment. Service is good.

Went for a health checkup. Staff are sharp, professional, and helpful in guiding and taking care of. The entire procedure/process was smooth. Food was served from their canteen, it was good. Eye & ENT checkup/specialist care and interaction needs improvement. Lunch break is highly needed and can be communicated to patients. Other than that, I'll never regret visiting this hospital for a General Health Checkup. Thank you!
