The worst hospital ever seen. Works only for money. Very poor service by nurses. Doctors are good but medicines are provided by nurses who doesn't bother to give on right time. If we call them for emergency they would delay minimum by one hour. Disconnection of IV line was done by myself as nurses refused to come saying they will disconnect when patient needs to use bathroom.sleeping pills were given without our knowledge. Insulin was not given at right time. Even physiotherapy department haad many internship students who were really engaged in their own business rather than treating patients. Wheel chairs are available only when u come to admit. At the time of discharge u will have to wait for hours. Very very very bad experience. We had to discharge before time for better treatment. Money oriented business.

Has good experienced doctors. Staffs are polite and genuine. Ordinary rooms for patients are not available all the time. Prior reservations are also not allowed for planned surgeries.

The hospital, while substantial in size, falls short in several aspects. Starting from the entrance, the roads leading to it are unusually narrow, and securing a parking spot feels like an elusive quest. Moreover, there's a distinct lack of clear signage to guide visitors to the college or hospital premises. Navigating within the facility proves challenging as well. The security personnel often lack adequate information and tend to redirect inquiries to the reception area, where the staff consistently appear overworked and, as a result, somewhat irritable. This adds to the frustration of those seeking even simple directions. The hospital layout escalates the situation further. Billing and registration are in separate locations, and reaching the doctors requires ascending three floors due to consistently busy elevators. Subsequently, what should ideally be a brief task often takes a minimum of two hours to complete. For scans, a trek to the fifth floor is necessary. The medical professionals, however, perform their duties capably. Perhaps the most significant drawback is the inefficient crowd management within the hospital. However, it's worth noting that the quality of service and the manner in which patients are treated remains commendable despite these operational challenges.

My son (3 years) has done a surgery on may 30 -2022 . Post surgery he had complications even today . June 4 th he had a severe pain and midnight we took him to emergency room . They said the urine tube was blocked and they removed the block by 3 am . We came back to home and he started crying at 6. By 6:30 we reached the emergency room and they asked us to admit because culture test is positive. We admitted him at 6:45 . Till 10:45 he was continuously crying and no body was there to look at him . By 10:35 I expressed my concern angrily. It induced her ego and become a ego clash . She complained to her superior that I am behaving extremely. I left the hospital don’t want to see my son suffer . By the time a paediatrician attended the child . Till 1:30 the doctor who did the surgery did come . The staff didn’t call him . My wife forcefully went into her OP and cried like anything . Then he found out the urinal tube was blocked again . He asked us not to admit the child and asked to discharge from the hospital. This is the way they treat ppl . We can’t do anything against them

This about not following covid protocols by the hospital "KOVAI MEDICAL CENTER AND HOSPITAL (KMCH), 99, Avanashi Road, Coimbatore-641014, India." Even after Tamilnadu government Announced strict protocols to control spread of covid, this hospital is not following the restrictions properly. Especially we Are surprised to see the pediatric section, they provide tokens just for name sake and they call all the Patients At a time. Young kids without proper precautions they Are waiting for more than 4 to 8 hours to see the Doctors . For an example Dr.Ashwath, a leading pediatrician, seeing hundreds of patients at a time ! Then what's the use Of providing appointments. Patients (new born & kids) are waiting more than 6 hours. This type of actionS Should be stopped immediately. I agree that this is a good hospitals with experienced doctors. Without common sense what's the use of education ? Except emergency, hospitals should provide and follow correct token systems to avoid gatherings. Government should take strict actions to control wide spread of covid. Encl: i'm attaching photos taken on 03.01.2021 At KMCH hospital, Coimbatore .

Very worst hospitality. Trailer is great but main picture has nothing in it. The hope of getting cured lost day by day, only few nurses do their job or duty to the fullest. Most of the nurses hesitating their given job. Sure they have other works, but they need to do their work on timely manner so that the patient may not be affected. The medication are given only if we ask. Other than that, hospital are maintained properly. Doctors must Need to give proper explanation on what medication patient is prescribed with and also by what means they are giving medication. Costly for an middle class man.

Came to hospital at 9 am and the Doctor did not come to OP until 12.30 then when it was checked with the physician Assistant she said dr will come only by 3 pm. I travelled 175 kms in the morning to reach hospital at 9,It was an irresponsible Answer. The waiting area in the old block is absolutely pathetic. No enough chairs for patients and the cleanliness 😂😂😂 KMCH was good once but not anymore Even many government hospitals are maintained better than this

We work for Wildlife conservation. On 7th of November 2020 there was a leopard death in the Nilgiris. We went for the leopard Post-mortem as a part NGO representation. On the PM day one of our friend ingested formalin by accident (mistook instead of water). We took him to GH Ooty, from there they referred to Coimbatore. We have brought him to KMCH hospital. Treatment was given to him and got discharged on 12th of Nov 2020. Since this is considered to be poison ingestion, hospital has asked us whether to register a MLC. We wanted that and they have took ₹2400/- as refundable fee. They said they'll inform the police station about this and we need to go to the concerned police station and give them a self declaration statement that not to file it as a case and to get it signed by the SI and asked us to submit a copy to the hospital within 10 days of discharge to get the ₹2400/- reimbursement. We went to the police and enquired on the same. They said they haven't received any complaints from the hospital and since there is no case registered we need not give them a statement. They have asked us to share the information to the hospital and gave us the station number and asked us to give it to the hospital in case if they need any clarification. We came to the hospital for review on 20th of Nov 2020 and informed the same. A person named Ms.Gomathi is asking all sort of irrelevant questions in a way to find reasons to not give us the MLC reimbursement. Then she finally wrote a letter to finance department to reimburse the money. There some communication happened between two department and the person from the finance department is asking for original bill to reimburse the money. They didn't give us a separate bill for MLC. It was given in the final bill statement of the hospital. Since we had to apply for a post- hospitalisation Mediclaim we had sent all the original bills to the insurance company. However we have a photocopy and scanned copies of all those bills. But they are still not accepting it for a reimbursement. Also during our hospitalisation we had taken a room on 8th morning. They said they don't have normal rooms and gave us AC room and also made us to continue stay in the AC room till the day of discharge. Moreover on the 12th morning during the doctor visit he said for discharge. They took long and discharged us only by 12.28pm also they have charged us a full day room rental of ₹3250/- for the 12th as well. Though the doctors and facilities are good, they do sort of these kinds of cheap acts for making money. Very disappointed on this and waiting for more than an hour to meet the medical director in front of room no. 005. Take everything serious and get everything in writing from the hospital otherwise all these tounges can twist and turn in any direction. In simple it is a stressful experience!

The doctors here just wander around the hospital. We went for my mom's health problem there at 7:45 am and made a registration there and we saw our primary doctor for her health issues but last she said to consult a gastro doctor we register for gastro doctor at 1 pm while registering the nurse said that the doctor will be consulting at 5 but the doctor came at 6 and we met the doctor at 6:30 and we left at 7:30 its really not good if have a job left for that day you're not going to do that. So if you wanna consult a doctor here then take a leave for that day so you will not get stressed

We had a very bad experience about the hospital and doctors ..my wife came for delivery with pain (Water Break) But they not even care about her then they not even touched the test report and asked to take corona negative certificates in that condition from govt hospital , what we can do whether we have to take corona test first in that condition rather we have to worry about her & baby first ? Then what is the pride you have to say “multi-speciality hospital” ?

I visited this hospital twice recently, both times unhappy with the service offered by the hospital. Pros: 1. Hospital cleaning and maintenance is ok except for toilets 2. I met Dr Mathew Cherian and E. Senthil Kumar. Both are good doctors, but the process of consulting them and booking appointments could be better. Cons: 1. KMCH management is only looking for money. I don't mind paying ₹500 for each doctor, but I didn't receive the expected services during my visit. Let's see one by one below. 2. Parking is always full, so you must park on Avinashi Road, a traffic area. 3. Crossing the road to reach KMCH is a high risk. No electronic signals are available, so people enter heavy traffic, leading to accidents. KMCH can discuss with CBE corporation and arrange 2 KMCH securities on both sides of the roads to assist the patients who cross the road. 4. It was too crowded everywhere, but there were fewer seats and toilets. 5. Toilet doors and inside need to be cleaned. Unhygienic. I was hesitant to open the door due to being unhygienic. 7. Outpatients (OP) stood in the queue before the doctors' rooms. Not enough seats for them. Also, doctor assistants do not call the patients if they sit in the provided sitting area. So, patients should always wait outside of the doctor's room. 9. OP consulting rooms are on a pathway to the restaurant and a gift shop. There was so much chaos due to the entire path being flooded with people, along with OP, who stood outside the consulting room and the hospital staff using the food and medical trolleys. Oh my god! 11. The doctor's online booking system could be better. The doctor advised me to revisit in a week, and I could not book the appointment online. I can only book the appointment a day before the appointment via phone. At that time, all appointments were booked out. 13. I called the customer service staff (not the doctor's room staff) to book an appointment. She didn't respond well. I asked her name to continue the conversation, but she refused rudely (11/01/24 - 3.23 PM) 15. When one doctor referred to another doctor, the file was transferred to another doctor, but the doctor's room staff never advised me to pay the fees for the particular doctor. I thought the file was in progress, and after an hour, I checked with the staff, and they advised me to pay the fees first before joining the queue. KMCH should advise the staff to inform the patient when they receive the file. 16. Some doctor's rooms are next to the toilet, and standing outside the consulting room isn't easy because of the people using the bathroom.

The super deluxe rooms were cozy and clean. The super deluxe rooms have a guest room , 1 patient bed , 2 beds for bystanders and a single spacious attached bathroom. There are two attached balconies and ours faced coimbatore airport. The view and ambience was so nice and the patient never feels that they are in a hospital. The nurses are really good and down to earth. Doctors and other staffs are also good in their behaviour. They have all facilities within the hospital. There are two restaurants available within the hospital and they serve good food in affordable rates. The cleanliness is commendable. The cleaning staff cleans the room twice a day.

Waiting time is more for both doctor consultation and lab testing. We need whole day to complete the whole process. I suggest management to take immediate action. As like your time, our time also very important. Respect this. Get direction feedback from patients, you ll know the reality.

A well known hospital and one of the largest hospital in coimbatore. Cardiology department at its best and wonderful doctors are there at the cardiac unit. My doctor was Dr. Saravanan, who treated my family and we had a new lease of life. Thanks for the best medicines and wonderful technology at the hospital. Rooms are good. Staffs are polite. Cost is little bit higher.

Facilities are worst in this hospital. 1. Rooms and floors are not cleaned much.we can see dirts in every room doors. 2. Taking too much of time to get scanning report (almost 3hrs to get report post scanning is completed) 3. Advance appointment option is not available due to this pregnant ladies has to wait from morning to late in the evening for consulting. It impacts their health issues. Not sure hospital is trying to solve health issues or making people to become a patient. 4. Sometimes when doctors are not available we have to meet their assistants only. But we are paying for consult the doctor not for their assistants( college students) 5. In canteen also we have to wait for a long Because of only one canteen is present for all patients ( there is no seperate facilities for pregnancy ladies) Overall : Healthy people can easily become a patients in this hospital due to worst facilities.

Very worst hospital.. dr.Arulraj worst money minded doctor . We lost my father due to his improper treatment. He diagonised my father with fatty liver during first week of October 2021 itself …. But he didn’t give proper treatment . Made his condition still worse and sucked our money too by playing a good drama .. he prescribed IV also without telling its procedure to do … they didn’t allow us to stay in hospital also . Told us to discharge and put IV at home … we lost my father on FeB 1 due to his stupid treatment. He may escape from us but sure he will face karma soon . DONT EVER GO TO THIS hospital AND LOOSE LIFE . They ARE REALLY MONEY MINDED AND WANT TO SUCK OUT BY ALL MEANS . They are not doctors

KMCH a well-established brand declining down due to very poor patient care. Everyone in the hospital is so busy. Right from Consultants to every employee. You must have the extreme patience to get your work done. The picture is just a que on Tuesday for cash counter. PARKING - Almost full every time. LAB Investigation - No proper reports issuing.Prices are alwasy high.CBC just would costs 550 rs which is actually just 250 rs. Consultants - They have all the branded ones but you can't never see them.they will bill you in the name of counsultant and you'll end up seeing some junior or PG doctors ..never mind to even spare few mins with patients. Better to see physicians outside. The worst part of scenario is Pharmacy ( Main pharmacy - I ) I just waited a hour just to get 2 medication. They usually justify the waiting time..but that not fair most of the times.

While the medical expertise and diagnoses provided by the doctors at this hospital are impressive, this alone does not necessarily make for a good hospital experience. Unfortunately, despite booking an appointment, the waiting times are extremely long, and the staff can be quite rude. Even the pharmacy has long waiting periods. From initial scans to the pharmacy, every step of the process can be quite time-consuming. While the hospital is well-known for its world-class care, it struggles with managing patient flow and capacity, leading to significant delays and frustration for patients

Had bad experience in the visit made a week back. Overall the hospital is charging consultation fee just valid for a day. Even if you visit next day you need to pay consultation fee again. Worst policy. And doctors not even spending 10-15 minutes time with each patient. Patient needs care from doctors but that's not happening. All are money minded. Even the healthy person will get sick waiting in hospital for long hours. And pharmacy is very bad too. Need to wait for 30 mins to just get two medicines. Parking very poor as it's very far from the hospital building. Elderly patients can't walk that far from the parking area.

At any cost i will never visit Dr.murugan ( managing director) of KMCH , he very rude , no idea about his experience and treatment. I went to get medical certificate post surgery and he was very rude with harsh words, don't know why such a renowned hospital like KMCH has placed this rude person as MD of the hospital. He even apologized later, but this act is not tolerable special he being MD of KMCH. Worst experience.

I just now made a phone call to the hospital to book an appointment to see Dr. Shanthakumar but the receptionist way of replying is complete arrogant and aggressive. He didn't have any knowledge to attend to customer needs, instead he kept on transferring the call to OP and they also didn't respond to the call. His way of speaking to a patient was without manners, also couldn't get appointment for the same date. My advice is to teach them how to respond to patients politely. Kindly ensure the employees are trained to handle to the patient and customer needs.

Hygiene and cleanliness standards are severely lacking at this hospital. While it may suffice for checkups, I strongly advise against admission due to these concerns. They charge exorbitantly, yet basic cleanliness is sorely lacking. Proceed with caution, as the quality of care does not align with the hefty fees charged.

Nice doctors, ample parking space for two and four wheelers. Canteen, and quick bite shops also in to the premises. Separate building for Emergency care.

We went to kmch hospital on sep 25th for my 5yrs old son constipation problem. Paediatrics doctor rajendran reviewed and gave some medicines then ask us to come after 15days. Again my son was facing illness and went to see doctor on oct 22nd where he ask us to get opinion with arulraj gastro surgeon. We went there at around 12 and nurses told doctor is busy with patients so wait. Also informed us not to eat anything. Myself, wife, 7months second kid, 5yrs old son waited till 3pm and asked nurse what doctor is doing. She become angry and informed something to doctor. Then next min doctor came out of room and shouted us like anything why cant wait. Then i said we are waiting for more than 3hrs with babies no food and nurse saying not to take food. Then doctor said who asked you to not to take food and go i have. I will talk to rajendran and inform the boy status. Here my mind question is why dont inform the status to patients rather than talking between doctors. Then we went to food court and had lunch at 3.15 then came back to stand near doctor cabin at 3.45. Again waited till 5pm then they called us and informed nothing to worry its just because of less water intake and less fibre food only this happens. He gave one tonic and ask us to come after 2weeks if he again facing issues. Here my question is why cant he dont have time to spend this 5mins explanation during waited hours to break the silence. Totally disappointed and nowadays money minded people covering all sides in hospital. For each doctor opinion need to pay 350rs and really fins if you responded for my kid. Worst doctors arulraja and rajendran.. lessons learnt here is dont go to hosiptal bcz their response is worst.

No transparency in the hospital in general. Administration / Claims department is working as if they are doing a favour to patients. No help at all. Administration Room handling department will only offer from high end AC room and say other rooms are not available. They only care about make sure occupancy of AC room and they don't cooperate. Yelling at attenders and force us to take the room they allot on their own discretion. No transparency in the hospital management in general.

Though treatment is relatively fair and nursing care has been too good. But room in side looks dilapidated and toilet wears look of abandoned. Tariff is extremely on higher side and staff at payment counter seriously reqire behaviour training input as to how to handle customer. In sum up nursing staff are very passionate and caring that is one soul satisfying factor.

This rating is for the poor management of ICU patient attender. The management expects 24x7 presence of an attender. The same thing goes for meeting the consultant Dr. at ICU. There's no fixed time for them to come. There's only a time period around which they are expected. At times they are on time, at times 2 - 3 hrs late. And whenever one asks for approximate time of arrival everyone in the hospital seems to have been trained to give one specific answer - "Dr is on rounds, will reach soon". They can't foresee what all basic consent signatures are required and when. They will expect a person to be there as and when they call. Only if a little thought could be given, things could have been managed easily, without making the life miserable for a patient's attender.

Registration process to taking out medicines from pharmacy is very worst management system. They have very advance technology in treatment but in management they are following olden days methods. This makes sick even healthier person too.

About Dr. Sara V Thomas, KMCH , Coimbatore I visited with Dr. Sara V. Thomas at KMCH, Coimbatore, because I've had a sinus headache for a while. She performed an Nasal endoscopy on my first visit and reported that there was no obstruction on my nose and there were no issues. She gave me a medicine for a month and asked me to visit again. I properly had the medicine and not completely recovered. and I visited again on next scheduled date. She underwent another endoscopy and advised that sinus surgery be necessary. I wasn't sure. She indicated there was no serious issue, no obstruction on the nose, and no need for surgery during my last appointment. However, she insisted on having surgery after taking the medication for a month. When my parents asked her to get better understanding "whether the blockage will be cleared after surgery, or it will regrow again in future". she replied "I’m a doctor, I know. It won’t block again for sure". The response is hardly courteous in and of itself. and even after surgery, I still have a daily obstruction on my nose, difficult to breath and it cause headache. I decided to have treatment because of the headache suffering. Got admitted and She did surgery. They put some cottons inside my nose to stop the bleeding. The following day, when they removed the cotton, I experienced severe headaches along with pain in my forehead, left ear, and eye. After giving me medication for a week. no fruitful outcomes. For almost every day, I suffered a lot. When I went to see her again after a week (After surgery), I asked her advice, to which she answered, "I don't know, I didn't do anything on ear/eye and forehead. I performed my duties and finished the sinus surgery effectively. You can examine your vision for headaches and eye pain”. However, my question is why didn't you mention this prior to the surgery? Is this the right way to respond to a patient who has accepted surgery and believes in you? Every year, I get my eyes checked, and everything seems fine. What should I do next? Should I see another ENT expert instead of you now after surgery? Although my headache was not decreased, I came here to have treatment. She didn't even properly respond to the patients after the surgery, and she wasn't ready to accept culpability. I spend around 1.5 Lakhs for this useless treatment, 2 days admitted in hospital and consulted 4-5 times frequently based on their requests. Totally waste!! Very poor response. A financial mind. Worst treatment.

Very very pathetic. Treatment is good. Dietery charges are high. Doctor told discharge by 4pm. And they told me to pay the bill. I paid it by 5 pm. But till 7.30 pm they didn't gave me the discharge summary. At the time of admission it was very difficult to get the room. They tells all the rooms are full. But this is the situation. If they gave me the discharge summary I will be vacating the room by 5.30 pm it self. But till 7.30 I have to be there. By this time they could have cleaned the room and give to the other patients who are waiting for the room.

I actually wanted to give 0 stars. One of the worst hospitals with pathetic staff. Waiting time is too long. Doctors don't spend more time with the patient. Also they don't accept the scans / tests done in the recent times in other labs, may be their motive is money. For new patient registration they are taking 2 hrs - they are still 20 years backward with old style of working. No co-ordination among the staffs. For measuring BP will have to wait another 30 mins. Then finally after one hour they will allow us to visit the doctor. Doctor will just check for a minute and will not explain anything clearly. One of worst hospitals in today's modern world. You can visit the hospital if you want to waste the whole day and return with frustration. If you want satisfactory treatment please visit some other good hospital.

My 16 months old child was rejected for admission in the hospital in a doubt that he might be covid positive for which the before day very famous pediatrician of the hospital consulted ...they didn't kept the exposed doctor in isolation..he continued the practice very next day..then why are you accepting the case in op and not as in patients that too when brought in critical condition....luckily we saved our child as there are other good people around us..

I was happy to visit one of the major hospital in TN. However my first experience was very disappointing. We visited to do a MRI test referred by Aravind Eye Hospital. The staff has given appointment for next day 10:30 am. We were at the hospital 10am to avoid any delay. In spite of an appointment they insisted us to wait until 11:30 and finally the MRI started 12 pm and completed around 1:15.. initially we were told to pay RS 3,500 as MRI charges, finally we ended up with an additional 3,500 total RS 7000! Then we were asked to wait 4 hours for the result. After 4 hours when called they given time for result 10:30 next day. What a pathetic service!!

Not recommended for general medicine, I had a high temperature and visited the hospital by 8 am. After registration I was told that doctors won’t be coming to OP till 12.30 and the nurses asked me to reach emergency ward. (You’ll have to get admitted to enter emergency ward.) I was totally exhausted and couldn’t stand so paid 2k, admitted and got the first aid. Emergency ward is not so clean. After glucose and some injections they’ve asked me to go OP ward again to get consultation. The same doctor on emergency ward could have prescribed tablets or what ever required but NO. you’ll have to wait for few hours to consult the doctor. Felt exhausted just to consult the doctor.

Felt grateful when my daughter gave birth to (Normal Delivery) twins under the supervision of Dr. Renukadevi in the year 2019. All, the Doctor and the staffs were so supportive and gave their best. Whereas I have got admitted now in Sep 2022 and got discharged the very next day in the same condition but spending Rs. 30000/-. Clearly money minded it is now. Very disappointed, as we waited to make an admission and pay cash in Emergency for about an hour. It was not because of the rush/crowd, but both the staffs have gone for a tea break. Think if this is the situation in Emergrency and wat about the rest.

I went to this hospital as Visitor on 7th Oct 22. This review is general one on Facilities. i) I was able to find car parking only at the extreme end. But there was no battery car to reach the hospital. If battery car available from Car Parking it will be helpful. ii) In Canteen, card billing is very slow. They have so many procedures after the card payment, they note down reference no etc. They should simplify the process. iii) Below are food items I ordered and price list mentioned for reference. 1. Pongal-Rs.50 2. Tea-Rs.18 3. Milk-Rs.25 4. Poori-Rs.50 5. Roast-Rs.50 6. Meals-Rs.90 7. Variety Rice-Rs.50 iv) Canteen billing area is crowded during breakfast and lunch time. Two persons are billing currently, it is not sufficient. v) After billing, if we go to the self service counter it is very crowded as well and Roast order was delayed. Person who billed after me got Roast because he navigated through the crowd. Please introduce Token No so that who bill first will get first. vi) Carry mask while going to Hospital, otherwise you need to get it at building entrance by paying Rs.5 per mask. vii) Outside the hospital it is very difficult to cross the road as there is no traffic signal. They should ask Coimbatore Corporation to install traffic signal. It will greatly help patients visiting the Hospital.

Basically, it is a listed company. Multi specialty hospital with all facilities/treatment provided. Have visited this centre many times for different purposes. Very vast hospital and big one in Coimbatore. Royal Care could match this size, may be. They keep adding rooms in the existing building. Have a few branches in Coimbatore. Ample parking. Medical stores are properly managed. Billing is done at many of the places. Major third-party insurance is offered. Their canteen offers good food at reasonable prices. Two are there. Gift shop, snacks shop, dress shop, ATMs, Ayurveda spa, etc. are available. Biggest issue the room allocation. You need to plan a few days before and get a reservation. Getting room on the date of visit is a troublesome one and will end up in deluxe rooms, that too after a waiting time and with some reference. For a days visit as an outpatient, go early. Otherwise, you can't beat the crowd and end up at the hospital till evening if you have a blood test and / or scan to be done. Overall, well managed and efficient hospital.

Very worst service in cash counters. Long waiting time for more than 40 min for single billing. The persons in cash counter also very rude and they simply say system is slow. Also, after long wait time during billing they say card not accepted and asked to love to next counter. Again I have to wait for same long time in the next counter. Why the hell they can't display that before like only cash accepted. Though doctors are fine because of these cash counters and pharmacy waiting time, we hesitate to approach kmch.

Treatment and Doctors approach towards patients are good. But waiting period to see the Doctor is terrible, most don’t follow any appointment system, files from other department gets delayed.. Seems hospital management intentionally wants to keep the premise crowded so their in-house facilities like hotel, coffee shops gets business, for them patients health is last priority. Have to spend whole day for a 2 min discussion with Doctor.. Management should take some steps for improvement?

All diseases are treated in this hospital. Hospital hygiene is very good. This hospital is constantly undergoing new construction work so the public is facing some inconvenience. Three restaurants are operational. The most expensive restaurant operates on the sixth floor. The hospital is always crowded. The biggest drawback of this hospital is the parking space. By 9 am the parking lot is full. So we can park our vehicles outside in unsafe conditions. The hospital management should correct this deficiency.

You're in safe hands! There are more facilities available at various medical department. But there's lot more improvements required at hospital.. - We went to hospital for an Emergency pain. On 1st instance they are not provided any proper diagnosis or medication. Instead of that they directly sent us to doctor OP. There we have been waiting for an hour to see the doctor. After waiting sometime we fought and changed and visited 2 other Doctors. After 1 week of time. We again diagnosed in a local hospital properly and found that there's a severe Emergency treatment required. This is one of a worst case.. We were so tired of this... Hospital needs to improve their facility thru egovernanvce.

I won't complain about the hospital, management, and treatment. Everything is okay. Waiting time is high but we understand that it'll take time to treat all so we should come earlier or wait some more. But what happened today is not fair. The staff in the ward decorate their doors and rooms. But the emergency patient is waiting. They should plan to engage and treat them, right? Is this the right way to make the patient wait for their decoration? If no patient they can decorate or any 2 people can decorate and others can check patients. Please consider and do the needful. So it won't happen again. Thank you.

KMCH is not a government hospital. This note is for the staff who are working in front office, information services and in most of the service counters. 1. Treat the patient as a human. No respect at all, particularly in the registration counter. No proper instructions. Reason, we think, who pay or collect more money, service will be good. I referred many patients from overseas and heard the same feedback. Now, I have experienced myself. So left from the hospital without seeing the doctor. It shows clearly that no systematic SOP followed. You can see there is an exit sign, but the whole way is blocked. No proper Navigation, we registered and got Q number around 10.30 am, clinical assistant said, you will be seeing doctor around 5pm or after that time.. KMCH management must look into this seriously. Everyone time is important, and they give patients some respect for their time and their health. Treat your patient with dignity and respect with responsibility. It is very crystal clear and transparent that care is not important anymore. This 40 years of Healthcare system has not improved in patient handling and very much improved in technology and revenue generation and medical education. IMPORTANTLY, snail speed lift service which will not be helping for emergency and also elderly and needy patients. Only a few lifts are available, and waiting time for each life is around 4 to 5 minutes. Mostly occupied. It is very much crowded and has no queue information provided for patients. This is how we are getting information on the ground. Pls look into improving patients' experience and their well-being.

Nursing service is worst, nurses mostly handle patients hardly and cause injection injuries. Doctors mostly has ego and very bad attitude and they treat us rudely. They suck your money by prescribing more scans and tests and medicines. KMCH is modern money grabbing Mafia, go to other some other better hospital or otherwise lose your lot of money, time, dignity, mind peace, health with KMCH mafia

One of the best neonatal depts in the city. Drs Srinivas and Balakrishnan took good care of my child. Communicated well with us at each stage, that gave us confidence. Our experience with Dr Ramani Kanth (ENT) was also satisfactory. Dr Jayanthi Veerappan (Gynec) is caring and even became a motherly figure to my wife. Insurance processing team was professional and supportive. Only concern we faced with KMCH is room availability for hospitalization.

Good doctors and medical students also there for treat patient in friendly relation. Inside they have own pharmacy for their hospital. The billing section have queue for payment. Payment upto 1,90,000 in cash available, they accept credit, debit card payment also. Booking token for doctors particularly specialist are booking before 10 days and it's difficult to common people to consult doctor is drawback of KMCH. Canteen facilities are clean and hygiene foods are done well. Restroom for both gender in clean and also sometimes bad in it.

I have visited this hospital multiple times in the last 3-4months. I could see the management hasn't considered basic things which would affect user experience. Including food vendors (not sure if it's their own food department or external vendor). When you stand in a line to pay doctor fee, or a pharmacy bill, there was no proper queue followed and nobody regulates it. Have asked multiple times myself, to keep a queue stand but nobody responds to it, The same has been followed in a food court as well. There was no sufficient place allocated for the patient attendent, a lot of people accompanying the patient are standing in the lobby of wherever they find a place. And when it comes to car parking, we have to park the car far from the hospital which is more than half a kilometre. There were no provisions arranged to come back to the hospital. I have seen many elder people who drove their car have to walk back to the hospital, which is a very unpleasant experience. At least management would consider arranging a timely shuttle from parking to hospital.

One of the Best Multi-speciality hospital in South India. Highly equipped Laboratories and Scan. Well experienced doctors provide really great treatment. But the management falls only on Administration since need wait a long time for getting admission. The office staffs definitely not kind this could make the patients more sick since they are only personal who interacting with patients and Attenders. My personal advice please don't go to the Hospital canteen it's been very worse customer service.

A sprawling campus and continuous improvement is also is seen all around in this Hospital making it a very popular one in Coimbatore. However one disappointment I came across was in the waiting hall outside the dialysis centre and operation theatre, there are not enough fans provided, making it uncomfortable for the already anxious relatives of the patient ! Hope the authorities will look into this and do the needful.

To consult a neuro, appointment has to be taken. 2 ways to take appointment 1. Through online, which always says no slots available 2. Through mobile, no one responds if we call for appointment. Only during 3:00 - 3:15 you can call to book appointment. But that too 90% of the time goes in vein. Though very big hospital, facility to book appointment is not good. Nursing staff sometime not so kind with patients. Maybe due to doctor pressuring them??? No idea. But this time it was a bad experience and didn't consult doctor after reaching hospital.

Doctors treatment , their way of approach is best. But everytime the doctors assistant responsible for getting the patient file is delaying it. For every 15 minutes we have to remain it. Then only they are reaching for the file. In case of seeing 2 doctors, after seeing the first doctor sending the file to the next doctor is delayed sometimes it takes more than half hour. Then we have to go from floor to floor for asking them to send the file to next doctor.

A very sophisticated hospital, innovative doctors, especially in Cancer department and Pulmonology department. Dr.Bharathrangarajan , the chief medical oncologist, who cured my wife's Lymphoma problem (NHFL) is so smart and dedicated personality. Dr.T..H.Deepak, an interventional pulmonologist, attending my wife's bronchial asthma problem, is also very smart and dedicated personality is increasing my wife's survival period. Rest of the departments, lab tests, food court, rest room, etc., are very hygienic despite somewhat costly compared to other hospitals. The services of nurses are commendable but services of insurance personnel are poor in getting claim for patients, Delay in sending documents to head ins.offices. Parking facility should be extended. Separate traffic police should be placed in front of hospital highway to cross road .
