We
purchased
an
antique
necklace
set
from
Karpagam
Jewellers,
Cross
cut
road,
Coimbatore
on
Dec
25,2021.
On
Oct
5,2022
I
took
the
jewel
out
for
an
occasion
and
noticed
black
coat
covering
the
area
where
Kundan
stones
are
placed.
So
we
took
the
jewel
to
Karpagam
Jewellers
and
enquired
them
about
the
same.
They
inspected
the
jewel
and
suggested
a
polish/service,
As
we
don't
have
another
way,
we
agreed
for
it
and
gave
it
for
repair
in
their
shop
on
Oct
18,
2022.
They
said
because
of
Deepavali
the
jewel
can
be
returned
after
10
days
which
is
Oct
27,2022
(which
they
returned
by
Dec
11,2022).
At
the
time
of
giving
the
jewel
for
polish/service
they
never
said
anything
about
the
charges
and
when
the
delivery
was
delaying
we
called
them
multiple
times,
that
time
also
we
were
not
informed
about
any
charges.
We
were
only
informed
that
to
fix
the
problem
permanently
we
are
sending
it
out
to
where
it
has
been
manufactured.
Now
here
comes
the
interesting
part,
they
charged
us
Rs.11,881
for
polish/service
which
we
were
not
informed.
We
demanded
explanation
and
they
showed
split
up
of
the
bill,
that's
then
we
understand
they
billed
us
even
the
shipment
cost
which
is
completely
their
responsibility.
They
explained
that
new
kundan
stones
was
replaced
(which
they
haven't
asked
out
for
our
permission).
The
jewel
weight
has
increased
by
0.28
grams
which
we
are
not
informed.
Such
a
terrible
display
of
act
by
the
staffs.
We
had
to
pay
7300
for
the
extra
gram
and
the
stones
(which
we
don't
know
whether
they
replaced
originally).
WE
WERE
REALLY
FRUSTRATED
WITH
KARPAGAM
JEWELLERS
SERVICE
AND
WOULD
NEVER
VISIT
THIS
SHOP
AGAIN!!

out
there

If
you
are
looking
to
invest
your
hard
earned
money
in
gold
you
should
definitely
reconsider
buying
from
here,
because
there
are
lots
of
other
shop
out
there
who
are
dying
to
provide
better
service
whole
heartily"

efforts

put

for
responding.
If
your
staff
had
spent
this
time
and
effort
explaining
the
grams
addition,
service,
and
transportation
charges
before
receiving
the
jewellery
from
us
for
service/repair,
we
would
never
have
had
this
conversation
on
this
platform.
We
had
called
them
multiple
times
to
enquire
about
the
jewel's
status
at
least
they
could
have
informed
us
over
the
call.
Kindly
understand
that
we
were
afflicted
and,
I
find
my
above
comment
legitimate.
