Good things: They have decent service and nice music. The place had a fun energy and vibe to it. They had a valet service for car parking. Food was also good. We had ordered some onion rings, bao with mushroom poppers. Sterren beer and in cocktails, it was daiquiri and screwdriver which was decent. Can't go wrong with these basic ones. Overall, had good time. Not so good things: It's very small for the number of people it accomodates, it gets quite crowded. Their seating capacity is hardly for 20-30 people. So, you'll be mostly standing even though you reach by 7.30. Their reservations for the weekend start on Wednesday so, you can try your luck beforehand. Music was very loud for such small space

Good ambience , loved the cocktails and food variety of dishes available. Quick service and staff is very approachable love to come again So now let me tell you what I orderedz, lot of drinks and wings, and greek salad..i personally recommend wings., And a screw driver cocktail which is the best if you ladies are about to try..plz try this drink. The ambience is really amazing with dim lighting which is perfect for a resto bar . The food is overpriced and the quantity is limited . Taste of the food is really good . Desserts were good too .

Best vibe in coimbatore. No wonder this place is getting familiar. You could never carry something which is bothering you here. The food is so good. Special mention about the car parking. They take care of your car and all you need to handover is your car key, they will fetch your car when you are leaving the place. Enjoy your weekends here!

Why would you guys not letting people about no stag entry! If you guys are really hosting a party or a place mentioned as pub then this is reasonable, why would a restobar need a couple entry. I’m looking For it legally if there is a chance I’m gonna proceed with that!

Since we've heard that it's always full on weekends, we went on a Thursday Brunch 😂 obviously our experience was great with some very tasty food and drinks.. The ambience is as good as described and the starters were damn tasty. Not sure if I wanna visit on a busy day though!

Awesome ambiance and DJ. I can see the owner's and team passion is setting this up. On the day I visited there, there was just one beer. Why not 5 star - we were in house guest at CAG, After a long journey I wanted a relaxing drink, but local crowd control dress code policy apply, we were told what the policy is and had to go to the room twice. :)

Nice place and good food but on weekends don't go if you want to talk as music is too loud just for a pub. We had a group of ten but we would of stayed longer if the music was lower and better.

I absolutely love this place , made a lot of good memories and the staff are wonderfully helpful. The food is top class for the most part and they definitely won't cheat you on the drinks. I personally like it's probably the best place in Coimbatore to hang out and grab a beer. On the down side it's kinda hard getting into the place with a group of guys although I understand it's standard bar rules, I can't help but feel frustrated sometimes. The manager Gokul is also such a sweet heart and helps me find a table to ensure I have get in and have a peaceful time so thank you Gokul and thank you cavern :3 🍾🥂

Place was littt.. the disco lights were all over. We went on a Friday night, so there was a great DJ with Hollywood, Bollywood and Punjabi mix songs. The dance floor was filled and we all danced a lot. The vibe was great. Food was really yum too. Our service was taken by Mr Ajith Kumar. He is great and a very jovial person and took good care of the us and the guests very well. Should definitely check it out.

We 3 went for team lunch. Ambience was good, clean and neat. Food taste is good. Must try is combo. Don’t choose creamy mushroom shop aroma and taste is bad. All other combo food was yum..

I had been to this establishment last year and the service was quite good then. Today, I walked in at lunch time in dress shorts and a t-shirt and was told by the Manager that there is a dress code. Firstly, there was no one dining/drinking in this establishment at the time (not a good sign anyway) and then to be told about some ridiculous dress code so impolitely was disappointing. You need to train your staff and management about basic customer service skills! Ridiculous attitude towards a customer! I'll spend my money elsewhere. A disgruntled customer from Australia.

Cavern - is a go to place for when partying around coimbatore. I see it as a leisure dining spot and party space. Been there on a weekday for lunch. Few family and friends crowd. Ambience: the dark themed restaurant and comfy sofa and seats. The bar setup and interiors are 🔥 Menu and food : the menu was easy enough for anyone to understand, and had a multi cuisine. Soups, starters, main course and dessert. Everything was good and and portioned well. Bar: During my visit we had limited option and tried rum.. they could have restocked whiskey. Must try : Roasted pumpkin soup ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Pasta ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 (not sure with the name we ordered) Nasi goreng ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5/5 Fries - decent. Not the best Curd rice with chicken ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 (This is a must try. Curd rice was super yummy and went too well ) Curd rice with Gobi also was good. Must try their signature cocktails. You can ask the bartender for the details. Overall: Cavern is a small resto bar/ leisure restaurant/pub (depends on how you take it) . The place can accommodate around 50 people at a time . Try to make a reservation during weekends, as it gets too crowded. They have got valet parking as well. With friendly staff, great ambience, amazing food and drinks, this is a must try in Coimbatore. Price is pretty decent.

Travelled all the way from end of coimbatore to the other end for a disappointment to hear " Only couples entry" i don't understand why for a for a Bar & kitchen you need to be a couple. Worst experience and misguided advertisement. Hate to recommend or come back.

Teetotaler Review: (Maybe I'm too sober to notice all i have mentioned) Been here twice and would NOT go to this 'cavern' ever again. Management overall is kind but are all noobs while managing the place.. A (fully redeemable) entry charge of 3k is alright, ONLY IF I can redeem it.. Very few bartenders are present and they deny mocktail/food orders as they're too busy with cocktail orders, which renders MY cover charge useless. After a long long while we got one starter, which was bland 🙃 Music was utter nonsense for any standard, and this was for a Saturday night. This is what would come to your mind when they say low-budget DJ, if that's what he calls himself (Maybe, maybe you can try to enjoy it if you're drunk). Mood-killer Again, rendering my 'full' cover charge, useless. Speakers are good with bad acoustics. Safe ambience (as entry is limited to payers) Money spent, unwisely.

We celebrated some of the craziest night here. Its a place for everyone, you can sit and drink like in a normal pub, but there is also a dance floor with good music for club lovers. The atmosphere of the place is really very cozy. Ajith Kumar took care of the table for us. He was very friendly and has the smile on his face which is much required in this industry.. Coming to the food part its really very amazing.. We really enjoyed a lot... it was really worth coming to this bar.

Came here while travelling through Tamil Nadu and needed a place to chill for 3 hours. The staff were extremely friendly. Had the Naga wings, Thai curry and rice, pad that, chicken noodles and chilly chicken. All the food items were extremely well done but the Naga wings were my favourite. As for drinks, they served a pretty good martini and for non-alcoholic beverages, definitely try their ice Milo which was made so perfectly

Worst experience to spoil your mood . First time entering here , the managers and bouncers treat you as though we are slaves , they get your cover charge and say there is no table and everything is booked . When you enter most of it is vacant . We have no choice to stand in the bar counter , service was very very bad . It took so long for the staff from the counter to take order itself . Food order didn’t reach on time . We had to just leave the place as it got crowded further than the permissible limit. The food was requested to be parcelled . That also didn’t come even after 10 mins of request .we just had to leave . No value for money .

Great experience, very forward place. The frontline staff make a great impression. Shout out to Vivek and the f and b manager. Customer delight, sorted and agreed to my long pending bug bear on cover charges. Vivek spoke with management and sorted the same out. Very proactive, invited me back in and showed me a great time.

It was on the Saturday night . It was not my first time in Cavern. Despite a reservation and empty tables ,we were made to move over to the bar counter to eat the food even after letting the serving guy known that we will be leaving sooner. Guess cavern has started to treat the regularly visiting people better than the fortnightly visitors like us and some people does feel the same . The attitude towards us was rude and things weren't had properly organised.

The place is arguably the best among clubs when it comes to the property. It is classic and beautiful. The private dining area was very secluded and ideal for a small gathering. Exclusive and great ambience. Food is spotty. Good service by Ajith Kumar. We felt very safe when he's around... and delicious food. Loved the place and will visit again.

We went to the pub last evening, since it was a sudden plan, we called them and asked about the dress code that we were wearing casuals, what they told was since it is a week day it’s not a problem. Once we get to the venue, Mr. Vivek the bar manager, who stood at the entrance and asked about the dress code and he was so rude and behaved disrespectful manner. We were instructed by phone attender that being a weekday this time we will be allowed without shoes. When someone from the team informed then he allowed us, but we walked away because as we lost the mood of spending time. We hope this would never happen.

Nothing seems to be perfect like before. Drink or food both… Sarakorga they used to give much better. Got stiffed by them. Such an awful end to an otherwise nice time I had there. They charged Rs.1500 for single entry claiming that the balance is refundable but when I asked for the balance..they refused claiming the money paid via GPay cannot be refunded and instead asked me to take home liquor for the balance. I was dumbfounded needless to say.

Absolutely great bar located near Gandhipuram bus stop. The ambience, décor and seating is awesome. Seldom have I ever sat in a high chair that was actually comfortable. The lighting is great, and the liquor collection is actually really good for a bar in Coimbatore. The DJ had somehow read my mind and played a superb mix of rock and pop, both classic and modern, with some country and jazz thrown in. I had the pork ribs, they were served with an absolutely delicious steak sauce. The Korean chilli pork was pretty good as well. I had a few glasses of Sula Red, it was smooth and dry, just the way I like. To finish off, I had the flavored créme brulée. Was kind of let down by it, it wasn't much more than regular pudding. The crowd was pretty good for a Tuesday night, mostly couples, from the upper strata of Coimbatore society. I heard they make space for a dance floor on weekends as well. I really enjoyed my dinner here.

I recently visited Cavern, the service was fantastic , food was great while the music could be enhanced, it didn't detract from the overall experience. What stood out the most was the availability of the private room, providing a peaceful space to have conversations. It was a great way to balance socializing and enjoying the energetic atmosphere on the dance floor whenever we like it. Overall the place offers a great option for those seeking a venue where they can chat with friends and still have the option to immerse themselves in the music and crowd as desired.

I visited cavern after a very long time. It was always a chill out place for me and they take good care of the guests. The last time I visited, Ajith took care of our entire lot. Would definitely want to come back here and have fun again.

Cavern is a delightful experience. With a dim lit ambience, the place has cordial staff who is ready to help you place the order. It’s a must visit; especially for their chicken popcorn and varied alcohol on their menu. Do visit on Wednesday nights for a crowded bar with your favourite music

An excellent choice of place for those looking for combination of great food, music, ambience and mocktails / cocktails. Despite it being busy on a weekend, we received wonderful services. Food is delicious and comes in good quantity. Drinks are true to their names and descriptions. Music is awesome and of optimum volume, one can have pleasant conversations without straining the vocal cords and yet enjoy the music 😄. All in all its an amazing place where one can barge in at the end moment, even without reservations. Had a lovely experience 😊 (always better to reserve your table in advance wherever it may be). Although it is situated on the ground floor.

When I entered the restaurant for the first time, it was such a beautiful and lovely decoration, then after that when the food came, it just made my mouth water, then I decided it should tell people with the help of rating that it is really very much good restaurants❤️❤️❤️

Ambience is done well but acoustics wasn’t great not set for conversation if they have a band playing. The team can’t reduce volume either. You can’t hear people talking in same table for that matter one has to yell at the waiter to confirm the order Experience isn’t great. Orders came out late and took 30 mins to get a fresh juice on sunday afternoon when there is less people hanging out.
