    This is a smaller family restaurant is the middle of the tourist area. Service was good, wait staff spoke perfect English, also the menus were in English. My smoked salmon was light and not overly covered with a sauce. Although this restaurant is at least a 4.5 it is not a 5/5. The cod shrimp pie was rich and flavourful. I would come back again.

    This was a great closure to our time in this beautiful city. Really, the best restaurant in the best city in Portugal (that we visited). Our two servers were so authentic and wonderful and added to the experience. The food was divine. So many flavours, textures, just wow. The vibe was utterly romantic and classy with just the right hint of old Coimbra.

    The service and food was excellent. We’ve been in Portugal a week now, and while all of the food has been good, this has been our best meal yet. Excellent value for the experience.

    Such a lovely place. We were lucky ones and catched a table without reservation and ate some really good steak and desserts. The team on site was so kind and friendly- was really a lovely evening.

    Such a great experience! From our welcoming host, to our nearby table mates (Coimbra natives with nice recommendations for our next stop in Porto) to a wonderful meal (I had the grilled sirloin…perfectly grilled/seasoned) and an excellent bottle of wine. This is a keeper I highly recommend!

    Nice atmosphere, very nice staff, very attentive that everything was good. The food was really good and the ice cream was really smooth and delish. Loved that they were playing F1 on the tv!

    We ate here on our last night in Portugal what great send off; the best meal we had, we put our faith in the staff and they guided though a great meal with excellent wines. You can not go wrong eating here.

    very nice restaurant and the service was impecable. the food was delicious but the 3 monasteries desert was absolutlly stunning. best desert i eate in Portugal.

    Good looking restaurant, terrace is nice and protected from wind. Staff very friendly and professional. Food was good but a bit overpriced. In any case I recomend without hesitation.
