It
is
a
structure
made
up
of
several
stones,
between
which
there
is
a
passage
about
5
meters
high.
This
passage
may
have
served
as
a
collective
necropolis
during
the
megalithic
period.
It
is
located
at
the
top
of
a
hill
that
dominates
the
landscape
around
Cabo
da
Roca
and
the
vast
region
that
extends
to
the
north
of
the
Serra
de
Sintra.
The
access
can
be
done
following
the
road
after
Peninha,
a
path
to
the
right
of
the
road
will
lead
to
the
hilltop
where
Adrenunes
is
located.
Easy
access
walking
15
minutes
on
that
path.
Marvelous
360°
views
of
the
Atlantic
ocean,
cabo
da
roca,
pena
palace
and
morrish
castle.
Recent
excavations
done
there
revealed
human
made
foundations
on
the
structure,
but
the
Anta
itself
is
a
natural
monument
that
probably
was
used
due
to
its
particular
shape
and
location
that
overlooks
the
westernmost
point
of
Europe
(cabo
da
roca).
