It’s very unappealing on the outside, not even a half a kilometer away from a huge graveyard and doesn’t look kosher at all. We didn’t even bother because we felt unsafe as it was so far away from anything and anyone. Literally just slap bang in the middle of nowhere, terrible location.

I loved it. Got to Colesberg late and tired. The gentleman who manages the place was friendly, patient and helpful. The room was very clean and top notch. And good place to sleep over.

Very clean bathroom and room. Did not find the warmwater bottle as advertised. No extra blanket for the single bed. No table or bench to put a suitcase or anything on. Had to work from floor. No direction finders on the road or at the gate. Gould not find on google maps. Had to call for directins

Easy to find. Looks shabby on the outside but it's alright on the inside. Equipped with all the basics you'll need - it's great value for money! Shops and restaurants are close by. Residents in this small town are friendly and helpful.

Lovely rooms however situated in a scary location away from civilization. Still safe though, enjoyed our stay, clean, well stocked and homely.

Drive slowly to guesthouse. Try if possible to arrive during the daytime, signs to guesthouse not very obvious or easy to spot. Besides this, very neat, nothing too fancy but for a great price.

👍 Driving through the most of Colesberg I was a bit worried about the accommodation I booked online as a stop-over between Johannesburg and Cape Town. I was pleasantly surprised by this charming, old guest house. All the furniture were old, wooden and antique. The room had a ton of space, I basically...
