Driving through the most of Colesberg I was a bit worried about the accommodation I booked online as a stop-over between Johannesburg and Cape Town. I was pleasantly surprised by this charming, old guest house. All the furniture were old, wooden and antique. The room had a ton of space, I basically had my own one bedroom house plus a safe garage. The area around the Toverberg Guest House was also cute and had character. There were also restaurants nearby. The fireplace came in handy and it was amazing. I also appreciated the fast and friendly service. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and wouldn’t mind stopping over again. Thanks!

The best place to stay in Colesberg. Super pet friendly with a lovely shady patch of grass for dogs. Jurie is a brilliant host and makes one feel very at home. Very safe with off street parking. The aircon was a godsend with 37 degrees summer heat. During loadshedding their wi-fi works. Thank you Toverberg!

A wonderfully quaint stay. All the charm of a period apartment but with modern Richard that make it a real gem. 20meg WiFi, extra charging points everywhere, modern bathrooms, even special touches like ground coffee and a plunger. As someone who travels for a living, I was very impressed. Highly recommended.

A definite 100% recommendable guesthouse. Very friendly owner, going out of his way to help. Very, very comfortable unit, with everything you need.

We always stay over when on our way to CT. It is such a lovely place and it is always clean. The heaters in the bathrooms are a life saver in winter. And it's pet friendly 🙌

Clean rooms and bathrooms, spacious, comfortable clean bedding. Jurie is a helpful and friendly host. There are heaters in the bathrooms load shedding permitting of course. My only gripe is the absence of a proper kitchenette. But otherwise as a sleep over for a night it is perfectly fine.

Brilliant hospitality. The communication was clear from the start and the check-in process was effortless. The unit we stayed in had everything one would need for a short (or longer) stay. It was spotlessly clean and homely. We felt at home straight away. Book this place with peace of mind.

Comfortable and clean stop over in Colesberg. Convenient location (Walking distance to restaurants nearby). Friendly host who met me and showed me where to park my motorcycle (secure closed garage). Rooms are similar to many in this part of town due to the historic buildings .. I find the rooms quite cramped although comfortable and a small bathroom. But suited what I needed as a comfy bed and hot shower .

Large one bedroom apartment. Fully equipt kitchen, outdoor patio. Shower and bath. Very neat and clean. Comfortable with a lounge set and variety of TV channels. Owner is friendly. Walking distance to a restaurant.

We stay over at this location in route to Cape Town 1-1-22. The location was great, the service from owner superb. The 2 bedroom apartment was quaint & cosy. Just hat we needed for a good nights rest 😄
