This was fabulous. We have come to Italy many times but didn't know we could have dinner like this... A new restaurant run by an ambitious family, proud of their heritage and with a Sicilian very well-skilled cook who had had his final training in Tuscany. And of course with the best wines to choose from. In short: great food, perfect wines and lovely people who make you feel very welcome and at home. We love the place and will definitely be back to discover more on the fabulous Tuscan kitchen.

Great experience overall. Very nice service and delicious food. Don't make the same mistake we did, and chose nearby Portanova just because of some views of the city. This restaurant is way better in every way.

Stumbled upon this place after checking in late to our hotel down the street. Although they didn't speak much English, the staff made us feel like we were family coming home for dinner. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious.

I’m always very skeptical towards restaurants in Italy, as they are very hit or miss, in my experience. This one is very much a hit. Bistecca alla Fiorentina was fantastic as were all the other dishes we tried.

This restaurant not only has amazing food and good service, but an incredible regional authenticity. We had some of the best bistecca I’ve ever had and that says a lot having lived in Florence for over a year and visited many times over. The primi piatti and antipasti was fantastic and the wine selection was unique. Our waiter did an excellent job with assisting with wine pairings and the overall experience was very pleasant. They are a new restaurant but I’m very hopeful this will be a long lasting restaurant.

Lorenzo was a great host! Very friendly and patient with us, he explained the history of the castle and the town. Food was great, the steak was phenomenal and the wine paired with was top notch. Definitely recommend tbis.

We ordered the grilled beef, risotto with pumpkin which were those orange dots on top, dessert sponge cake with tangy and decadently sweet citrus sauce, spritz and hugo for drink. The food were well prepared, but unfortunately all seasoned above my salt-tolerance level. Not becoming a fan of the popular Spritz and quite enjoying my Hugo.

Great food. Not to sald perfect tasting. People will go for the place on top of the wall but the food is better here. Staf is good nice and welcoming. We always rate the tiramisu and after ordering one we need to order a second. That good 9,5 out of 10 for tiramisu! The cookie is not needed for a great tiramisu.
