Another FANTASTIC stay at Residence Inn in College Station! Staying here is always quiet & peaceful. The staff and management are always very welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind. You can tell that everyone truly cares about making your stay the best it can be. The rooms are always clean & well maintained. The kitchen in the room is cute with everything you could need to cook a meal or reheat your leftovers from one of the many restaurants nearby. I brought my dog this time and she really enjoyed the stay as well. Plenty of places to take her on a walk. Breakfast offered plenty of different options each morning including cage free eggs, Chobani yogurt, strawberry waffles, many juice options, and even brie cheese! Thank you for another great stay! Looking forward to coming back soon.

This place is very good in terms of the service, location and rooms. The one drawback is that there are not many options in the breakfast menu, and the choice of breads is limited to white bread and a couple of bagels. There are, however, oatmeal, waffles, scrambled eggs, or boiled egg options as well with options of cereal and fruit yogurt, too. Having been to many residence inns or Marriotts and even Hilton group of hotels, felt more options could have been provided. For pet owners, please note that there are no pet stations, and you may want to carry your own supplies (waste bags, etc.) for walking your pets. But, the managers and the front desk folks are very friendly and helpful. The Rosa's Cafe adjacent to this residence inn is also a great TexMex place. This residencee inn is just a 7 min drive to A & M university at the College Station. Definitely recommend the place.

Update: I submitted this on the Marriott Website as well and the only response I received was a duplicate copy of the hotel bill from the hotel and an email from Marriott Customer Service simply asking "how they did resolving the issue". Literally nothing was done. Adjusting from 2 to 1 star We were scheduled to stay Thursday to Saturday but left on Friday evening after returning to the room to find ants in our bed and all over the common area. Our backpacks, personal blankets, and suitcases were also covered and we had to clean them off before using again. Upon looking at reviews now, this seems to be a recurring incident that the property has not adequately addressed. When I told the front desk what was going on, she was very apologetic and you could tell she was interested in moving rooms for us. However, the bug infestation was the final straw in the general upkeep of the hotel. It seems to have been recently "remodeled" but I think all that means is a fresh coat of paint and therefore, we were not interested in changing rooms. She mentioned the hotel manager would likely want to speak to us regarding the experience but here we are 72hours later with no call back, refund, or attempt to make it right. The other notable issues were: -Peeling wall paper in the bathroom exposing moldy drywall -Water damaged window frame that had fallen apart and was hanging

Absolutely loved our stay here. The cleaning service is phenomenal. We travel for a living and this has been our best hotel yet. The owner knew my dog by name and the staff overall was very positive, informative and attentive. Highly recommend this as your stay of choice!

Don't write many reviews but I booked here due to high rating. TV didn't work. AC thermostat didn't work and wouldn't move off 66, luckily I like it cold. Had to wait 15 minutes in lobby for desk clerk to return to check in. Asked for a water at check in and was told I could buy one. Not a big deal I understand they are running a business but haven't been to a Marriot property in some time without a free water. Considering I had to sit in lobby waiting, didn't seem like a big ask. Gave 2 stars because room was clean.

A very nice Marriott hotel to stay at. The staff is very pleasant and has great customer service. The breakfast is normal with eggs, sausage, bananas, muffins, yogurt and pastries. The Hotel is very close to Texas A&M and stores and restaurants. Perfect for families or parents and friends visiting College students. I definitely stay here as my first choice when in College Station. ENJOY!

The establishment was little aged but very clean. Few items were missing in the room but friendly staffs tried to correct the situation gladly. Free breakfast was not great but adequate. Overall good value and I would stay here on my next visit.

Standard Residence Inn fare as far as rooms go. I'm a Titanium member, so I spend a lot of time in Marriott to say the least. Nothing to complain about, nothing to write home about Staff here is excellent, as is the location- very convenient to TAMU. Manager and staff go out of their way to make an enjoyable stay.

BEWARE!!! This hotel has bed bugs. I always strip my sheets to inspect the bed. The first sign was the blood stains on the mattress and then I found a quite a few clusters. I asked to get moved to a new room and the bed showed no traces of bed bugs but the sheets had blood stain on them… The room was really nice though, love the mirrors and how the TVs can rotate between living room to bedroom. The breakfast was good. Front desk service was great. Just really turned off by the bedbugs!

Great experience, fantastic front desk service. Front desk staff went above and beyond to accommodate a health issue request. Room layout was great with a small table to eat at in the room. One head maid was the nicest. Perhaps she was just having a bad day. The rest of the maid staff was wonderful, kind and courteous. The morning breakfast was always fresh and hot. Good tasting food. Area kept very clean. Indoor pool is also very good. Gym facility is well maintained. Laundry facility is excellent with a full 45 minute wash and dry. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone staying in the College Station area.

Great place to start for a weekend or extended trips. Tennis and basketball courts on-site are great. In a convenient location, with plenty of dining options that are walking distance.

When I arrrived the mirrored doors on the closet were off the track, fortunately, they were easy for me to fix. The bigger issue was that the back panel of the shower was completely unglued opening like a page of a book. I contacted the front desk and maintenance quickly responded but said it was not going to be a quick fix. The front desk offered to move my room the next day as there would be rooms available then and told me when I arrived back from my conference to come to the desk and they would give me my new room key. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Instead, I was told that all of the rooms had been booked up online the night before and there was no where to move me. They should have "booked" me into one of those rooms so it was not available. For my "inconvenience" I got 10,000 points which equates to less than one night. Things happen and I would not have been upset if I had been moved as promised but this was really poor customer service.

Top of the line is accommodations and friendliness! I would definitely stay here again, and I would definitely select another Residence Inn based on the excellent treatment we received here. If there was a tiny area of improvement, I'd say it would be the morning continental breakfast. Otherwise, 2 thumbs up!!!

Nice little place to stay. We are in town for a football game and stayed there which is about 2 mi away from Kyle Field. Uber's in the area are hard to get. Just as a heads up. Lots of good restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend the steakhouse across the street. It was fantastic. And if you want to catch a game there's a B-Dubs right across the street as well. Staff was extremely hopeful and nice

Great proximity to the campus, but service was lacking. Forget about your Marriot status, it doesn't help.

Nice, clean and large rooms. I was disappointed there was not a hair dryer in the room, no USB ports, and the TV worked intermittently. They sent a tech to fix it but it still didn't work. The shower was amazing. The water was nice and hot. Great water pressure. Wgen we checked in the staff was amazing. When we're checked out the staff was a bit rude but did answer our questions. Over all nice hotel.

From the time we got there to the time we left our vacation at this hotel was enjoyable. The level of professionalism and knowledge from the staff was better than anywhere I have ever stayed. Location was close to TAMU approx. 8 min drive to stadium as well as multiple locations to dine in or take out from were in walking distance. The pool was warm. The fitness center was adequate and we used the laundry room to wash our items to limit me having to do laundry at home. The lady who was in charge of the continental breakfast was always on top of things and so pleasant to speak with. We ended up staying in a one bedroom suite with a king bed as that is all that was available at the time for our last minute trip. We loved the room as it had a kitchen, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and dishes. They had a hairdryer which I really appreciated. There were outlets throughout, so we were able to plug in our devices in different areas. There were no usb plugins, but luckily we had our cubes. The only thing I disliked, but I am not going to deduct a star for was the pull out couch. It was not comfortable at all, but my kids slept there and they didn't complain. The AC was also loud for those that have trouble sleeping, but I can't remember ever staying at a hotel and the ac was quite. Luckily I can sleep through the noise. We were also close to the elevator and I don't recall there being a lot of noise. The only noise I could hear while I was in the hall was someone's TV, but once I was in my room it was quite. Can't wait until next time as this place will be my go to location from now on!

Very very disappointing and upset. Checked in, in the evening and room was not very cool but cool enough and cooling a little. Tried to take a shower but had to wait 20 mins for hot water. At 100a woke up sweating because room was now 80 degrees. Swapped rooms to a smaller room with working AC. Called at 10:45a for late check out. As Titanium we are guaranteed a 4p checkout. They told me 1p was all they could do. Then called me back 30 mins later and advised I had been checked out already and was not allowed back to my room. Marriott has continuously gone down hill and this is just another sign they don’t care about their customers loyalty.

Room was fine. Breakfast was the worst I've ever had at a residence inn. Some kind of sliced spicy sausage that even I didn't like. Not just on one day either. We stayed twice with several days in between. The second time, we went next door to Rosa's and got Breakfast tacos.

It's a solid Residence Inn with everything you'd expect ... clean rooms and public areas, nicely appointed spaces, friendly and accommodating staff, etc. The suite we were given (on points) was weirdly located in an inside corner of the hotel. Instead of 2 windows out into the sunlight, there was one that faced into the hotel wall. LOL. The price was right, but it's strange they put us there with so many open rooms available. The room was a little dark. The fixtures have fluorescent bulbs. Some of the fixtures poorly lit areas of the room. It really needs upgrading to LED lighting. The public areas were clean and the breakfast was standard fare, plentiful, and fresh. The hotel is located close to dining, shopping, and of course Texas A&M campus ... GO AGGIES!
