Probably the Best local Bavarian beer, made with love and traditions. Visit small shop for the souvenirs and the unique brews, and visit local restaurants for a fresh Faust beer!

Whilst visiting friends in Frankfurt they surprised me with a tour round this terrific small brewery. Miltenberg is a wonderful place for a visit anyway but add in a tour of the brewery and it becomes a must see. I have a little German and a little knowledge of brewing which meant I understood a reasonable amount of the German-only tour. My tour guide did speak English though and was happy to take questions from me from time-to-time and chatted with me about his love of English beer! The brews on offer (you get to sample two or three different brews during the tour, the unfiltered brew was exceptional) are varied and very tasty. The Faust beir is sold only in a relatively small area (c100km radius of Miltenberg) so you'll not find in in many bars – unlike the major brews like Becks or Warsteiner. I got a lot out of the trip, photos are allowed at all points too and for non-beer lovers the views from the top of the brewery storage tanbks over the rooftops towards the river Main are wonderful. Beer in the shop afterwards is very cheap (compared to English prices at least) at around 85c a bottle. There is a decent variety of glasses and other merchandise on offer too. Lovely people and a trip well worth making.

A place to stop to buy the best beer from this area ! They have a beautiful shop with a lot of present ideas !

We visited the Faust brewery, and got the experience of a lifetime. Thanks to Michael who showed us the interesting and special process of making the beer. We tasted different types of amazing and special beer. Many thanks to Michael and the brewery for the hospitality... we highly recommend coming and drinking...
