Lives up to the hyperbole that surrounds it. I've never had better ribs. The onion rings were about as good as they get: crispy, flavorfully breaded, fresh, and the onions weren't overcooked. I had their imported ribs and the seasoning, cook, and tenderness were all top notch. My wife had one of the lunch combos with a half rack of baby back and a cheddar and jalapeno sausage. Service was swift, friendly, and well-informed about all aspects of the menu. Ours was with it enough to steer us away from an oversized portion of onion rings that may have kept us from fully enjoying lunch. The taster portion was sufficient for two people with entrees on the way, although they offered two larger sizes for bigger groups. Expect an informal standard country BBQ establishment ambience. It's comfortable, but you'll be fine in shorts and a t-shirt.

Stopped in for lunch, absolutely delicious food. My wife and I split a platter that had baby back ribs chicken and pulled pork. Plenty of food for the two of us and that was prepared and tasted excellent. Love the different barbecue sauces that are available each one of them was unique and tasty in their own way. We'll be back for dinner. If you haven't eating here before I highly recommend it. Update 2-11-23 Our waitress came to the table yawning, and was absent most of the night. She even came by once and said "I bet you think I'm ignoring you" Aside from that most of the food was excellent, I especially enjoyed my Cowboy steak. One of our two racks of ribs however was petrified.

Had a 5 star, fabulous dose of nostalgia tonight. Sarah was a ray of sunshine, the local Latitude IPA she suggested was amazing. When I told her to leave off the beans & slaw, she cheerfully recommended a replacement side. My full rack of baby back ribs was exactly as I remember from when my grandparents started taking me to Michelbob's in the early 90's. I haven't been to Naples in 13 years, and this restaurant was the first place I've recognized. I'm in town to celebrate the life of a lost loved one, Sarah & Michelbob's gave me my first smile all day.

Michelbob’s Ribs Restaurant was a fun stop after our soccer tournament in Naples. They can handle large parties (ours was 30-adults and kids) and they handled us all outside easily. We had one server who was assigned to us, he did a great job! All the waitstaff were very nice. The inside and outside seating was comfortable, the bathrooms were surprisingly nice. Plenty of free parking. The food was good, especially the ribs, they were outstanding!! The grilled BBQ chicken was really good, the pulled pork was a bit dry on some plates and too moist on others, but the flavor was there. The milkshakes were great and the desserts were brownies with ice cream and veeeery good. When in Naples go by and see them. 👍

Excellent! Definitely lives up to all the reviews. I love BBQ so I have tried many restaurants. This place is great! Everything was delicious. I recommend the pulled pork and baby back ribs. Fall of the bone tender and full of flavor. There bold and spicy sauce is on point.

Really enjoyed the theme and artwork at Michelbobs. The front of the building proclaims “Best Ribs in America” Apparently these people haven’t been to Texas or St Louis. Newsflash, restaurants should NEVER make such proclamations especially when it’s not true. I ordered the baby back ribs, they were practically meatless and almost as dry as beef jerky. The sides were decent. The sever brought me a couple bones of spareribs, these were much better. The service was excellent, it made things much better.

Very nice local place to go and have excellent ribs or sausages. I believe everything else is good as well but i tried different types of sausages and ribs and i loved it! Been there few times and every time had amazing experience.

Just as good as I remember it having been around 30 years ago, which was the last time I was there. Food was FANTASTIC! Our server David was a sweetheart! It was definitely worth the drive from the Fort Lauderdale area! (Yes, we drove from the east coast just for the BBQ!

I am from Miami, if I could I would drive up here every week for this old American traditional BBQ joint .it has spectacular 60’s İnterior with lots of oldies that you don’t even find at antic shops anymore. Service and stuff are super nice and down to earth . I went on happy hour but I can not imagine this place turns into long waiting and jam pack on regular hours. BBQ must try , full rack , also their angus beef combo is price killer.. thee is no way you can get the deal even you buy the rod meet. I particularly liked their own , house made BBQ sauces. Also try apple pie . It is not available all the time they said , I guess I was lucky .. SUPER NICE OLD , REAL BBQ PLACE …

Happened to stop in on Tuesday, they have a baby back rib special. Great deal for lots of tasty food. The beans were especially good. Ribs were good too, not sure if I would say best in America like the sign says but, very good!

Michaelbobs is the best ribs in the area. While they are a small size and small portion of meat, the taste, flavor, tenderness, and texture are all 100% so so so good. The ribs are a star item, but the food is good no matter the main course or side item. Atmosphere is also great. Parking is a little tight but always adequate

This was my first experience. The ribs were very good, but the portions were smaller than expected. The sides included baked beans (good), slaw (good), garlic bread (very good), and onion rings (good). The waitperson told us not to order the potato salad. The service was good, but not great. Our waitperson was trying to handle two different sections, which was just too much. It was a good first experience. I'll be back to explore their very extensive menu.

Commercial BBQ, nothing special. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t anything to rave about either. Just a decent commercial bbq joint comparable to Rib City.

Baby back ribs were a bit dry and tough. I wanted extra sauce and was told I had to buy a whole bottle. Sausage was THE BOMB, best I've ever had. The cheddar jalapeno packed so much flavor (it was not spicy whatsoever). The snap, the smokiness (which was not overwhelming) was perfection. I ordered to-go. The sides come in rather small plastic cups. I thought maybe If I had dined in, the side portions would be bigger. Baked beans were wayyy too sweet. Potato salad was delicious. Coleslaw was fine nothing special. The peanut butter pie tastes exactly like Reece's it was sinfully good. If I were to order again I would just get the sausage.

The food was good but not the best in America (ribs). Had about a thirty minute wait for a table. Waitress very good explained everything ,answered all questions. Food took about twenty-five minutes to get. Prices are good for the amount of food you get. Ambiance is nice, like a BBQ place should be.

Love love love this place. The atmosphere is fun, there’s great service, and delicious food. The ribs are wonderful and the onion rings are a must. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because the sliced beef was terrible. It is so unfortunate because everything else was awesome. The beef was just not even edible …even after drenching it in the sauce. I should have took a pic prior to putting sauce on it. It was so dried out it was starting to feel and look like old leather shoes. I am shocked they even served it. I’m not sure if that’s a normal thing but I would go back and steer clear of the sliced beef. Again I still love this place and highly recommend it!

Four of us went last night. Excellent ribs and steak done perfectly. Onion rings did not disappoint. Sports on the TV and little to no wait. Not much more I could ask for.

Wow. I was so impressed with the great tasting food served here. The sign on the building claimed that Michelob had the America's best ribs. They are certainly pretty close as the ribs were fantastic. But the steak was what really blew us away. It was the best anywhere. We will be back soon, for sure.

Came here with my mom and I will say their ribs and sauces are really good. Very delicious and satisfying. Portions are great, waitress was witty sincere and accommodating. I only gave it 4 stars since my moms roast beef was really bland. But my steak was great and the sides were all good. I will definitely be back.
