Scammers! They ask for 200 euro security deposit. CASH as they “don’t have a card reader” and then they steal your money at check out because apparently we “smoked” in the room but i never smoked in my life.

They ask for a deposit of 200 euro in cash (with no bill,black money) the only rule is that you can't smoke in your room. We where with 4 people (nonsmokers). We came to the room for 4 hours just to sleep. In the checkout they put ashes on the windows and took a photo to take our money (no previous fotos with prove that their where nothing) . End of story police came and they didn,t want to admit we lost all our money and respect for these guys. Very bad service also so either way not good. Womand behind the bar was playing the story "im just an imployee" Shame on.

The staff behavior at the reception was horrible, also they took 200 euro’s from us as a deposit so that we not smoke in the room. So we didn’t smoke, we were there for half a night. Now she is accusing us of smoking because she saw some ash from the previous visitors! Be careful it is a full played out scam! Horrible experience never again!

This was our first time staying at a B&B. I've heard good things so we tried it. We were impressed! It was clean, staff were friendly, and the bed was very comfortable! Breakfast had something for everyone and was reasonably priced. Car park was also reasonably priced and safe! Coffee was available to purchase from the front desk early morning. We would definitely recommend staying at this hotel!

The room was simple and clean but unfortunately the ventilation in the bathroom won't turn off. Reception said it's because of the regulation, but it's still too loud. We couldn't sleep. Either the ventilation has to be changed and invest in a low-noise machine or it has to be thoroughly cleaned, because it's full of dust and it might be causing all this noise.

We booked a room for 3 people online but when we arrived the receptionist said asked my friend to pay 100eur in cash as a caution because she brought 2 people with her and he insisted it has to be in cash. He was also rude to my friend when there was a misunderstanding about the room being already paid online or not. The hotel itself is quite nice, the room size was ok for a short stay.

Overall a good experience. At check in the staff was not very friendly but that might have been the language barrier. Her service was abrupt, "fill in this" "ID-card"... no please, thank you or smile. She didn't even explain the parking situation. (I asked for an explanation the next day, and the other lady was very friendly.) Rooms are not very spacious but you have everything you need and they are clean.

We stayed in a family-room with a bunk-bed and double-bed. The room was comfortable for us , we are two adults and two children (15 & 7) plus a fully grown Labrador. Only thing that was missed out was a water-cooker. Last but not the least there is an A/C in the room which does NOT work to make the room cooler but can be used only to warm up the room; the only disappointment during our stay.

We had to pay double the price because we had a newborn with us and therefore had to book a family room with 4 beds, even though the baby was sleeping in the bed with us. There was no option to pay for a baby crib for a small extra charge. We were told that this was for fire safety reasons - but they could have simply noted the baby's name in the system. In the end, we paid as much as we would have paid in a 5* hotel and only got a budget hotel with a small room and no breakfast. In addition to that, the staff was really unfriendly and we weren’t able to get into the parking lot we paid for, because the parking lot was full. We would not recommend this hotel to any family.

The room itself was small but fine for a one person. However, the staff behavior at the reception was horrible. They thought they are meant to interrogate guests as if the guest is staying for free or trying to trick them. Must look into the staff's behavior towards the guests. Secondly, no iron facility is available! The WiFi connection kept breaking up. Which is a basic facility at every other hotel.

Fair price , good location(if you happy to walk a little bit, shops and bars 20 minutes)The parking is 10 Euro per day, on street is free. The room is standard.

the room was not clean and they stole my phone charger.. YES PHONE CHARGER image how low you should be to do that. Not happy about the stay.

The hotel is new, nice and clean with excellent parking facilities. The only complaint I have is that the breakfast sortiment is on the lower side. If the breakfast would be bigger then I would definitely give this hotel a 10

Good nice modern rooms, breakfast room is also modern and gets resupplied regularly. nice that do not have to check-out at desk when leaving. room was getting new bed sheets every day as well as towels, i minor complain is that there was a dead bug stuck on the wall in the bad room that was there before we entered the room on day 1 and after the next day the cleaning team didn't see it to clear it off the wall (i removed it my self on the last day with a piece of toilet paper). 2 thing's i wish the room had was.(the following section is not a complain but advise) 1, a secure safe for things like a laptop/tablet, passport to store when going into the city for safety and privacy. 2, a drinks fridge (does not have to be big) but something where you can store water bottle's or cola cans in will be nice. and i more thing there was only 1 power outlet per bed (phone charger) and had to charge my smartwatch and toothbrush at the table where there only 2 power outlets taking turns with the other 2 people i was with. next to the bed in inside the small cupboard add 2 extra power outlets of the 2 main beds will be a great addition to the room and future proof the room. the paid parking at hotel €10,- per day is a little big ask when its not even a fully gated area €2,- per day is more acceptable for only a parking lot with barrier(pole) and code. and for a fully gated area €5,- up to €8,- is more acceptable in my opinion. That's it everything else was great and will use the hotel again in the future.

the rooms are clean and look great. there was a large popart pic of the city of Cologne on one wall. But the rooms are bit small.

Sorry, but very disappointing! The personal, the manager are quite horrible. I never felt so bad in a hotel. The rooms are too small as they seems to be on the picture of the hotel. The service is poor. It is those kind of hotels, where the manager thinks, that because of the good position of the hotel in the city, she (in this case) doesn't need to put an effort to be kind to the customers. I hope to never have to deal with this hotel at all.

It was not within the nearby area of the Colon center. You have to use public transport to travel from the hotel to the city center. It is extremely minimal and every service priced as an ancillary revenue.

We were more than satisfied and will for sure come back! Friendly service, super clean & cosy room, wonderful breakfast.

I chose the Hotel during my business trip and my decision was 100% right. I enjoyed clean and comfortable room, facilities and good breakfast. After business day I had a good rest in my room and I will definitely return there again.

The service at B&B Köln (Oskar-Jäger-Straße) was fantastic. Noor in particular is very helpful and kind. Really enjoyed my stay there (was my 2nd time staying there), and I'd highly recommend for others and I'll definitely visit more. Cheers :)

Very friendly staff, big & clean rooms and really comfortable bedding. Breakfast was standard but taken care of. Will repeat my visit.

Clean and good size of the room, good bed. Check-in and express check-out was easy. TV with good picture and enough channels. Location was good for me, as I had a concert nearby and it was quite easy to get to the centre by public transport. Pricing was on the lower side for what you get. Good value for money if you just need a clean and no-worries place to stay. Didn't use breakfast or ask for extra services, so I can't comment on that.

Rooms we're very clean. Service at the desk was good. Working personal at the breakfast counter should learn better English. The we're some difficulties with writing down our chamber numbers. Parking facilities are very good and clean. This hotel is situated near the centrum of Cologne with public transport facilities in the neighbourhood.

Generally a basic hotel. I come here every week for work, but the prices can rise during weeks when they are conferences in Cologne. Once I was given a family room. I wanted to save the sheets by sleeping in one of the bunk beds, but there was a sticky stain on the bed frame. I am not sure how they missed that spot while changing sheets. I ended up having to sleep in the queen-sized bed. I have also found hair that is not mine on the towels. But otherwise, I am okay with the hotel. The buffet was a little disappointing though, for the cost of 10,90 EUR.
