We have been there a few times now as a family and with friends. This is always a little experience for children. The children particularly enjoyed the petting area with the goats, rabbits and sheep. It costs nothing and is extremely well maintained. Next door is the huge park with the great playground. We really enjoy coming back here again and again.

I've known the so-called "Hermi" for ages and I think the zookeepers are doing their job quite well! For those who don't know, months ago, unknown people simply strangled and killed all the chickens... When it comes to safety, you have to step up your game. Otherwise, the animals make a normal impression in my opinion, the path to the petting zoo is fine, you just have to watch your little ones so that they don't leave it.

A very, very beautiful, freely accessible zoo, there is something for the whole family. It's not that big, but it's really great for a Sunday walk with the family. The animals are very trusting even though there are a lot of people here every day. It's fun to come here, everything is very clean and well maintained

I'm glad that we're generally offered something like this in Velbert. However, kept very small, few animals. They are not allowed to be fed, as is the case with some other animal enclosures. Clean, beautifully designed, the direct connection to the park is a nice alternative.

Three ponies live in the animal enclosure. There are also goats and sheep in the enclosure. Domestic pigs and two donkeys are also in the enclosure. Chickens and ducks round off the whole thing in a wonderful Herminghaus park and invite you to go for a walk with the family and children.

Super nice park with animal enclosures. A great excursion destination for young and old. The animals have a nice and clean home. The children's playground above the animal enclosures is also a dream. There is also an area with water here. This makes children's hearts beat faster. Just a little too hot in summer as there is unfortunately no shade in the water area. So please apply sunscreen to children properly and equip them with UV clothing. Otherwise the park could be a little bit cleaner. Every now and then you see some rubbish lying around. But otherwise clear recommendation.
