Beautiful outdoor swimming pool at Wolfsee (part of the 6 lake district in Duisburg Wedau). The large lido is located in the middle of the lake district, which is lined with forest areas. There are plenty of parking spaces available, but in really warm summer weather it can be difficult to find somewhere to park your car. There are enough toilets and a restaurant in the swimming pool. The forest area is also ideal for a long walk at any time of the year.

3€ per person and you can enjoy the beach or a park. The best thing of the Freibad is you have a proper shower room and changing room. It is also not a long walk to the car park or bus stop. I think the water is also nice here and there is a slide for kids as well. There are some fast food, alcohol, and ice cream for sale at an acceptable price. Mostly it is a very family-setting area and pretty comfortable.

The employees are really nice and the outdoor area also has its charm. The only thing I'm always a bit picky about is the showers and toilets. You should definitely bring shoes. Most of the showers didn't work or were extremely cold. A renovation of the showers and toilets would do the outdoor pool a lot of good. Otherwise I am very satisfied

Very nice facility. Lots of sand and plenty of grass. Water slide playground. Toilet clean. Food was ok too.

A beautiful place by the lake to relax! There is a sandy beach, changing rooms right on the lawn, a kiosk... so everything your heart desires. On weekends and very hot days it can get very crowded, but the outdoor pool can't help that. Otherwise, no negative experiences have been had so far.

Its very clean beach, with a great area to sit and enjoy either under the sun or in the shadows of the trees. The facilities on the weekends looks overcrowded and long lines forms for everything.

It has a vey nice view and is clean and quiet that you can feel the wind blowing through your hair. Last but not least it is accessible with bus, which is a very good opportunity.

Crazy, stood in line for almost an hour today. Now we're finally in. We rented deckchairs, 2 euros per person. So you can endure it in the shade. Beautiful swimming lake in Duisburg Wedau.

Called ahead to see if they were open, they said yes. Went there with a friend, "OPEN" sign flashing as I walk up, and they tell me it's not open until tomorrow. Beyond disappointed.

A wonderful outdoor pool where you can pay in cash and don't need online tickets..👍Because not everyone has an ONLINE ACCOUNT..🙃It was a great afternoon with our grandchildren..A lake that was separated for swimming.. You could cool off wonderfully.💦The lawn is very large. There was a playground and a small pool for the kids to splash around in..⛱🌝A snack bar where the prices were still relatively low. At the end of the day everyone was very satisfied. .We had a cozy day at the lake and in the lake...😎💦🤽‍♂️🏊‍♂️

A wonderful leisure pool on the lake. There are enough berths, even in the shade. If you like, you can lie on the sand right by the lake. Unfortunately there are numerous pebbles in the water, which makes the path somewhat uncomfortable for sensitive soles. The water is clean and the whole area looks well maintained. A shisha bar opens in the afternoon and cocktails are also served there. Dishes like currywurst fries are available there all day long. There are also plenty of free parking spaces available.

Place is good for a hot day. Its maintenance is average. Water is also not very clean. I think its same everywhere in Germany

Great place to enjoy the sun and swim in the lake! There is green and sand and you can chose where to stay. They do sell beers, food, etc. you have to buy a ticket on your mobile before getting in (unfortunately this page is only in German and was somewhat not user friendly).

Disgusting toilet

Great place for sunny days. Kids' playground, pretty good sandy beach considering options in the region. Great sights of foresty lakes and plenty pf room to set your picnic blanket and take a nap. Note that access is usually not free but not pricey either, and I would say the food options could be wider.

A very nice outdoor pool. The lake is very clean and the sunbathing areas and the beach area are also well maintained. The price for a day ticket is rather cheap compared to other outdoor pools at €4. I know much more expensive outdoor pools. The only negative point: when the weather is good, it is difficult to get a parking space despite the large parking lot.

Really nice as I wear a burkini and haven't got any rasism yet so that's good the staff are friendly. There are showers too but only with cold water it's really nice but not great

Best place to visit during summer in Duisburg. There is Swimming area ( Freibad) and you can also sit near by areas without paying. Its really beautiful. To take a break from your daily stress and busy life. Its the best place.

Nice lakes, many options for parking (even if the most obvious are occupied from the early morning), forest walk. Excellent opportunity to enjoy summer weather in Dusseldorf area
