Very good baguette, croissant, scrambled egg, and camembert. Average coffee. Hard-boiled egg you can do without. Dry-aged crepe, with a topping other than ordered, tasted like microwaved after 4 hours of aging. The hot French-style sandwiches are impressive though. The furniture, less so. For this old-fashioned small town, it's a nice complement.

I came here because I had to wait for a train, and I knew they had delicious vegan croissants because my partner lives close by. So, I thought I'd just sit down, have a coffee, and get some work done. Everything was fine until another girl sitting across from me was asked to move because she was working on her laptop, and new customers were ready to eat breakfast. The waiter suggested that she ask whether she could sit at my table, probably because I had just pulled out my laptop a few minutes earlier. Naturally, I accepted the request, and she sat down at my table, continuing her work. About two minutes later, the waiter was back at my table, now giving her the choice to either leave or put away the laptop because "it's a breakfast place and not a place for schoolwork". Long story short, I protested, and the next thing I knew, he was telling me that I could leave as well. I had just started drinking my coffee, but I didn't really want to stay at a place where I am not welcome, especially when I am paying for service. Of course, it's understandable that they don't want people working on their laptops if they prefer groups of people having breakfast together. However, I would have preferred if they made that clear from the beginning and not only decided to enforce this rule whenever "better" customers arrive or if someone doesn't agree with the waiter's opinion.

Good place for early meetings. Usually we go there with friends before someone is leaving, because it is near to train station.

Delicious meal and coffee for breakfast. Their Croissants and Baguettes are so far the most delicious- fresh from the oven! If you're planing to go here in the weekend, I suggest you to make a reservation first.

The croissant are really good. Well france pastry… but I found a hair in my food. I don’t know why it has become a cultural thing in Europe, people working in restaurants are not wearing gloves or protect the head.

Montmartre is beautiful. You kind of dive in a different side of Paris. There are many small shops and people selling their paintings. The view you get from sacré cœur is amazing. But you have to be aware of pocket thieves and cheaters up there.

This place is a everytime is breakfast time place. The coffee is in comparison to other coffee places not that good. When I was ordering my first breakfast at this place I really was shocked how much plastic wrapped stuff they are putting on my plate. There was butter plastic wrapped and jam in plastic. Looked more like a breakfast you can get at a hospital than a breakfast in a French like café. The stuff is really slow and you are not quite sure how to order. They always act a little bit strange. There are some elderly people who get their ordering right away, maybe because they are coming everyday. On the same street there are like 5 places where you can get better coffee, better (and environmenr friendlier) breakfast and the stuff is friendlier. Would not recommend

You can't afford it to travel to Paris for a real croissant? Go, get one right here, they are the very best you can buy IMHO.

The "Baguette" was half of a breadroll, potions of everything super small. Pretty cramped inside.

I was in there just minding my own business (the coffee is kinda bad btw) and getting some work done when this waiter who was like 80 asked me to leave an hour after i had initially started working — in a manner that was so unbelievably unfriendly — because apparently this was a place for „eating breakfast as opposed to doing school work“. After I questioned him, he offered me to sit with a guy sitting at a table behind me, who nicely agreed to me doing so. About 2 minutes later the waiter seemed to have changed his inconsequential mind and rudely told me to put away my laptop or leave the cafe. I chose the latter option and stood up, already borderline trembling with anxiety. The guy at my table was then asked to leave after he objected to how the waiter was treating his customers or the „rule“ he was trying to enforce — which, judging by the randomness of his actions and the lack of disclosure beforehand, appeared to me as more of a mood. Anyway, the guy decided to leave as well and I ran out of this place ,thinking of how i had never felt this unwelcome in a public space. You made me cry, that‘s all i have to say. The place still smells nice tho, but I would never eat there again, because besides the fact that the staff made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, the space isn‘t even that cute either. Like, in one corner there‘s just this creepy life-size pirate staring at you and I think it‘s weird that they color-coded the place in this piercing red that isn‘t easy on the eyes at all. Not ambient. Not cute. Wouldn‘t recommend. I assure you you‘ll be better off eating at a place like „Teilchen und Beschleuniger“ or „Dreiklang“ <3
