An unexpected and very pretty place in the already great Volksgarten. Donkeys and pigs, goats and goose - all gathered on this farm in the middle of the city.

Great farm. Here you can also get close to the animals. They feed and pet. Great activity for young and old.

Great family place with feeding animals, playground, coffee and cake, shop, and mini golf. Something for everyone! A beautiful circular route past the animals where there are also rabbits, geese and ducks. You walk out into a lovingly tended herb garden.

There are some animals here like donkeys, goats and pigs. It is very nice for small children. The area is not large, but since it is located in the Südpark, you can take a long walk after your visit, or enjoy a coffee in the nearby cafe while the children run around in the playground. A great place when the weather is nice.

My secret preferred place in Dusseldorf. The animals are amazing and super cute. A gem in the city and it's for free. Nice cafe è and minigolf

First of all its not a zoo. It's more like a small farm. Second, the Google timings are either outdated or incorrect. I reached there by 4.25pm and they closed the gates. It was written that at 4pm the animals are taken out and at 4.30 they return but the start or entry time is written there as 10am (I don't know what it means). But we played in the park, which has few things to keep the child engaged.

First we climbed the carrots and leeks in the playground and conquered the tractor and then visited the donkeys 🐐 and 🐑, as well as several other animals in the farm and the trip was nice. The clean restaurant with delicious cakes also made an otherwise dull day nice.

We were there when the company was closed and therefore I can't say anything about the restaurant. The rest: There are a few animals there that cannot currently be fed because too much food was given out in the past.

This place is amazing! My son loved it. This is for all ages trip. You can enjoy your day there. Also, You can see and interact with all types of pet animals and feed them with Zoo purchased nourishment that mad for them. I highly recommending buying coin grains of feed as you can get up close and interact more with the animals.

Clean petting zoo, animals well taken care of. You simply buy feeds for 1Eur and have fun feeding the sheeps and goats!

The employees take great care of the animals and gardens that live there. Entrance is free, but if you want you can buy food for the animals in the small farm shop next to it. You can see the different animals on a short tour. Ideal for families with small children. There is also a cute playground and a great café on site, where you can not only have a great breakfast, but also little things like tarte flambée, etc. There is also a large area attached to the farm with a lake and water playground. All in all, perfect for a family trip.

I give 3 stars because our son enjoyed the playground area. But there was no one available for petting, the feeding machine wasnt available. Our son was disappointed that hw was not able to pet the animals.

The Südpark farm is a nice idea to give city kids a false impression of country life. Show enclosure with overcrowded restaurants and a full playground. Tip: Dear Düsseldorfers, just take your children and your bike outside the city - the little ones can learn more from the farm. Not recommended on nice weekends.

Please update your opening hours. Our little one was super excited to see and feed your animals. We rushed from far away. Arrived at 16:00, and the animals were being put away. There was also a sign in the store saying food was not being sold. For adults this is not a problem. But the little ones get really disappointed. Google hrs state that closing time is 17:30.
