Been here a few times and the service was amazing every time. The food is on point and arrives at the table very quickly. Staff is welcoming and does a great job. Perfect place for a cricket enthusiast as there’s an awesome collection of memorabilia of past cricketers and tournaments. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Parking can get tricky as there’s limited underground parking but most of the time should be able to sort a space on the street itself.

I recently visited this restaurant 🏏 and I must say, the dishes were quite delicious. However, I couldn't help but feel that the prices were a bit on the higher side. Nevertheless, the place is a great spot if you're looking for a good selection of beer, cocktails, and other liquors. The waiter who served us was quite friendly and attentive, which made for a great dining experience. The overall ambiance of the place was quite nice as well, with a lot of cricketers' 👍 photographs, signs, and historical items on the walls. It really added to the atmosphere and made for a memorable dining experience. While the prices may be a bit high, I would still recommend this restaurant for its great selection of drinks, friendly service, and unique decor. If you're a cricket fan or interested in history, 👌 this is definitely the place for you. Overall, a great spot to enjoy a meal or drinks with friends or family.

Went to The Cricket Club after many years and it looked and felt just the same! The food was good the atmosphere was great and the staff were really friendly! My Thai salad was delicious as was the pasta my son had. The burger was average though which was slightly disappointing however the Shepard’s pie was lovely. Would recommend a visit 😘

The servers here are just wonderful and have great memories it seems.We enjoyed the evening. Must try! Menu is perfect, something for everyone. Service was awesome! What a great place! Parking is there(some cars cannot enter to the car park). Car park is next to the entrance.

I have always enjoyed the food here.... from the soups to the mains.... to the cocktails... so good food. Good Kids menu too.... Good Service.... Brilliant home grown coffee! the Pavlova Desserts are a must. The Pies.... esp the lamb option is to die for.... (named after a cricketer who isnt so memorable Dilhara).... even the seafood option was great. Good food... and brilliant atmosphere if your into cricket.... some wonderful and rare memorabilia hanging on the walls!

Overpriced garbage! Drinks were so watery and couldn’t even finish. Drinks were so overpriced at 550-600 LKR and tasteless. Meal Portions were not even enough for a 12 year old child. Meals that we ordered costs around 1500-1850 LKR which are supposed to be prices in 2025. We tried pasta, prawn and lamb 8 portions. Don’t know why this place has a good rating. Once we ordered the drinks after waiting for so long we had to go downstairs and bring the waiter to order main course. Even though the place was not crowded we had to wait nearly an hour till our food was ready. Even though you accidentally step in to this establishment make sure not to order drinks which are the worst compared to the meals in this place.

The place was great, and I highly recommend it. I visited after 4 years, and it looks just like it did before. The service staff is very friendly, creating a good atmosphere. The food was a bit expensive, but I still enjoyed spending time there.

Ok if you are a cricket fan, only European dishes with references to cricket. Coming from Europe, the dishes quality was so and so, hence the 3 stars only for me. Local Lion beer was on. Service was ok, price for 6 persons 22740 LAK (69$).

I ordered a seafood pie, it tasted ok but came weirdly deconstructed. The menu says you can either get the pie with puff pastry or mash potatoes, confused I asked the waiter to explain and he couldn't. Eventually I asked for the pastry and the mash too wondering why a pie wouldn't have puff pastry. I realised once it came cause the seafood filling came separately, with an empty puff pastry on top. I normally expect a pie to be baked with the filling in it, not to come in 2 pieces. Just seemed like the kitchen was being lazy. I ordered a chocolate fudge dessert that was supposed to come with sliced fruits but the fruits didn't show up either. Also the staff seemed a bit lost and confused.

Go on a date or with a bunch of friends, it is a perfect place to spend some quality time. Excellent food and ambience. Don't forget to try the "Allen stir fry Lamb". That's one of the best lamb dishes I had in colombo and my all time favourite dish. Had been visiting this place since I came to SL in Dec 2017. Trust me I always end up ordering this very same dish. I just can't get my head and heart out of it.

We stopped at the Cricket Club on our trip to Colombo for Lunch. The owner is super friendly and spent some quality time with us discussing her family, background of the restaurant and gave us suggestions for the food. The food was good. Definitely a good place to stop by for lunch/dinner.

I came to cricket club after 7 years and what made me so happy is to see RAJ!! So amazing to see him, he has been working in cricket club for so long, such a nice person! We get great service from Raj and I can’t be more happy to visit Sri Lanka and see this soul of man! We had lovely Sri Lanka cocktails, that was a Sri Lankan Aarack with passion fruit! My All time favourite meal is the chicken pie with the pastry on top!

There are lots of choices here. But can't get an idea of the foods with their names. All the foods are named by Cricketers’ names. Nice place for cricket lovers. But not worth the price. Most of the drinks are having lack sugar. Good place for western style food seekers.

Me and my husband used to frequently dine at Cricket club, the quality of food used to be really good and worth the price. Today we came here after about 2 years and the quality of food has dropped to rock bottom. The food is bland and there is no flavor. Highly disappointed as the food was not worth the money. I’m not sure if it could be because of the country situation if so I would suggest to adjust the menus accordingly to the ingredients that are affordable and available to them. Look forward to a better standard in the future

Service is excellent for me. My daughter enjoyed drawing while waiting for the food, and it was delivered fast as well. The taste needs improvement. The Marinara needs more "kick". They should try The sausage from Kids menu needs improvement if it is home made. Otherwise, they should source the chicken sausage from Cargills.. (just suggesting). Burger is average. Price is reasonable considering current situation. Total bill for burger Meal, 2 pasta, 1 kids Meal, 2 beer large glass, 2 Ginger beer and water is 8300 rupees.

The ambience of this place would definitely win the hearts of cricket lovers for sure. A great place to go have a drink with a bunch and enjoy a good match on screen with some delicious food. The mixed grill platter was a decent portion, and the food tasted delicious. The meat was cooked nicely and the sauce matched the flavours really well. If you are a cricket lover looking for a chilled evening, this might be a good choice indeed ❤

Wonderful cricket themed pub/bar/restaurant showing live sports. Filled with cricket memorabilia. Inside, the oasis cum courtyard opens to the elements for a cool breezy feel assisted by large fans plus air conditioned rooms aside and upstairs. On my first visit I had soft drinks and the 'Border' aussie style burger, named after the legendary Australian captain, filled with a good well seasoned meat patty, beetroot pineapple fried onions, fried egg, tomato, lettuce and sliced cheese. Well priced at just under 1000 rupees. Service charges do apply to final bill. The menu is VERY extensive, that's exTensive NOT expensive but I am talking slightly tourist prices but this is certainly not your average pub. The lovely Australian couple who run this place know their stuff alright. Over 20 odd years running a pub and I think they've got it nailed. This recently built (around 5 years ago I think) establishment was built with 200 year old bricks but with a modern finish. It feels like a step back in time but with modern busy kitchen and bar. Many touring teams have passed through and often let their hair down after a well fought match and left their mark on the walls inside. It's like a cricket museum featuring bats from Sir Donald Bradman, Gavaskar, Botham, Warne and many more.its worth a visit just for the memorabilia. Service is calm, attentive and professional with well drilled local staff overseen by the bosses keen eye. The hostess Gabby seemed to constantly check personally over her guests, take orders and have a chat. Background music was modern international favourites but I was there for the live cricket on the big screen behind the bar. Huge selection of drinks including happy hour specials and cocktail promotions. Local and imported beers and a big wine selection. Centrally located in a lovely suburb of colombo this place is a MUST for weekend drinks with the gang, a romantic dinner or a business lunch with a cheeky pint. Go see for yourself. I'm bringing my friends back next week when we return to Colombo. As this is only my 4th brief visit to this wonderful city, the Cricket Club Cafe is already my favourite pub in Colombo, perhaps Sri Lanka,,, but I'm still searching.!!! Give it a try.

Superb ambiance. But non alcoholic beverages are not good at all. But food is okay. Very very nice people owns the place. Food is decent. Would use it as a pub. But won't be using this as a spot to enjoy meals.

It was almost after 5 years I went to Cricket Club Cafe. When it was at Alfred Place i frequently visited but once they shifted to it's current place now it was my first visit. I wish to endorse the overall quality remains same. The service of staff, food and offerings I'm sure that maintain standards which I really enjoyed. It is a good place to chill or hangout with friends.

A great restaurant for cricket fans with tasty food, though prices are on the higher side. Inside, you'll find pictures of cricket-related historical moments and memorabilia. The service is friendly, and the architecture is beautiful. It's not your everyday pub but a fantastic and chill place to spend some quality special time.

We were wanting to arrange a surprise birthday party.. Not only did the birthday boy enjoy the suprise,as we had made the reservation the day before, the entire room was kept exclusive for our family and it was one of the best Celebration 🎉🎉🎊🎊 Not to forget to mention the wonderful 🏏 collection! Enjoyed the extraordinary food that was served..so yummy.. and the service is absolutely wonderful too❤️❤️
