I've been a fan of their food for a very long time. One of the only places that serves all types of meats amd seafood and fo far the quality of their good has never decreased through all these years. Looking for a delicious meal? Then I would definitely recommend ordering from them from uber eats or puck me. They have chicken, beef, pork, fish, prawns, crabs, cuttlefish and so much more and alot of verieties of curries. They do have a small rooftop setup to dine in which is a convenient place to just have a meal. Wouldn't recommend it as a hang out spot. But yet I go there alot just for their food which tastes absolutely mouthwatering. Prices compared to others in the market seems a bit high but its worth it. The portions are good and the food is to die for.

I paid 1700lkr for a large portion of black pork curry, potato, 2 paratha and rice with a drink. Food was great quality and the black pork was tasty with clove and curry leaf. Loved it and value for money given the portion.

One of the busiest food outlet in Colombo. Foods are really good and what I like best is that they got large collection of items for reasonable price.

I had heard about Praneetha but this was the first time I visited. They have a wide range of curries, both vegetables and meat based. We were allowed to serve ourselves rice and the veggie curries and they served the meat-based curries. There was a good selection of vegetable curries and we got to pick 4 and they asked us to serve ourselves however much we wanted, but to please finish all the food. The dining area is okay, there’s a very narrow stairway leading upstairs so not quite convenient. Parking is also tricky but manageable. But food wise, if you love a good rice and curry, it’s definitely worth checking out. They have so many variations of each kind of meat/ seafood; black pork curry, red pork curry, ambulthiyal, fish stew, white curry, devilled cattlefish, curries cuttlefish and the list goes on. The flavours are well balanced and satisfying. Loved the kochchi sambol that I served with the rice. I would eat from here again to try other curries.

Came here on our visit to Colombo after hearing so much about this place for its Sri Lankan food. All the dishes we tried were spicy and full of flavour. We did get here pretty late in the afternoon, so a lot of the food was a little cold. We had no idea how the ordering or pricing worked and were told to treat this as a buffet where we can pick whatever we liked, hence we assumed it was fixed price. When we were paying is when we realised each dish we tried was charged separately. Hence, we ended up paying 10,000 Sri Lankan Rupees for two people, even though we only ate tiny portions of various dishes. If you’re going here for the first time, please check with them about pricing, which will in turn help you order smartly. Apart from that we enjoyed the Sri Lankan food here.

I ordered to colombo 9.Very disappointed with the quantity of the food. And it took 1hr and 45 minutes to deliver.after all I paid rs400 for deli I asked for rotti and they send me a old fry fish I didn't asked for. I ordered 3 full potions different meals and non of them are full as in potion. Half potion of Babath is too small not even enough for one person. When I call the restaurant to explain to the guy. He's like I'm sorry sir no one is here it's close 😂. Btw I paid rs4600 for this amazing food. Lesson learned but never again going to order 🤗

Brilliant Sri Lankan lunch and dinner , lots of choice , clean and affordable! An institution in the Colombo rice and curry arena. They have maintained the quality of food over a long period of time to easily deserve 5 stars!

Really good place. One of the famous and greatest restaurant around Kollupitiya.They have lots of verities. Potions are big. delicious food. Quick service and great customer care service.value for money. Uber eats and pick me available. place is very crowded during office days. Parking isn't enough. That is the only negative thing they had.overall this is a excellent restaurant.

varieties of dishes. paid 1150lkr for rice with pork curry + some vege and a small bottle of cola. quite tasty but a little too spicy for me. dine-in seating upstairs. although on the pricey side (for local standard) but i think totally worth to try.

It's been a while since we tried the local cuisine, and PRANEETHA FOODS did us well! The service was equal to 5 star hotel! Everyone was super friendly and nice ans guided us on whats best 👌 The food was just the way we wanted...ALOT AND DELICIOUS 😋 Thank you guys We will be back for more Cheers

SCAM FOR TOURISTS - setting as 5 stars so tourists will see. We wanted an authentic meal for our final day in Colombo and we’re charged 10,000rp for rice and chicken. Our hotel, breakfast and 2 beers all combined were less than this for context. Please view low reviews so you do not get caught out the same way. Food was cold and very poor quality. Do not go to this place - several other amazing places to try away from lying cheating people. Very disgusted that these people are willing to put Sri Lankans culture and nature on the line to make a quick buck. Again, do not attend. Extremely disgusted and disappointed with both the people and food - people more so.

I visited this Place to having lunch on sunday. Because One of my friend suggested this place. That place was small but they have big variety of foods. I tried pork Rice and Curry and My Girl Friend had chicken rice and curry. There was more than 30 Vegetable dishes, we can select 4 Vegetablea and They have good veriety of meats also. But food was not too tasty it's average. That staff is very friendly and prices aslo reasonable it was Rs650 for each . I definitely visit again. Thank You.

Good food, expensive for even tourists I had food with me husband. We ordered around 4,000 rupees. There were mutton,chicken, rice with pork curry and roti with curry. I thought price will be so cheap as per local food but no…. In fact they are charging us for buffet in vegetarian dish and you can add more rice if you want…..

Ordered a chicken mix fried rice via pickme and the cost was 800/=. And this is what I got delivered. A few chicken pieces here and there. It tastes like plain rice.

Food is So bad 😝. I ordered pork yellow rice from Praneetha Foods via uber eats. They had given only Pork & Dhal with rice. I paid more than Rs.650 for that. Rice also very bad & very dry. I think that rice cooked by yesterday or day before yesterday. Not today. Tasty also very bad. Don't buy anything from this place.

Found some iron piece on the food. Now their foods are tasteless and service is very poor. Will take almost an hour to prepare an order. Comparing to taste of the food price is too high.

Tasty food, many varieties, all you can eat for a reasonable price. Only issue is the stinky carpet which is on the upper deck where we eat food. Hope they will do something to fix it. Highly recommended.

Delicious rice and curry(pork, beef, mutton, prawns, lamb, fish, eggs, sausages,chicken,crab,cuttlefish,etc) , fried rice, kottu , pasta and lot of things. Dining and takeaway. This is popular as 'pork kade'- පෝක් කඩේ

Place should visit when you are hungry. Everything is perfect. No added preservatives.

The upper floor is not cleaned when I went there to take my breakfast. It has been not cleaned properly.

I ordered their food on Uber Eats and I am HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. The food was cold and disgusting. The food was entirely flavourless. Portion was big but the food was neither appealing nor healthy looking. In fact, I even found two stones in the rice. Not exaggerating, but even my dogs disliked the food.

I have had lunch several times at praneetha Foods.food is really delicious.There are lot of curry options.sea food is also available. I highly recommend this place for someone who wants to try Sri Lankan food for a reasonable price.They specially mention that they refrain from using any artificial flavours.

Visited here for dinner. It's good srilankan food. Liked it. Buy anything after asking the price. Visit here for taste only. No atmosphere at all. Price is not that much, but if you dont ask price, then you can be charged more. Dont go for buffet.

If you are looking for spicy, wide veraity of sri lankan food this is the best place to go. They claim they'll not use any artificial ingredients for there food. So this place is very popular among office crowd. Sometimes you have to wait 10-15 minutes to place an order. Space is limited so its getting really crowded at lunch time. Due to this sometimes their are getting rude to customers. Otherwise they are ok. Food is really good and not overpriced. More like 250-450 range depend on the dishes. Here you have a good veraity of dishes to choose from. And the taste is amazing. Also have to mention that they don't have a proper parking space. So its better to use tuk tuk when you go there.

Worth of money to have sri Lankan food. I think rather than getting meals from Pickme and Uber it's cheaper if we can have it there cuz we get a lot of curry varieties to select.

If you enjoy a fiery Rice curry this place has got you covered. Personally I couldn't taste my food over the spice. But the portions were good and food seemed fresh

You can buy rice and curries with different types of meats and vegetable curries. The food was tasty but a little bit expensive. If you want to select the curries it costs an extra 50/= per potion. Otherwise you can get their selections. Parking space is limited. Recommended for people who live near Kollupitiya and slave island area.

This is one useless place. Ordered a large portion of curry chicken. For 1500 I received only 150gramms of portion. Don't order from this place. Its just a scam. Look at the photo, Don't waste your money on scam food places like this.
