Love the atmosphere at this place. I ordered shrimps as starters and it was the best. Got the crunch from the outside and the shrimp was really flavorful and chewy. The dip was great as well. For the soup I had a Spicy Asian Soup. It was too much garlic for me but overall the flavors were there. For the main course I had a Mambo Italiano and personally I wanted too much tomato and they delivered. Love the flavors. Overall I really enjoyed my food. Thank you Isso!

Went for lunch with a friend. The restaurant has parking slots of its own which are free. The place can be a bit crowded during lunch times because of all the office crowd. The menu doesn't have hundreds of options, but the ones they have should cater for everyone. They had few special dishes for Luna new year as well. Food was nice. The staff was nice as well. The air conditioner was leaking water and the staff arranged a new table for us.

Really nice service and delicious food! The power was out the day we went and so there was no AC and it was also very hot, and they were not able to offer some lunch menu options such as the fried ice cream. Besides that, the food was as great as the service, with decent portions and relatively fair prices for what you pay for in terms of western standard. The jumbo shrimp option brought 6 decently sized shrimps and the spice level was enjoyable served along some warm rice. Their drinks are also really refreshing. I recommend the watermelon of the lemon grass/orange “lemonade”. Inside or outside seating available upstairs or downstairs, with ample parking offered out front, although also easy to get to by foot, taxi, or tuk tuk.

Good ambience and food is good. The place is well maintained and can park a few vehicles in front of the premises. Portion is satisfactory and almost empty when I visited the place. On the day I visited, prices were not updated in the menu posted on their wall and there was a bit of confusion when I received the bill. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

Real tasty and modern take on Sri Lankan fare. Very straightforward menu and friendly service. All the prawn dishes are really great, reasonably spicy, though I found the jumbo prawn portions a bit on the small side. Besides that no complaints - will definitely be back to try more.

Best food experience ever. They deliver the food to table quickly after we order. Same as earlier daya taste is still same. Now they have so many varieties of food items. Place is so spacious and now they can accommodate many people at a time. Friendly staff. Place is very clean. Good atmosphere to hangout for meal.

It was a family lunch with my wife, and kid. Of course was a late lunch around 4pm. We parked in front, it was helpful but charges separately by Galle fort and checked the items in the next restaurant and walked in here to see a great menu. Their Food is really awesome Their gravy is great, we ordered Isso biriyani, isso roti Kitthu, and Thai red curry customized dish. Drinks…. Sprite and passion fruit. And since we wanted to eat more ordered another egg fried rise. Have washrooms too By the way use the outside seating in the balcony. Good sea wind and lovely ambiance

Ordered the Shrimp burger, Isso wade and Nasi goreng and every thing was so delicious ! The burger was so juicy and yummy ! Hands down the best shrimp burger in town. Even the coffee is amazing. The quality and the potion sizes are excellent and worth for what you pay.

It wasn't as good as expected. Tried their special ISSO Nasi Goreng and couldn't find any speciality. The only difference was that it came with four kebab prawns and some fancy papadums. Their menu is small and lack of varieties. The service is average. Parking space is there. My opinion is that it is not worth the price.

This has been the place i wanted to visit the most the minute i got back to Sri Lanka, and man oh man it was amazing, from the ambiance to the food to the friendly staff, this place has it all. And dont get me started on their meals, we had a their Shrimp spring rolls with a green apple lemonade and their ice milo with 2 Isso Kottus to go. Their price to qualtiy ratio is just perfect, this is like the first time a restaurant chain had matched up to their marketing provenance. Absolutely love it definitely check it out if you are near by.

The food was absolutely delicious! We tried the batter fried ship, the nasi goreng and the mambo. All of them were perfectly cooked and were very flavorful although the nasi was a tad spicy. They were not stingy with the isso (prawns) too! However the AC was not enough and it was a bit stuffy inside. But the service was very prompt.

Reviewing after many visits, I've tried all their starters at every visit and takeout; they're flavorful and tasty, perfectly fried, and the sauce that comes with the starters is really great! Combo has perfect portions and selection, so biriyani is perfect in flavor, and kottu is perfect in flavor too. All the time, dinner has been great! I felt a difference in flavor on my last visit! But the food is great as usual! And sweet potato fries make a perfect snack!

According to my experience in isso-prawn crazy seems to have some positives as well as some areas for improvement. The corn crab soup was good, which is positive point. However, the prawn salad with guacamole was not as good due to large size of the lettuce making it difficult to eat, which could be improve upon. The staff was friendly, which is always a plus but prices were bit expensive but it’s worth giving the shop a try. Overall, it seems like isso-prawn crazy has some potential, and with some adjustments to their offerings, they could be a great spot for delicious meal.

The quality of the food has become average over time and given the price. Service was superb however. The Parking was but of issue even at off-peak hours at night.

This is one of the regular places that I visit when I am in Sri Lanka. They have a nice salad that you can enjoy. Price is reasonable and parking is easy. Place is very well maintained and staff is friendly. Have healthy food options. Highly recommend.

Decent place, wasn't so crowded. The Cappuccino and Iced Americano was good. The submarine size was pretty small than expected. But taste wise it was good. Isso Mee goreng was yum ! the burger and fish and chips were good too. Fries served were sweet potato fries. But they turned out to be better than expected.

Totally different from other restaurants. One of my favorite places that I have never been in my life. Taste is top notch. Worth to spend money on dishes. Wanna try again as soon as possible.

Orderd a prawn nasigoreng it had literaly 3 prawns in it and a mountfull of rice .. it looked good but doesnt taste good.. prawn submarine was just flooding with sauce and not appertising.. fries were really good as well as the passion fruit lemonade was one of the best i had 👍

The Calamari rings are delicious, crispy and well seasoned. Nasi goreng and the egg fried rice was taste great. Sweet potato chips are very crispy and yummy I just can’t stop thinking about it.

Excellent food. All staff adhere to the COVID-19 guideline so it’s very safe to dine here. If you after quality prawn related food, this is it. It may be expensive for some but I think it’s fair enough. Biriyani is original, you get the real saffron flavour as well as smell. Nasi goreng was way to spicy and hot, but spoke to them and asks to reduce the hot chilly. If it’s way to hot for Sri Lankan then I can imaging if a Foreigner taste it 😁 so if you are in Colombo and dining here as part of your trip to Sri Lanka, then ask them to reduce the spice in this plate specially. Overall good food good place with parking.
