Its like an oasis in middle of concreate jungle if you dont mind the city pollution much. If you are a tourist its a worth place to take a light break and have a look at peice of history. Park is dedicated to one of the most powerful and intelligent king of SriLanka namely 6th Parakumba who rulled the entire( well mostly ) country from Kotte kingdom. A color paradise for kids with play area ample seating for parents with shady trees to protect you from heat of clombo. Though its a tiny plot of land you may find quite a number of sculptures including King Parakumba , Late Mayor Chandra de Silva, Playing Kids and Musrooms. Across the road you will see an another statue of anciant Srilankan worrier General Weediya Bandara ( it used be with a sinhala short Sword in hand but looks like someone has taken it from him)who is also from Kotte Kingdom. You can find washrooms if you visit the nearby Janajaya Building. Parking available.

It's a very small and open area situates in the rajagiriya junction amidst 3 lanes. The park consist of a central and larger statue of St Parakumba and has a play area for children with slides and other kids playing facilities. It also consist of a walking Lane and a sitting area for the parents and adults. The park is not in a calm and quiet restaurant yet it good for a small break with not much of a view but is still able to get a glimpse of the concrete jumgle surrounding it this making it feel sort of out of place
