My stay in a superior room was marked by mixed experiences. The food from the à la carte menu was flavorful, though the portions of meat were disappointingly small. While the room was generally clean, I observed some dust on the pillows and bedsheets. The washrooms, although clean, had an unsettling surprise of half dead cockroaches. On a positive note, the air conditioning functioned well, but the persistent noise throughout the night, including the sound of moving tables, was disruptive to my rest. An unusual aspect was the lack of transparency in the washrooms, despite the presence of curtains. This compromised the privacy and comfort of the space. The checkout process was unexpectedly prolonged, causing some inconvenience. In conclusion, my overall experience was fair, but improvements in food portions, cleanliness, noise control, and washroom privacy would significantly enhance the quality of the stay.

Rooms are clean and calm.Location of the pool is not suitable. Staff is friendly but coordination between them is poor. I think front office people don't want to do the business as they just said no rooms without checking. Otherwise nice place to stay.

Had a reservation for the weekend buffet . The amount paid for a person was comparatively lesser than most of places but its not that cheap either. They spend so much on social media marketing and when we try to get some information no one follows up. It has been over months and no response was still received for inquiries. However, the buffet barely qualifies as a buffet since the varieties and the spread was very little. Even their salad bar exceeds items from thier mains. Most of the items were vegetarian including the soup and you could barely find seafood. Only a fillets of swordfish was available and the seafood noodles had cut up small prawns which is not that much(hard to find the pieces) . Action station was also available but also vegetarian. Their only rice main which is the biriyani is made from "keeri samba" instead of basmathi rice. They don't fill up the food trays more often and that tray isn't filled all the way so you have small portions inside those. Desserts were okay and was delicious. Overall the food tastes good and presentation was okay. The only perk of the buffet is that they let you use the pool. The pool has an incredible view and had to give some stars for that. I would not go for buffet anytime soon there since with an small additional amount you could have a decent buffet minus the pool somewhere else. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Had modern facilities. Can have the greenish view of the CCC Grounds from the windows. Rooftop pool and the bar is awesome. Has great views with a infinity pool. Can have the view of the Colombo city. Food and drinks were great and the price was reasonable, not too expensive. Recommended.

Once we went for a high-tea at this place. It was really bad. All the sweet items were dry and seems like they have been sitting there for years. Cheese cake tasted like it was expired. Most of the savory items they served there, (rolls and cheese balls) are sold at supermarkets. There was a small burger the bread was dry and hard to swallow. Worst high-tea ever. Although the service seems to be nice, do not recommend this place at all.

Facilities were good. Room was clean and comfortable. Foods were delicious.But services and there communication was bit poor. We got the day out package and buffet included for it. They provide some beverages for us in the buffet but no one informed those are exclude from package.

Great view and good staff in the middle of Colombo 5. Upstairs pool is lovely and a nice place to spend an evening. The seating is a bit limited but a cool place to hang out. Needs better bites on the menu

Got a suite, the room looks nice with a aesthetic interior design. However it's not maintained at all, lacks cleanliness and is dusty. Had to go to reception and switch rooms. Communication between staff can improve. Pool and restaurant is quite nice though.

Room was great, but food served to the room was not up to the standard. rooftop bar has the amazing city view but, rooms on other floors don't have the same. TV is limited to 6-8 channels, rooms don't have hairdryer or iron😏. I enjoyed the stay but i won't go this place again. I had better experience with other hotels.

I stayed in room 404 at Colombo Colombo 5 and was incredibly disappointed by the experience. I had visitors for legitimate business purposes, but we were harshly confronted by the manager, who insisted that visitors were not allowed even for business reasons. This was not only an inconvenience but also an unreasonable policy that marred my stay. I expected a more accommodating and understanding approach from the management, and this experience left a negative impression on me.

We stayed in suite room with all the facilities provided by ME staff. FOOD was awesome and the rooftop bar and pool gave us unforgettable memories for life time. Special Thanks goes to Mr.Sandun and front office staff who comfort us with the best they can. Thank you we'll visit you soon again.

Nice place. but only one issue, the trip switch is going off frequently, after taking technical support two times I managed to learn to switch on the same. All night awaken because of the A/C also going off once power is down. Intercom can only contact the bar, reception and restaurant line are not working, had to visit the restaurant and ask for room service. And also when power down I had to call the general number and get the service done. Because reception never answer the calls through intercom.

Despite promotional prices listed on their website, they failed to honor them and changed the prices at the last minute, leaving me frustrated and feeling misled. Came to the rooftop bar with my partner, from the entrance it was very welcoming, there was this lady at the front Ms.Harini she helped us with the menu and ordering as well. The food was pretty amazing, enjoyed a lot. Great place to relax and beautiful scenery.

Went there for lunch. Their food and prices were fine. Had A la carte. Food preparation time was bit longer. Loved thier surrounding but the chairs felt somewhat uncomfortable 🥲 Service was fine. The place was relaxing although its located in the city area.

We visited Me Colombo rooftop bar last week Saturday, the two people who was performing was outstanding did every request we said and the guy who played guitar were taking us to the point wow. The bartender and the Waiter was very helpful with us everytime. Food Was not best but average.

I booked the suite and the room was so good. BUT the air conditioning was so bad that it was not cooling enough. The AC repair people would come and go saying all kinda stuff until i asked to change the room after two hours of getting BBQ inside the room. Less value for money.

I love the place since it has this welcoming ambience and homey vibe. Situated in a calm neighborhood and It's a great place to have a chat while sipping a cup of coffee or a nice meal.. Coffee was tasty,creatively presented and reasonably priced. Staff is also very polite and professional. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone👍

Food is great. Food is completely worth for price. Poolside is good too but it felt a bit compact. Overall can't complain it because it has a good view. Staff is really helpful. Only complain I have is the parking. There's not enough room to park vehicles inside the premises. I had to park my car on the road opposite to the building. But other than that, it was a good experience.

Hotel was good. Staff is very cooperative. Miss nickola is very supportive. Azim also. And the manager is also good. When we visited the hotel they not provided the food to us but later they feel sorry and one day what we ordered we have not got the same one. Later they wave off our some amount of food which we ordered. Swimming pool is good but very small and that is on the roof top. Hotel is not worth with this amount and very very far from the airport. Again thanks to hotel management

So I booked the Romantic Candlelight dinner at ME Colombo with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. Very simply the experience was simply amazing. We had a star-class five course dinner menu -they even made a custom vegetarian/non-alcoholic menu cos both of us were vegetarian and non alcoholic. The ambience was very nice, the whole setup was well done just the way we wanted. The food and drink was out of this world, from the starters to the cappucino that we finished off with. Everything was served and presented with attention to the finest details. Special thanks to Mr. Fazlin and the rest of the team. Mr. Fazlin was extremely friendly and very very flexible. A true gentleman and catered to everything so well there was nothing lacking. The staff were also always friendly and kind and smiling. I would highly recommend ME Colombo to anyone who wants a star-class dining experience in a peaceful atmosphere. You shall not be disappointed in any aspect.

This is a small hotel but when we visited the place the bar would not serve liquor. We were bit disappointed. The plus point is the roof top bar and the swimming pool. We were invited for open mic events as well. Well organized event and the staff was also attentive.

We went to the lunch buffet. It was 2800LKR PP. Ambiance is okay, somewhat cramped though. Food is "meh" and didn't have many options. If you want to experience many cuisines, look elsewhere. TBH I'd pay 500LKR extra and go to the cinnamon plates buffet.

The hotel is poorly maintained and staffed. Arrived at 4pm after a long haul flight, had to wait an hour for a room and made to feel an inconvenience. Room was dirty and poorly maintained, including stained linen, dirty curtains and marked walls. Sound proofing was non existent, not assisted by the inexplicable decision to play jazz in the corridor of all floors during daylight hours (speaker vs proximity to room doors pictured)

Took advantage of the havelock town location to walk in for a dinner, this boutique restaurant has left the best impressions! It’s a great experience, I walked in for a post anniversary dinner with my family. The Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, drinks list and wonderful dessert were top notch. It’s the cutest spot with amazing food. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. Staff are extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend this spot to everyone!

The hotel is a concept built…. Food is ok nothing fancy but I would say it’s on the price point and the roof top bar has a stunning view of the ground with a pool. The rooms are good but given the current covid guidelines the hotel staff is running at max capacity- expect delays ! They are friendly but don’t be rude to them because of small delays ! Recon - not recon for travels since it’s in the city center and no much activity around.

Me Colombo is a nice designed hotel in a good location. This is the first stay that I’ve had at this resort. Their staff was really helpful and the rooms were very comfortable but dust was clearly visible inside wardrobe and on the couches, Also washroom was bit stinky. The rooftop pool has an amazing city view of Colombo and perfect for a swim and sunset. The food they served was mouthwatering and delicious, their ala-carte menu had so many varieties and I hope that it continues to keep raising its standard because it's a very nice hotel!

A wonderful boutique hotel just the opposite of Colombo Colts Cricket Club. Stayed there overnight. The rooftop bar and pool are fantastic. The view facing the city of Colombo is mesmerizing. The rooftop bar is a great place to hang out during the evening. The restaurant of the hotel is pretty good. We had a good breakfast. Reasonable prices and the food was delicious.
