The hotel is situated in the perfect place and they have a safe parking with security. That's the only good thing about this hotel! It's the dirtiest and filthiest room i have ever seen in a hotel. Toilets don't even think about it, you won't even feel like using it unless you have really unhygienic living conditions i stayed in room number 3001 . The hotel is situated in a very good location and i hope the management understands it and acts on it! I will not recommend anyone to stay.

Worst place I’ve stayed. Cockroaches everywhere, including the bed. Bathrooms are absolutely filthy. When we asked to see other rooms we were shown rooms which are worse. Their excuse, they’re in the middle of renovation after Covid. I’m the name of renovation, the only thing I saw that was new is the toilet bowl. Its not at a standard where it should even be open. The beds had stains on the sheets, headboard, seemed like the sheets weren’t washed, last time they were washed was probably before they closed. Funky smells in all the rooms we looked at, our clothes started to smell like it too after one night stay. AC fixed in the side of the bed was constantly dripping onto the bed and left a huge wet patch, if that wasn’t enough it sounded like there was a lot of bugs inside it and it was going to break at any second. Definitely would advise against staying here due to the lack of hygiene standards, would also most likely make you sick. DON’T STAY HERE!

Worst place I’ve ever visited in my entire life! Was absolutely mortified! The room smelled terribly mouldy, the bed sheet looked like it hasn’t been washed for months, the toilet smelled like sewage water, the AC leaked and was very noisy, there were cockroaches everywhere. There was no wifi in the hotel. We couldn’t sleep because the smell makes us feel nauseous and dizzy. Had to run for our lives after the first night because other rooms looked like in the same condition, and the entire hotel smelled funky. The staff didn’t even asked why we checked out 3 days earlier than our reservation, like they were used to people running away after their first night at the hotel.

Trust me!!!.. this is not a budget hotel. you just gonna waste your money for paying the most terrifying hotel experience ever. The room was full of dirt, smells soo bad, pillows are like made from stone, bed not comfortable at all, water leaking from the A/C, dirt towels, commode tank broken and overflowing, door lock broken and cant even look the door from inside. KEEP OUT OF THIS PLACE!

Absolutely horrible. It was just a waste of money. Bathroom was full of dirt.(So as the room) Very smelly. I had to clean it by myself. The flush was not working. Had to pour water into it manually. Water leaking from the AC machine and my bed was totally wet at the mid night. Yes this is a cheap hotel but stil you got to treat your customers well. It doesn't matter if you don't have huge facilities for that price but still you got to clean the rooms and make it more human friendly. We’re not animals. Please’t waste money on this hotel. There much much better hotels for cheaper prices better than this.

This is one of the worst place I have visited. The rooms are soo much uncomfortable.AC is not working & barthrooms are not well cleaned. Rooms are full of a bad smell . And the most worst thing is before we checked out our room has given to another couple while we were in outside.Don't spend your valuable time & money for a terrible place like this.The only thing we can admire is its beautiful interiors.

Booked for 2 nights and checked out after a day. The rooms are nothing like in the photos. Absolutely ZERO cleanliness. The photos uploaded by the hotel are at least 10 years old. The only good thing about the hotel is the location.

Nice place to spend your time. It's difficult to book a room via online. You have to arrive here and take a room. Only double rooms were there but 3 members can managed well. Staff was very friendly. Towels and soap, hot & cold water showers, A/C, Mini refrigerator were freely available.

It's Value to the money. If you want to have only a good night sleep in Colombo. Yes this is the budget place

Very unsatisfied with this rooms and services. Televisions are not working, heaters in bathrooms are not working, commodes also not flushing well, The drier in the bathroom is attached to wall plug with two peeled twin wires. It's a huge risk when using it in such a wet place. Also not cleaned bathrooms and broken doors. Also some stains on mattress. I think only thing they are cleaning in rooms are only dustbins. One of worst experience I had. The rooms are smelly and not maintained at all. Bathroom door cannot be locked and the greezer was not working, so no hot water available. The bed are very hard and cannot sleep at all. Only good thing is that, the location.

Check in and check out is easy. Staff is very helpful and friendly. But most importantly the rooms are reasonably priced. But i can't tell the same thing about the cleaness of the rooms. I stayed 2 times 2nd floor and the 3rd floor. Both times there were cokrochess. 2nd flor rooms Cooler wasn't working and it's not cleaned. And the metress is not very comfortable. I recommend 3rd floor rooms. about the food they only have a Korean menu. Not much to choose from. This is a budget hotel though you can't expect anything big. Although If you're looking for the good value for your money this is the best place in the area. I will be staying hear again. Hopefully it will be improved.

Located in heart of colombo and ideal place for a quick nap. Rooms are well arranged but bathroom smelled when we entered and had to flush couple of times to get rid of the smell. Overall value for money and ideal escape for a quick break within colombo.

My recent stay at Juliana Hotel in Colombo was unfortunately marred by various issues with the hotel's condition. The cleanliness of the room and toilet was exceptionally poor, with the added discomfort of finding bugs in the toilet. The air conditioner was both loud and noisy, and there was a persistent unpleasant odor in the room. Furthermore, several lights in the room were not working, and I noticed holes in the bedsheet. An inconvenience worth noting is that the hotel does not provide an iron or ironing service, so it's advisable to carry your own. My experience was disappointing to the point that I had to check out after just one night, even though I initially booked a three-night stay. On a more positive note, the staff at Juliana Hotel were friendly and accommodating, and the hotel's location was convenient. However, the hotel needs to urgently address the cleanliness and maintenance issues to provide a comfortable experience for its guests.

The worse place I have been to. The room is full of dirt. There were hair on the bed sheets, tiles in the room and the bathroom was broken. Smells really bad. I felt vomitish the moment I entered the room. As soon as I saw the room, I didn't want to stay. I wanted a refund. I didn't stay more than a minute there. When I told that to the manager, he sent a person to check the room. They were lying saying we used it. The worst service ever. The stuff was drunk and could smell them from a mile away. Never go with your family.

The location of the hotel is superb and the price can't be beat. It is beyond me how the hotel can run air conditioning in the rooms at this price. I don't understand why this hotel has so many bad reviews. Either the hotel is booked by people who are extremely stingy or who have to calculate with every single rupee. Regarding the nationalities of the guests, it must be said that you can't even rent a chicken coop for this price in their countries of origin. The hotel offers all the promised facilities such as attached bathroom, air conditioning, WIFI and TV. The hotel can only be criticized for not having a single room in the entire building, as shown on the website. At this price it must be clear to everyone that this is a very basic, run-down budget hotel and one cannot make any claims. If you have higher demands, you have to pay about three times as much in Colombo. If you have higher demands but don't have the necessary finances, you have to make do with hotels like the Juliana or don't come to Sri Lanka. My company booked the hotel for an employee as it is very well located for our business. After our clerk had a look at the room, we immediately rebooked him to another hotel, but we won't be upset about that and won't give a bad review for the above reasons.

The only positive thing about the room was having hot water in the bathroom. Other than that, the room was smelly & the bed was not good at all. Not worthy for the price. The hotel management should work on this!

We had been repeater guests at this property just before covid. After covid I stayed on 6th -8th of June 23.

I stayed at that hotel for two days. The AC in the room I was in did not work. The same goes for the TV inside. The mattress on the bed was also broken in the middle. The hair in the bathroom is everywhere, and the water in the toilet does not flush properly.. The shower heater is also not working. The corridor also had an unpleasant musty smell.

Bad small. When you enter the room very heavy chemical smell. there is no window to get fresh air in the room. the bed and billow are very very hard to sleep. Hot water is coming but you can't control it.

When i was check in the person who was in tje reception i am not setisfied with him. Hosekeeping and engineering department so friendly. Tidy rooms and bathroom. Comfortable rooms with tv chairs table and air condition. Checkout timing is not satisfied becauae its 12noon Even if we 1minute late they will charge like half charge.
