Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Sri Lanka! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, our names were mentioned on the board and we were upgraded to the Paradise Suite. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. The second day we did a village trekking which was guided by Raj, who works as a waiter in the hotel as well. Raj is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed walking the three of us through the village. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The natural bath on the end was a great way to end the trekking. Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!

Recently, we came for lunch and ordered a soda. Soda bottle neck is too dirty, and we asked for another one. In front of our eyes, they wiped the dirt using a cloth and gave the same soda bottle and mentioned the dirt is on the neck only and not gone inside.

The front desk has been incredibly nice and helpful and was very helpful in advice on what to do in the city. Lovely location Hotel was very clean as well as the room. The breakfast was better than what I expected. Though we didn't spend too much time in the hotel, other than sleeping but it left a great impression on us! Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. one of the nicest places we stayed in the nine days we were in Colombo. Thanks for making our visit to Euro Lanka that much better.

We placed an order at the Pittu Shop, and while my wife's dish arrived promptly, there was an oversight in serving mine. Despite observing other tables receiving the same items we ordered, our dish was forgotten. Consequently, my wife finished her meal before my dish arrived. We requested to cancel the order even before its arrival, as we couldn't enjoy a meal together. The lady in charge displayed a lack of professionalism in managing her staff in public and attempted to handle customer concerns with a misguided sense of cleverness, disregarding basic service standards. Despite paying for the uneaten portion, we left dissatisfied with the overall experience.

Budgeted hotel in Colombo, ideal location with nearby facilities like restaurants, supermarket and lot more. The staff are very cooperative and helpful. Eurolanka restaurant is excellent 👌 Strongly recommended.

Place is NOT recommended at all. Very dirty place with poor service. Minimum level of facilities and they are not providing enough food for guests. Just a waste of time and money!

Extraordinary place to eat pittu. One of the highest rating i would provide. But but expensive and quantity is less. For a regular eater its fine.

Very very smelly hotel. We booked a stay for our family of 10 for 4 rooms. When I went inside the hotel, the rooms smelled very bad. So when we canceled the reservation and asked for a refund, the hotel did not refund the money. No one should go to this hotel. The reception manger name is Dheva. Don’t go to this place.

Very nice, especially at the price. We stay in Hotel Eurolanka, often and this Hotel in Marine Drive is our first choice. The price is reasonable, room is clean and comfortable, bed is comfortable, nice environment and good breakfast. It is also nice to have a fridge in the room. Staffs are excellent! Everyone we had any contact with was friendly and helpful.

This has to be my favourite hotel in Colombo. I was highly impressed by the quality and amazing taste of food this hotel provided. The service was great, the staff were friendly and very hospitable. The scenic views overlooking the hotel...no words can describe how amazing they were. wonderful service in organising our rooms and luggage. So so so impressed by this lovely hotel.

From their cafe, Coffe Colombo I ordered a cake and it was the horrible cake ever. Cake was melted and damaged and they were not even taken any safety guidelines to pack the cake in a proper covered box instead sent the cake with a open box specially during this Covid-19. Can imagine the quality they maintain within their hotel and kitchen limits if they are such irresponsible to fulfill this kind of small service towards their clients. Not recommended at all.

The staff are kind and approachable and they are able to converse in Tamil. Also there is scenic view of the sea from our room balcony. But I would say there is still room for improvement. For example, the spray for the shower sometimes leaks. So matbe you could fix it. But all in all, the stay was pleasant and would give the hotel a 8/10👍👍👍
