Fantastic hotel with superb Sri Lankan hospitality at its best. Great location for Colombo, we used it as a base and to get around all of Colombo it was ideal. The staff were fantastic and provided absolutely everything we needed. The gorgeous rooms and setting provided a very relaxing stay. Beautiful rooftop lounge area

Friendly service and clean location

Nice place to stay in Colombo. Very recommendable if you are in Colombo waiting for the flight home: after checking out, they will store your bags and you can use the bathroom to shower, as well as the common areas. It is worth paying for the room with private bathroom. It is really comfortable, large and elegantly decorated. The staff is great.

We had a great stay at Mahasen. Friendly, helpful, laid back staff. They accommodated our very late arrival and let us bring our kitty. Convenient self service kitchen and pretty rooftop area. Good value rooms and centrally located. Looking forward to coming back.

The place is very nice with a lot of sunlight and some beautiful plants. The upstairs roof is ideal in the morning (probably other times too) for a stretch/bird watching/book reading. The staff is very friendly as well as super helpful to your needs.

The most amazing vibes! I stayed I total 4 nights at the foozoo and would have loved to stay even longer. It really feels like home from the minute you enter. The whole energy in that place is just warm and wonderful. The staff is really friendly and the breakfast really good. The whole house is decorated with love and the rooms are clean. They take in cats who had car accidents and nurse them back to health. Really nice!

Great stay here. The guesthouse is quaint with very comfortable rooms and nice staff. Was actually a nice place to just hang out in all the common spaces. Will stay here again for sure! Great view from the rooftop

Great place to stay in Colombo. Genuinely friendly staff, couldn’t be more helpful. Very comfortable rooms with hot showers and big beds. Nice lounging areas and roof terrace. Quiet location but not too far from Colombo’s tourist areas. Highly recommended.

Excellent! We were in Colombo to do some important things. One of the best things about this hotel is its location, its smack in the middle of colombo, conveniently, yet feels quiet and suburban.... The guys working there provided excellent service. They were very kind and helpful. We brought our cat to see a vet in Colombo. They accommodated that with no issues or questions asked... I found the self help kitchen with their assortment of teas very convenient... The room was quite small but seemed very clean. The water pressure in the shower could be better, but it was alright. Linen was clean. A/C was alright but i could see it being a problem on very hot colombo days of the year. Met the owner and he was kind and helpful (also gave us a much appreciated discount!) Overall, this place is an excellent value for its price, centrally located and very accommodating and laid back. Thank you!

Very nice and friendly people in charge. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The hot water availability was great. The decorations are very artistic and relaxing. I would just recommend new soap for each new guest and keeping the waiting area cleaner so it won’t be a bother to take off shoes at entrance (as requested).

Cool place to chill

Can't rate this place enough! Been here twice now and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Colombo. Friendly staff and atmosphere, beautiful rooftop, the comfiest beds. Really does feel like a home away from home - see you soon guys! :)
