It's a lovely boutique hotel the expo bridal was held today . It's nice place to a small private wedding or party around 75 guest. I would recommend this place.

Visited the restaurant here. Lovely place, with good food and an amazing home made ice cream! They have a good high tea menu (which must be pre-booked), as well as an all-day menu and seperste lunch/dinner menu. Staff is courteous and very helpful. The ambience is nice, with surrounding gardens and greenery, giving a very natural feeling. Definitely a calm, serene environment, good for relaxation. Can used as an event venue as well.

There are no friendly management they always depending on their own rules and regulations that was imposed by them self. by the way its not a place to go for shoots and other thing because the maintained that place as a children free hotel..if you have kinds you have to leave them home and visit this ………. place

Maniumpathy is excellent in terms of food, customer service and the atmosphere it brings out when you dine there. The staff was really friendly and very accommodating. The food came out quickly and tasted great. We enjoyed our time there and celebrated our friends birthday. She was really glad we picked Maniumpathy because of how much fun we had! The boutique hotel is beautifully decorated and we will all be visiting very soon.

Great place for family gatherings or stay and relax . Wonderful customer service and support. Place is clean and beautiful. There are antiques all around. Fans also old ones which given us to see how awesome is the past. Food is delicious. Green surroundings. Parking is kind of an issue with limited space. Small pool is there. Go and experience the awesome service and food. Close to Public parks, Galle Face green, museum, super markets, hospitals, bus stops, Fort railway station and many more. Thanks

hotel in the center. Very quiet, rooms are spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. The breakfast is great and the diner and lunch too. Staff as the manager paul (?) are all kind and nice. I would add more candle or flowers (receptions or restaurant) but it’s a suggestion. Again thanks

Absolutely stunning location which takes you to a different dimension. Hard to imagine that this place exists in the heart of Colombo. The food and the service was top notch. Their staff are very friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend visiting for a cosy meal.

Beautiful cosey hotel in colombo. We had a spontan idea to stay in colombo on Saturday to Sunday and found this place. Great located in colombo 7 good for walking around the area and exploring the neighbourhood. Our room was very cosey with a indoor outdoor bathroom. Ancient wooden doors and very fluffy beds with plenty of pillows. Internet was working well. Breakfast was super tasty. Service friendly and helpful attentive. Weather was not that great so we didn't jump in the pool. No complains. Ah and booking was super easy. When I found the place on insta we could just book it from there and got an email confirmation (2) missed to take more pictures. Well next time

It’s a small boutique hotel and a beautiful one at that. All the major tourist attractions are close by. They maintain the rooms very well. The food is great, we only tried the breakfast but that was good too. Although it’s in the city, it’s very quiet and peaceful. The staff is very very friendly, helpful and nice.

My room was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, plenty of storage space, and a large bathroom. One of the things I appreciated most was the attention to detail - there were plenty of thoughtful touches throughout the room, from the plush bathrobe to the complimentary snacks and beverages. In terms of amenities, the hotel had everything I could have wanted. There was a gym and fitness center, as well as a spa and salon for those looking to indulge in a little pampering.

Calm and quiet place with beautiful architecture. My personal experience is little bit different anyway nice place. If you want a fly a drone in your occasions please bring your permissions otherwise the management will not give the permission at least to hover your drone 😏

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of colombo. The grounds, building, rooms, furnishings in the rooms, even small details like the napkins and cutlery are all immaculate and uniquely styled. Luxurious beds, linen, roll top baths etc. It felt like a real treat to stay here. The staff are very pleasant, polite and attentive. The Jaffna theme runs throughout the building, even the receptionist seemed to really take pride in her work wearing a beautiful Jaffna style sari, which I don’t think was mandatory, each day. The food is amongst the best in Colombo with the Jaffna Thali (selection of curries) being the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka. All of this is accompanied by some interesting posters and paintings on the walls in the communal lounge area explaining the rich history of the place. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a more bespoke luxury hotel experience in Colombo.

We were warmly welcomed by Radhika upon our arrival, who seated us in one of their beautifully decorated lounges, while our room was being prepared. The hotel has eight rooms, each of which is uniquely designed with a perfect blend of modern and transitional charm. We stayed in one of their spacious and well appointed suites. The bathroom was huge, with two separate washbasins and counters. The attention to detail was impeccable and evident everywhere. From the subtle fragrances used in their bath and body products which heighten your senses, to the beautiful little garden in the back teaming with tropical plants. The rooms open up into the common courtyard boasting of a beautiful outdoor pool, surrounded by greenery and loungers. It is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. You can also enjoy a delicious breakfast or meal at the garden tables while soaking in the peaceful surroundings in the courtyard. The breakfast was customised to our liking every morning and was delicious. The team is warm, welcoming, and always go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is comfortable and memorable. You can easily walk around the area or find a cab/tuk tuk and explore some good local restaurants, beautiful architecture and temples. Overall, if you are looking for a beautiful and luxurious hotel in Colombo, Maniumpathy is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!

An oasis in the bustle of Kynsey Road. A beautifully maintained old family home, now used as a boutique villa and restaurant. A good place for a business lunch in quiet and pleasant surroundings and quick service.

I visited this morning for breakfast as it was recommended by a friend. Once I arrived it was very quiet so I asked at reception where breakfast was and she took me to the courtyard area which was quite pleasant. I ordered the Ceylon Quencher -King coconut, mint, salt & naarang. At 950 rupees is was fine. I then ordered Cheesy scrambled eggs with cheddar and Sauteed mushrooms, on a slice of homemade sourdough bread (1800LKR). Added to this I ordered a sausage which was, quote "Gourmet handmade sausages" (1100 LKR). The food came and it didn't look like what I ordered at all. The sausage looked like it was straight out of a Norfolk foods packet and sure enough it was frozen in the middle. I called over the waiter and immediatly sent it back. To be fair at this point I should have paid for my drink and left as there was no one else there and to do this was dreadful. My food returned along with my processed sausage, two pieces of toast which were only partially toasted and eggs with maybe some cheese. I'm still not sure. Look at the photo. To the management. I won't be back and I question if you have a very lazy chef. Do you realise this is what is being served? With no one else being served is the kitchen too busy on their mobiles? For the prices being charged it isn't good enough. You have lots of competition in the same area who are way way better than this. I'm sure the management didn't know but you do now.

Had a lovely 2-night stay at the Master room. It was a very relaxing, intimate & classy colonial experience to end our Sri Lankan tour. Shannon, Kuruppu & all the staff were immaculate & provided a personal touch to our stay. Definitely coming back soon. If you want to feel stately, this is an accommodation not to be missed! And, the food…super yums. We had the crab curry 2 nights in a row cos it was so good.

An idyllic hidden away colonial villa run by gentle, efficient people. A haven away from the bustle of Colombo - can’t wait to go back for the eggs Benedict in particular.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. You feel like you are visting the home of the family. The rooms are well appointed and the staff is lovely. The sr butlers will pick up on your needs quickly and make sure everything is organized properly. They even rembwr that I take my water with ice and my wife wants it at room temp The rooms are large and well done. Very comfortable stays. The concierge Rekha guided us to the sites and booked us the tuk tuk safari which was fun

Went for the Appè Adahas event organised by Appè Lanka and Gratiaen Trust. It was an entertaining evening. It's a beautiful old villa done up as a boutique hotel. There little snack bar had delicious snacks and cakes and beverages for good prices. The ambience around the pool area, with the large verandahs was cool. The garden was lovely. The Hall a bit small, didn't have time to browse through the phot exhibition that was on. pls check out details on Gratiaen Trust insta page. Watched beautiful traditional dance show by a bevy of ladies from Bishops College, from their performance to costume and make-up everything was perfect. A beautiful Fashion show By Jaishree P. Jaysinghe gave us something to admire and go gaga over, the sarees and outfits were exquisite modeled by some lovely lasses! The highlight for me was the panel discussion with The Gratiaen Award winning authors of yesteryear and the current holder for #crosmatch, Carmel Miranda. The other authors and their discussion with Shehara brought out many subtle truths about their writing journey which encouraged me in person. Thanks to Elmo Jayawardena, Lal M & Vihanga for their insightful discussion.

Great stay at Maniumpathy. Service was exceptional and they helped me to get in touch with the Sri Lankan airport when my luggage was delayed. Our room Poornam was great as well.

This is an old house that has been restored and tastefully refurbished with antique furniture. It is owned by a school friend and I must be upfront that I didn't stay there. However, the staff are excellent, the rooms are immaculately clean and look comfortable and it's in a central location in Colombo.

We had the best two days at my village. Our host was extraordinary and we felt very welcome at all times. The place is very clean and the rooms are cozy. The food they serve is delicious and they also prepare lunch bags. On top they are organizing the best safari tours for Yala with the most experienced guide. I can highly recommend this place!!!
