Wow. High above Indian Ocean overlooking Colombo city. Expect 5star feeling in this 4 roomed beautiful hotel managed by Chitra and her husband. Quiet and spotless clean rooms. Breakfast could be more improved.

Fabulous awesome stay at The penthouse above sea. Beautiful view of the sea and along it runs the railway lines with the olden times kind of trains. Ambience is done so tastefully. Food was awesome with great variety. The owner Chitra and Ranjit attend and takes care of each guest personally .The staff were all very kind. Very clean rooms. We were there for one night 13-14 August 2017. She made our trip itenerarry for all 7 days stay in Sri Lanka so convenient and easy by arranging a cab and excellent driver for a reasonable price. Very reliable. Besides she called us quite a number of times to check if are enjoying. Strongly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Hotel’s female owner is disrespectful, unprofessional and unhelpful, we booked a room for 2 persons by mistake while we are three once she knew that she showed very bad attitude asking us to pay more and we told her ofcourse we will pay more but how much more she replayed we should pay for another room for the extra person that will cost us 50$ for one night and that very expensive and doesn’t make sense we explained to her our situation “that we are in last station of traveling “ which means we have a minimum budget, she became more aggressive and asking us to call “Agoda”. And she went an extra miles by changing our room from floor 15 to floor 16 close to front disk to make sure that we are 2 not 3 at the end our third friend booked another hotel far from us “but cheaper” while she could easily and professionally moved us to another big apartment and let us pay 20$ per day like all other 5stars hotel. I’m not recommended this hotel because what’s the point of clean hotel and bad unprofessional attitude from the owners!!!

This is, without doubt the ambassador of Sri Lankan tourism for the first time traveller. Chitra, the hostess, and her husband are the standards to which other tourist places should aspire. Ever helpful, attentive cooperative beyond the call of duty. A very comfortable and well appointed lodging with good food and efficient staff. This is highly recommended.

Wow. I'd love to own this penthouse. There are fantastic views of Colombo. The owners are very friendly and have kitted out the place to perform on par with a 5 star hotel. The beds are so comfy and there is staff here to house keep and make a fantastic buffet style traditional breakfast. I had buffalo curd with palm honey and string hoppers and curry. It was amazing. Its a taxi ride away from the main centre but and ideal place to start you holiday. The main entrance is via the guarded barrier. Google maps takes you round the back which was a little confusing.

One of the best stays in Colombo offering the sea & city view from 16th floor. The owner & staff were very cooperative. They also extended our checkout as our flight was late. The food served was delicious. They have a terrace pool which definitely brings the lively in you. A perfect place to spend a day or two around Colombo

Wonderful and friendly with great service, beautiful views, very well kept and clean. Went out of their way to ensure a great stay. Breakfast best quality freshest food we have had so far on our trip. Very professional. Good coffee and lovely comfortable room.

This hotel was amazing! Beautiful interior design and very helpfull staff! The hotel is located about 50m from the local train station that takes you to Colombo Fort. This place was really stylish and well kept so be sure to stay here if you need a hotel near Colombo !!

Was awesome to stay there so nice staff and help full friendly owners the view from the terrace u can see whole Colombo the rooftop pool is clean and the view is even better The breakfast buffet is made with love. When I arrived there I feel like at home every tini thing is made with love there And there is another thing to say ! As the owners tould me they are just taking stuff from non good situated families they train them to a really high quality level and help them to have a better life. That's so great from you!!! Thank you so much you made my last days in srilanka really special!!

Could live here its that good. Lovely rooms , amazing staff and perfect location. I could not recommend it anymore. Slightly out of Colombo but to be honest its too busy in colombo and noisy. Tuk tuk cost about 500 ruppes.. or £3 and train is fantastic directly outside these apartments at 5p a ticket. Yes you read correctly 5p. Food excellent , views superb and even the owners go out of their way to help you. Do it !
