The villa is located in just few minutes away from Bentota town and it’s very easy to find. Villa is beautiful and well maintained but cleanliness need to be improved. Beach is nearby and you can easily reach to it just passing the railway line. Saw many locals and foreigners enjoying the salty water so I think you can have safe bathing experience there. Rooms are spacious enough and neat. But there’s was no WI-FI, plug sockets and specially a phone. They have provided all the equipments but we couldn’t use the electric kettle because there was no suitable socket for that. Meals were great and tasty. We truly satisfied about that. Finally staff was very friendly and supportive. I recommend this place for a pleasant stay.

We had a small family dinner, hospitality was really good from start to end. Buffet Was really tasty. Dilina was the in charge person, he was so helpful. Thank you for the support. We really enjoyed it 🙏 I would recommend this hotel for others as well.

This is one of the greatest botique hotel in Bentota area. Persons who like to stay in calm and quite environment this will be a great location for them. The garden is pretty big and have massive space. The coastal line railway lies near to the hotel but I don't think the sound of trains will not distract much. Also this is a famous for the photo shoots since the sorrounding and the garden is beautiful. The hotel staff also very friendly and supportive

We stayed at this boutique hotel during the weekend 9,10 Sep 2023. Place: Jeffry Bawa designed property with serene environment. We were at room 2 amd it had a private balcony and a lovely attic where a seperate bed was occupying. Well spacious room space with cozy feeling. Garden: It has a well maintained very spacious garden space with a medium size pool. Railway is at the end of the harden as if it runs through the garden. Security is assured 24×7 though. Beach: can walk to beach just 100 yards away from the property. neach can be a little rough at times, do not bathe in sea if the red flag was erected in the beach. Food: we enjoyed breakfast and dinner buffet and a 5 course sit down lunch. Both were amazing and they will do their maximum without any hesitation to cater your needs. In our group we had a vegan, "egg only" vegetarian, and the staff was attentive to their requirements. Service: 1st class. Must do: early morning sea bath and hang in the pool before your breakfast. Its mind blowing. Extra: they have a very large suite room with jacuzzi and a spaceous living room with seperaye AC .ideal for a family cocktail party (byob possible) Need to improve: please do regular checks on attic space bed linen. Hypersensitive clients may have continous sneezing. Please do water pressure checkes in your room. some of our group members had some issues SUMMERY: An ideal place for a family gatheing with elders and juniors

The ambiance is magical. Room overlooking pool though greens. Enjoy the pool while train passes by. Cross the Railtrack and walk a magical passage surrounded by greens filled with little flowers to the the breathtaking beach. Service is very attentive and perfect. Food is perfect with generous portions. One of the best we've been to and would always be a first choice to come back.

Great ambiance, beautiful setting, it was noticeable that it was designed by Geoffrey Bawa. A stunning property. Great staff, a special mention to Jayantha, the pool attendant, who was very helpful right throughout.

The service provided by your staff was outstanding; they were attentive, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. However, I must express my disappointment with the checkout process. It was regrettably not up to the standards set by the rest of the resort's offerings. I was over charged for things that I DID NOT use. Especially the handling of situation by Dilan was extremely unprofessional. I understand that every establishment faces its challenges, and I share this feedback with the intention of contributing to the continuous improvement of your resort. I believe that addressing the checkout process will ensure that guests leave with only positive memories of their time at your property. Despite this issue, I want to reiterate that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and appreciate the hard work put in by your team to create a memorable experience. Rooms were somewhat impractical with its weird design. Not very child friendly with in room stairs that have no railings and steps to the attic with uneven heights. Kept hitting my shin on the sharp cement edges of the bed. However, the rooms are clean and room service was on point everyday keeping the rooms crisp. The beach access is over a railway crossing. And a nice clean beach at that. Service and location is great. Outdoors are well maintained and gives a villa surrounded by nature vibe. Food is average at best. Never really looked forward to the next meal. Except for one dinner where I had pork chops in red wine sauce which was nicely done!

A wonderful little hotel surrounded by a vast landscaped gardens with flowering trees. World renowned Sri Lankan architect Bewis Bawa creation. Beautiful beach is just a 5 minutes away.

Went to club villa on an office team trip, they've been very accommodating and so very supportive to book our stay, there were a few changes that we had to but they were very flexible with us. Ordered a birthday cake and they did that perfectly Location is really beautiful, we loved how quiet it was. The beach is quite private and easy to walk to. The food is a set menu, but the dinner was very filling and tasty. The breakfast was the same. You can have a quiet peaceful day here. Would visit again.

Four of us stayed at The Club Villa for 2 nights very recently and had a very relaxing stay. The staff from reception to restaurant and room service was excellent. The restaurant manager took good care of us at meal times and the rooms were very clean and spacious. A well maintained garden and a clean beach made it all perfect at this Geoffrey Bawa designed property.

One of the best luxury boutique hotels in Bentota We booked this for our honeymoon. The room was excellent, and the food was delicious. I forgot the staff's names. The housekeeping guy from Randobe and room service However, they are super friendly, and I thank you for both of them. It was a very comfortable place to chill. best places to relax.We spent two nights there. also a great location for a photo shoot.

Great place to stop at. Really comfy and welcoming. Staff always available and managed perfectly a quick turn around of orders to food at the table. The grounds are first class with a beach only a short walk from the club. Loads of things to look out for on the wildlife side. A first rate stay thank you!

Club Villa Bentota is place located in Bentota area. It is an ideal place for a day out for families, couples and friends. Buildings are designed with nice architecture and the garden and scenarios are delightful to see. Food is served well mannered and a professional way and also they have a limited liquor selection too. Staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable too. Highly recommended for everyone.

This is my favorite hotel in Sri Lanka so far. It is gorgeous. It has the best food, there is an excellent service, the garden and the pools are amazing, it is a front beach property but you have walk through a very nice small path surrounded by bushes. The beach is nice, big, clean and empty. No body will bother you. All the style of the hotel is superb. It is worth to do some restorations.

Beware. The hotel publicity photos must be years old. See the real photos attached to this review that probably say it all. We travel lots and work hard to spend our money. It would seem that this 'hotel' considers you to be a cash cow. It's disappointing to write such a poor review. Note that the gardens are lovely. The main issues are: 1. Reception is disorganised and inconsistent. 2. The buildings are in poor state with cheap patch up in evidence everywhere. 3. Management, when given the option to respond to issues, is defensive and then will just avoid you. 4. The rooms are terrible and bear no relation to the hotel photos. Everything is broken and dirty. 5. Mattresses have no protector and so you sleep on stained mattresses (bed bugs optional). 6. Mould is everywhere in the rooms, covered up with white gloss. The smell is evident. 7. Doors and windows don't shut properly or safely. 8. After 6pm you struggle to find any staff. This means you can help yourself to any personal details and room keys that are left around the reception area. Remember it advertises as a 5 star and you pay 5 star prices.

Very pleasant place to stay. They have good food and nice garden. Rooms are clean and have a nice beach too. Not too crowded and it's the best that we could enjoy.
