I have been to Eagle's Lakeside for a few weddings. I believe this large hall is owned and managed by the Sri Lanka Air Force, or they have an appreciable stake, in it This Hall is commonly used as a Wedding Reception Hall, The layout, decor and the ambience of the place projects cleanliness and efficiency. The efficiency of the place becomes observable as soon as you enter the gates as the staff manning the gates, car park and entrance foyer impress us with their polite and friendly but military demeanor. Nice place.

Was attending a three day function here and can recommend it for anyone looking to host a massive event. The hall is extremely spacious and the food was good. The staff are extremely helpful and maintained their service well. Washrooms were clean as well.

Hall capacity is around 1200 and they are capable of providing outdoor location as per the request and applicability including all banquet hall related services anticipated by the customers. One of the best banquet and convention hall in that area which is maintained by SL Air Force. Outside of the hall is so beautiful with the aeroplane.Hall is superb and maintaining it in a proper way. Attended a wedding ceremony in the evening / night and it was of a daughter of my good old muslim friend (classmate). The reception hall was in extremely good shape and condition. Looks like the hall could accomodate more than 1000 guests easily. The hall was Without any pillars in the middle and could not remember such a hall in the near vicinity. Vehicle parking was so easy with auple space, Hotel staff was professional and curtious.

I have visited this banquet hall twice, once was to get pricing of the hall and the other was for a wedding function. The staff here are highly professional from the entrance of the hall your greeted with the security people and it has huge car parking. Then you goto into the hall and your given hand sanitizers and your greeted by the hall staff. *Pricing are pretty expensive just for 1 person with only welcome drinks without food cost around Rs 1750. *Pricing may differ according the economic situation. *Your only allowed to book food with the range of 12 to 13 cooks available. So your totally looking at around 6-8k per person if your planning to keep your wedding in this hall. * The hall is huge it can easily accomadate over 1000 people at a time. * Further the groom and brides sitting area can be changed according to your wish * Only certain lighting effect can be changed in the hall. * Partitioning of the hall for males and females separately is also provided by the hall. *The hall also has a outdoor space with beautiful lake view. Overall if you can afford this hall you can get a grand wedding with all the bells and whistles.

The staff and the food are fantastic. I suggest it's the best place in Colombo for your corporate events.

Huge banquet hall that houses around 250 seats at a time. Nice ambience along with the air force decorations. But the premises look a just a tiny bit old now, with curtains, chairs, window panes appearing old.

I recently attended an event at Eagle Lakeside Wedding Hall, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. While the food quality was good, I was let down by several other aspects of the venue. Firstly, the cleanliness of the hall was average at best. The overall condition of the venue was the worst I have seen in a while. The chairs were particularly disappointing, as they were not clean and seemed neglected. Moreover, I found the variety of food offered to be only average. Although the quality was decent, the lack of diverse options left much to be desired. Considering these factors, I regret to say that my experience at Eagle Lakeside Wedding Hall was far from satisfactory. I hope the management takes note of these issues and takes the necessary steps to improve the cleanliness and overall condition of the venue, as well as expand their food variety. While the food quality was a positive aspect, the average cleanliness, worst condition, and lack of cleanliness of the chairs make it difficult for me to recommend this place for future events.

Good service. Can hold about 1500 people for an event. The hall has a out door area facing the lake as well. Food is good however the cutlery and other items look a bit old but very clean.

Had my brothers Waleema function here. I must say the staff is very proactive and the Manager is helpful. Good co-ordination and super clean. The hall was arranged exactly as per our requirements. I highly recommend this place. And water fountain did not work that day, as we were told that there will be a light show. Also after 11.30. there was sudden power cuts for few seconds.
