A monastery that is indeed a blessing for the Colombo citizens! Provides many opportunities for the youth to collect merits, volunteer, learn the true Buddhist teachings in English and at the same time develop themselves in good qualities through the association of Venerable Monks. Met some wonderful noble friends through this monastery and learnt many great advises through the Buddhist teachings the Venerable Monks provide.

This is the best place to learn the Dhamma. Its a place where you can learn good qualities, do meditation, ask questions and clarify doubts, share your merits with others and many more.

A great place for us to learn the Buddha's teachings, meditate and develop in qualities. This would benefit all children as they can be noble and wholesome by learning the Dhamma in English right in the middle of Colombo. Sadhu Sadhu !

Great effort taken by the Monks of Mahamevna Asapuwa to spread the sublime Dhamma to the English speaking society of Colombo especially to the young ones and the youth. Many activities are carried out each month to educate the children of the Buddhist culture .. The Relics of the Lord Buddha and great Arhants are also venerated and exhibited periodically to the public.

This is an amazing place where people get the chance to listen to dhamma sermons and learn true Buddhist teachings in English. It is a place you can trust and it can change your life for the better.

This is a wonderful monastery, where you could learn the pure Buddha’s teachings, which leads to happiness in our lives. Even if you are abroad, you can learn the great teachings of buddha, meditation and other programmes online. The monks are very kind and compassionate. I’ve been to CDF during my stay in Sri Lanka a few months ago and I felt truly blessed.

This is an amazing place to anyone who wants to get into Buddhism but has not had the chance to do so due to a language barrier. English speaking monks here are very compassionate and are always willing to help us to enrich our knowledge on the Dhamma as well as our day to day lives. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
