I would have never, ever, under any circumstances, guessed that my favourite cafe and bakery would be in the small and extremely chill city of Colonia. Nonetheless, this small family-owned and run cafe and bakery simply defies every expectation and nothing in Colonia, Montevideo, or the humongous Buenos Aires even comes close. I love the food, beverages, and vibes. My wife and I are excited every time we're planning on travelling to Colonia, and not-such-a-small chunk of the excitement is because of the idea that we'll get to have some coffee, bread, pastries, and regional goodies from Albertine.

Also the sweets are delicious like the brownie, pain au chocolate or the cookies. We loved it here and enjoyed every single bite! The staff is super friendly and speaks great English, you feel very welcomed. It’s great and a recommendation for everyone visiting Colonia del Sacramento!!
