Most ppl that know this place they just say let's go to Ted's.... That means something. This place has been serving the best fish fry to our 518 community for some time & will be here for some time more. Quick, fast and fresh food served w a smile, just the way it was intended.

Simple menu. Great food. Fast, friendly service. They have a great following. Counter person is friendly and knowledgeable. A must visit.

I've never seen fish fry of this magnificent girth and length... The fish was so soft and fresh, just mouthfuls of perfectly fried fish with zero worry of getting a bone. And their clam chowder was so creamy and decadent, one of the best I've ever had. If you're looking for a good time, Ted is your guy!

Been going to Ted’s Fish Fry for over 30 years since original location and I am never disappointed! I always get the fish with tartar sauce because guess what?! It’s a “fish fry” joint and that’s what they are known for and how they were able to expand over the years! A simple tasty fish fry that has tasted the same since my first bite over 30 years ago! Always a go to when I am in the area!

This is a very good restaurant. There are two very friendly people at the counter, one to take orders and prepare drinks and the other to operate the register and pull up the correct orders from the cooks. All very efficient. We ordered the fried fish with tartar sauce and onion rings as our option over regular fries. Very tasty. Nice location close to the Albany Airport for a quick meal before a flight!

Had the Fish & Chips. Fish was delicious. very good sized pieces and plenty. I'd probably could have shared one dish with husband and been well satisfied. Not very happy with the French fries though. Tasted kinda bland, kinda old, not to mention the fish would have been better with potato wedges. Oh and am still wondering why they give you a hot dog bun for. 🤔

Ted's is still the best fish fry experience! Tasty fresh fillet. Very friendly quick service. Comfortable seating. highly recommended!

The lady behind the counter was awesome , everything was great! 5 star visit. Please put one up in Lake George! That way I can enjoy it in both places.

The food was great!! Every bite of seafood was well seasoned- not just well salted, but seasoned. I can't even say it was the batter, as the flavor was deeper. The fish fry combo was the beat value, as it was shareable between two people. We also ate outside and it was a nice quiet meal.

Sweet potato fries were medium-thick and tasty. My fish was battered and cooked perfectly. It comes with a bun so you can also eat it like a hot dog. They don’t have mac or potato salad. Yum.

Super casual and huge portions! Clearly freshly made with quality ingredient and a lightly battered. Some of the best fish and onion rings I’ve ever had.

Great place to get a great tasting fish fry. Fish fry's are always served golden and hot from the fryer. The dining room is clean and inviting. The staff are fast and efficient. Once every month or two, love me some Ted's!

They have a unique fish fry that I haven't been able to find anywhere else that tastes as good! I've been going here for 20+ years for the fish fry and onion rings. The burgers or chicken sandwiches leave much to be desired though, stick to the seafood options.

This trip was disappointing. I usually love this place. This trip I got the lunch special as usual. The fish was bland and there was an issue with the slaw. While I was disappointed I have had enough good experiences ( at least 3 times a month for the past 3 years) to not write this place off. I will be back again next week and will keep you posted.

Good fried food platter, for $20 I expected a couple more shrimp, portion seemed small, clams were a little more stringy than they should have been. Flavor was on point. I can imagine prices for everything have gone up, so perhaps the portion got cut to keep it at $20, 🤷. Worth the trip to judge for yourself, that's for sure. I saw some orders go out that I think were fish sandwiches, they looked huge. I probably should have gone with that. Love my shrimp, clams and scallops though, so I went with the platter.

Absolutely incredible! Food is always great, the chefs have a lot of pride in the work they do. I got a clam roll and the chef personally came out to give me a refund because he wasn't happy with how it turned out appearance wise. Was a very sweet and considerate gesture, food was still incredible!

Tried the favorites! Mini hotdogs, fish fry, & homemade onion rings were good! When I was eating I noticed people were ordering food "well done"...and I'd say you should to make it more crispy! Nice inviting staff

Stopped by here because it was close to my hotel. Order cod and fried oysters. They were really good especially the oysters. Before I left the area I stopped by again. The food was not the same. The food upset my stomach. I also ordered a grill chicken sandwich this time. By far the worse grill chicken sandwich I ever had.
