A great little speakeasy styled bar serving lots of whiskeys, classic cocktails and more. They also allow you to purchase food via a food truck. Here is why you should come drink here. Here you will get a true craft cocktail experience. From a classic sprit foward Negroni to the well balanced "Pilotaje" they have that show cases Tequilla with creme de violette, you wont be disappointed. As any other speakez should, they prep fresh ingredients in the morning to serve the best cocktails around. You can even ask for any other classic cocktails as long as they have what it calls for. The manager is definitely passionate and knowledgeable about craft cocktails. He executes techniques well and serves in a timely manner. The customer service was outstanding. Will be visiting again!

Classy, clean and hip. Drew was our bartender and presented drinks almost too gorgeous to drink. Huge selection of whiskey, cocktails were strong, smooth and balanced. I’m wowed. Best slap and tickle in town.

Somewhere to go for a real craft cocktail, saving a trip to the downtown secret bars. Food truck also has quality food. Even when busy, still retains a moderately chill vibe. After working side gigs on my day off, I was craving a real old fashioned, but didn’t want to drive all the way downtown for Axe and Oak or Brooklyn’s. Also do not need a reservation like at Allusion. After a google search, I found Neat Whiskey House. Clean, contemporary, professional, and speakeasy-ish. Good customer service. The Boss, Vieux Carré, Home Sweet Home are good whiskey drinks. The Baba Yaga, gin based, also looks good. I often see some people sipping neat. Drink recipes range from sweet to spirit forward. The menu includes a variety of styles such as: Classic, Colorado, New, World, etc. The food truck is reasonably priced and quality. I tried the skirted pork and lime burrito. Not greasy, the cheese skirt was just perfectly grilled on. Inside, well cooked sautéed veggies contrast against the meat and rice. Not overly salty, nor was it flavorless. Bottom line is, Neat Whiskey House and FH Beerworks, are yet another rising staple of local Colorado businesses (Ivywild and Breus for example), that are taking over the market with quality and vision for the future of our local culture.

The place is great, the drinks were great, the service was not great. There for an hour, sitting at the bar and couldn't get anyone's attention. Looked directly at the bartender and tried to get his attention with eye contact and they both turned away. Couldn't get any assistance. When we finally did, the drinks were good and the wine pour was heavy. But goodness no one was getting service except for the one person the bartender decided to converse with. Could be better, could be worse. Quite spendy

I wouldn't call it a "speakeasy". It lacks ambiance. It's small, not much decor. It's not a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. The music playing was loud and not very pleasant to listen to. The bartender had a "what do you want" kind of attitude. For the price point, and it is $$, not worth it.

This place is awesome. My wife and I recently moved to Colorado from North Carolina and we stumbled across this wonderful whiskey house called "Neat" and we tried it out and fell in love with the Drinks, Atmosphere, Food and the overall friendliness of everyone. We come here every Wednesday to enjoy great music, drinks and food. If you have not tried this place you are missing out. You must give this place a try All of their Drinks are very well made. You will not be disappointed.

We've enjoyed Neat many a time, but the last visit was a total miss. Had to ask to order drinks, had to ask to order food, had to ask for our checks (with another 5 minute wait to actually order after we finally asked). While not empty, it was not packed either, with a few tables open. With such poor service, we also didn't appreciate that the default tipping on the machine STARTS at 30% and goes up from there. I didn't recognize anyone from previous visits, so perhaps they are all new, but definitely makes me hesitant to visit again.

Wow what a great night! Where to begin… Atmosphere is giving is giving The Great Gatsby minus all unlikable characters (all characters). It’s mysterious and sexy, just like my old fashioned. I’ve felt absolutely swept away, and the attentiveness of the staff is the cherry on top. Beautiful venue, old sport. Highly recommend 👏🏼

Picture this: starved of fun and atmosphere, you embark on a search for culture within the Colorado Springs bubble of chain restaurants and endless copies of all the bars and restaurants you’ve seen before. Stumbling down Powers Blvd., sad and bereft, you see it… FH Beerworks and Neat Whiskey House. Dare you? Yes, you must… You enter Neat Whiskey House and are greeted by the most knowledgeable and interesting staff you could have imagined, with all the good parts of “Cocktails,” minus the lack of plot. The menu soothes the childhood trauma you didn’t know you had. The atmosphere transforms you instantly into a more interesting person… the type of person who doesn’t have to think about the type of person they are… and you are transported by inspiration, exuberance, and all the joy of a 5-year old who hasn’t heard of death. In short, Neat is far more than neat.

What a great place. Excellent cocktails and delicious beer options. Very comfortable place. We will definitely come back.
