Pictures are not an accurate representation of the hotel. Indoor pool was out of order for "inspection" though the outside pool was open. The thing is both of these pools are connected so kind of dumb. As for the room they tried to offer us a smaller room at the same price because the one we reserved was overbooked. So before we even arrived the trouble had already started. The furniture inside the room is beat to death and kind of just thrown in there. Both of our beds had cigarette burns in the comforters that they refused to fix. The bathroom light had a spooky flicker effect that they refused to fix. The TV didn't work and you guessed it the didn't fix that either. You have to get a new room key everyday for some reason. Honestly I could go on and on but the short of it is I will never visit this place ever again and neither should anyone.

Do not stay here! Read the other reviews and stay somewhere you'll feel safe. The common areas of the hotel were dirty and not well kept. The room had stains on the carpet and walls, the bathroom door was busted as if someone forced their way into it, the smoke detector had plastic taped over it rendering it useless. The door opened while we were in it and it was a maintenance person who didn't apologize or knock or anything, just went about fixing something on the door to the room. There were no towels in the room so we had to go down and ask for them. There were a bunch of signs saying there was no breakfast. It was a really gross hotel and we really didn't feel safe. With the academy graduation going on we couldn't find another hotel with an opening or we would have left.

This place is DISGUSTING!!! I booked this room specifically for the pool area for my daughter! The slide was brown and green, the outdoor hot tub was so gross you couldn’t even see the bottom of it. The rooms are supposed to be non smoking and the room smelled like cigarette smoke so bad it was almost unbearable and there was a burn mark on the bath tub. As you walk to the elevator, there are bags of trash just sitting in the hallway. The hallways and common areas are about 85 degrees which is uncomfortably hot. The guy working the front desk acted like he doesn’t care about any of it. He only offered to give us air freshener and definitely didn’t care about his pool area. Also in the rooms, are stains and marks all over the walls and furniture. And the website shows breakfast, however, you walk in and there are signs posted for no breakfast and there are no snacks or drinks! Save yourself the headache and hook somewhere else!!

This hotel is straight up trash! Holes in the wall, elevator does not work, restrooms were “out of service”, holes in the mattress, holes in the walls, the toilet did not flush, lights in the lobby were flickering and there was hair in the sheets! This place is anything but sanitary! I do not even know how this hotel is in business. I cancelled my reservation because I was not going to stay there let alone let my kids stay in that filth! This place should be disgusted! The place had an odor of smoke and death. There was no pool or morning breakfast as advertised on the website! The front desk woman had no paper work for me to sign due to there was no working printer. I called to speak to the property manager named Sarah who was nothing but rude and when I was explaining to her my concerns and why she would continue to charge me she hung up. How professional is that for a property manager to do? I called again and again and this property manager kept hanging up the phone. Please be aware that this hotel is literally garbage before booking this place. It is disgusting and the property manager is lined up with it. This hotel needs to be shut down!!!

We checked in at normal time. Their printer was down so I wasn't able to get a receipt. My card was ran and the balance from the reservation was deducted from my card. 12am midnight there is a knock at the door and it was the front desk lady now on duty. She wanted to come in. She asked us where the smoke detector was and we were wondering the same thing when we first got into the room. Then she proceeded to accuse us of removing the screws from the window. Claiming we removed the little screw locking window stopper which I guess only allowed the window to open a few inches. Once again something that we didn't do . Lastly and the main reason of sharing this was she claimed we didn't pay originally when we arrived and demanded we evacuate the room and we only had 10 mintues.. my girlfriend who has a handicap and isn't able to walk easily would take 10 minutes to make it to the car physically. The woman wouldn't listen or reason and began to scream "get the f#$% out". We left without a refund and still haven't received the refund! Worst hotel experience ever!

My husband and I travel for work, we have stayed in hotels all over the country for 6 months now. We are only home a few days every month, so we have a lot of hotel experience. This is the worst I have ever experienced. The only positive, and I mean the ONLY positive, was a front desk lady that particularly kind and as accommodating as she could be. Starting with the front, check in was a hassle, and the women who were there were swearing and saying how they were going to resign. (I guess a guest before us was a pain??) The lobby was gross and their "snack bar" was about 20 monster energy drinks. No water, no snacks. There were people who were walking around asking for money, looking in cars, going through the couch cushions looking for change, one man even asked my husband for a wire coat hanger to break into "his" car. There was a puddle of pee in the elevator and several dogs in the lobby. Dogs in the hall with no leashes, etc. There was trash in the hall and carpet needed to be vacuumed and the rooms were unacceptable. We had SEVERAL people walk into our room, WITH WORKING KEYS TO OUR ROOM, several times. We had to make sure everything was double locked. Please keep in mind this was NOT hotel staff. This was strangers, other people staying in the hotel. There was big paint holes in the walls, exposed dry wall, hairs and gunk in the shower, supper smelly fridge, stains all over the linens, we were not given towels because they were "out", there were exposed wires where a smoke alarm used to be, the wifi didn't work, the TV had its cords stolen (so obviously didn't work), the lamp shade in the bedroom had holes in it, the window frame was broken, and dirty, the pool was closed, the breakfast was unavailable, the whole place smelt like smoke and Marijuana, etc. I could go on, but it's not worth my time. I tried to get a refund with the hotel, and the company I booked through. Neither were any help. This hotel needs to be shut down. Completely unacceptable, Health department should get involved.

I’m not extremely high maintenance but in the 20 minutes we were there I felt like I needed a shower just from walking into the room. 1. Stains on bed 2. No smoke detector (illegal much?) 3. Signs saying no breakfast or pool when advertised online and based on the reviews it’s been no breakfast or pool for several months 4. Marks all over walls and carpet torn up. 5. Finishing around door frame gone 6. Cigarettes in elevator 7. Trash in hall 8. They might claim non smoking but stinks of smoke. 9. A/C had dust in the vent area 10. I could wipe my finger across the glass table in the room and leave a mark. Overall incredibly dirty and just trashy. It took longer for us to check than to come to the decision we were not staying there no matter what the cost. The front desk man was nice and gave us a full refund (at least I hope he did apparently I have to wait 3-5 business days to see that being reflected). The hotel was the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stepped foot in. You couldn’t pay me to stay one night in this place.

I don't ever write reviews but this was so bad I had to. This place is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at paint peeling, dirty sticky tables, stained everything, holes in the carpet and moldy walls. Yes mold on the walls and ceiling. If you are looking for a clean and pleasant hotel this is not it DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! This place should be shutdown. The lobby smelt like cigarettes and weed.

I don't even know where I should start with this one, so I'll try from the beginning. There were a few people hanging around out front when we arrived at this district-like group of hotels. Heading inside we see the front desk has several printed notices taped and propped on it stating "no smoking" (understandable), "pool closed/under maintenance", "no cash payments for rooms", and several others that made me feel unwelcome. They gave us the room with the explanation that some of the furniture was dated, but the room was clean. The furniture wasn't just dated it was damaged, stained, and dirty. Refer to the attached pictures for most of the things we found including rotting around the shower head, a broken faceplate for a light switch leading to exposed wires, and blood on the bed liner. I'm only listing here the most critical problems. There are many more that we did not take pictures of or did not list. Some pictures are also of the elevator leading up to the room. After leaving for another hotel we found out that the people hanging around these hotels were groups of locals. We know this because they began a screaming match next to my car as we were contacting expedia for the refund. I've never felt more unsafe at a hotel in my life.

I’m writing this review so no one makes the same mistake we did. From start to end it was all around bad. We arrived at the hotel and one of the doors was out of order so there was someone on a ladder fixing it (great, nothing wrong with that) and an employee blocking the other door having a personal conversations. We walked up to the door, she didn’t move so I asked “is this the entrance?” She said yes and still didn’t move so I reached around her to open the door and she finally moved. The lobby was dingy and not clean. We finally get our key and when we get to our floor the hall smelled like cigarettes and pee. Our was not much better, first thing we noticed was the smoke alarm is removed from the ceiling. Then we begin to notice how filthy the room is. There is stains on both lamp shades and what I can only assume is bodily fluids splattered all over the head board and walls. At that point we had decided we were not staying there. We didn’t feel safe, due to the type of people that were lingering around the lobby, halls and, parking, and the state of the room. I was able to get us a room at another hotel so we grab our bags and went back down stairs. Its worth mentioning that every single person that was checking in while we were was back in the lobby. I told the receptionist I wanted a refund and we would be leaving and told her why. She didn’t question it and processed our refund right away(that was the only good thing about this experience) Please what ever you do don’t waste your i time with this one. They need some serious help. Other things that weren’t so much a bother to us but might be to other people, there was no breakfast which was advertised and the pool was closed.

This is always my go to Wyndham owned spot to stay at in Colorado springs! Wyndham has the same standards you can always expect quality when it comes to staying at a Wyndham. The heated indoor pool with the waterslide is a nice addition to this little place making it ideal for families w/kids. My only complaint is that the hot tub wasn't on and I can't lie and say I booked this hotel on this night based on the fact I really wanted some hot tub time. Oh well maybe next time I will get my hot tub time in

First off, there was nothing mentioned about a 250 deposit required, and they weee just going to dismiss my reservation with out a refund then I gave them My card info and have still not got my deposit back, the coffee machine had an old coffee container in it and it didn’t work when trying to use it, I had to call and get a new one. The experience was nothing I expected, I thought I was going to a higher end place. The only high end experience I had was the amount of money they took as a deposit. I will definitely post an update on when i get it back. I’m hoping it don’t turn out to be a legal issue.

Really cool place. When the new management gets up to speed its going to be great i think. The pool has a slide, the lobby is very cool and the front desk person was polite and friendly going out of her way to accommodate. And the view of the mountains from the room was amazing but was difficult getting to having to go through a different hotels parking lot to get there..i will be staying there again for sure

Promised Hot breakfast and a indoor out door pool but they did not have any breakfast. They offered a aid laundry room but had no quarters to buy to use the washer. The beds in the double queen sit close to the AC and block it from circulating through out the room. They are renovating and the renovations look real good but the daily upkeep like sweeping the elevator cleaning the parking lots or vacuuming the hallways are poorly done.

I am surprised by the reviews. My family had a great stay. The ladies at the front desk were pleasant, respectful, and accommodating. The rooms were clean and everything worked. Breakfast was simple, but well stocked. The Baymont is not a fancy hotel, but it was a comfortable room for the night.

Okay- some of these reviews make this hotel seem like it’s falling down. It’s not that bad. It’s…… fine. The location is also fine. There are 5 or 6 other hotels in the area, a First Watch and a Whole Foods around the corner. The hotel, overall, is in desperate need of deep cleaning. Our room had clean linens, freshly made beds and a clean bathroom. However, there were obvious spills on the carpet and furniture that have never been cleaned up and several outlets were missing their faceplates. The indoor pool area was clean, the pool was heated, and the water slide was super fun for our kids. While the staff wasn’t very friendly, they did their jobs. We never felt unsafe or uncomfortable.

The water slide is so much fun. The area isn't awesome. The property is quite dirty and the cops came at least 3 times while we were there. On my way in to check in some lady threatened me and then left. The hotel itself was pretty clean. Our room was a decent size . there is a couch in the room we stayed in but there isn't anything in front of it but wall which i thought was odd. The bathroom was kind of small but it was also clean and operated the way should. Overall the hotel is fine but the area sucks and there parking lot is dirty.

This hotel has become an amazing place to stay. The management is working so hard to get it back to the way it used to be before the previous management ruined it. The front desk staff are simply amazing and phenomenal especially Nancy. I am so happy to see this hotel brought back to its former glory!!!

I needed a last-minute room at an affordable price. Baymont was perfect and the front-desk staff were So Friendly and Helpful -- especially in patiently answering tons of questions for me. And the room and breakfast were just perfect! When needing an affordable, inviting place to stay, in a great part of town, I highly recommend Baymont!

Service was very polite, friendly and helpful. Sadly a "chlorine" issue had the pool closed, and that was the one reason I booked here. I even bought a suit...but no dice. Really bummed about that and the way the curtains leave a glaring light gap that made sleep pretty rough. I DID enjoy the in room coffee and breakfast had plenty of options.

We travel all over and stay in hotels and motels for work. The staff here sets this place apart from so many others. The manager, Nancy is phenomenal! She really cares and treats all the guests and her employees like family. It shows. All the staff including the maids seem to really love their job. Call me old fashioned, but it’s rare these days to experience this kind of customer service. My sales team and I have had a wonderful stay here occupying several rooms for more than a week. We’ll definitely be back next year. Thanks Nancy and staff, all y’all rock!

I went to check in the place looks really ran down. Trash overflowing behind the desk. Overall appearance trash and debris on the floor. Couldn't tell employees from street people. I cancelled my reservation and went and got a room at the Hampton Inn. Website is misleading or may have been posted when the place was new. This location needs a refresh and staffing refresh along with parking area and fencing. Wyndham is not normally affiliated with such a place. It has left a sour taste in my mouth. I don't ever know if I will ever stay at another property Under the parent company. Robert H. Holden II

Gal at the front was helpful, but would've otherwise rated it no stars. Planned on staying there with my two kids, but ended up leaving right after we checked in at 9pm. The first room we were given smelled strong of urine. We asked for another, but the second was dirty and only had one bed for the three of us. Sketchy is a good word for this place. My kids didn't feel safe with the people walking around the hotel and hanging in the parking lot. I hope we get our reservation refunded but I'm not holding breath. We're glad we stayed elsewhere.

We is stated this hotel every year from about the last seven years. It has been a year since we were at this property And we were very surprise at the condition. They're not maintaining the lawn behind or anything around the pool. There's trash, there's weeds like 3 foot tall weeds. Elevators look like they haven't been maintained or cleaned up or taken Care of it all. Along with the rest of the building, the door going to the pool, all that needs to be cleaned up. They have a hot tub outside and an indoor outdoor pool. The outside part of the pool was closed and the hot tub was they were completely covered so I don't know if they've used them at all for a while. But we used to sit out there on new year's eve in the snow And watch the fireworks from pikes peak. The rooms are worn and not taken care of. Just sad because we always enjoyed staying there. You're trying to get the impression to you. That staff doesn't want to be there because they weren't overly friendly.

One star for the Staff, One star for an adequate hot breakfast. To say this facility was disappointing would be an understatement. The building was run down, dirty, viscerally unpleasant. The only positive was the staff. They were pleasant enough and I give them credit for being as amicable as they were knowing they probably have to deal with a slew of complaints daily. I will have to say that the hot breakfast was decent though. The pool outside was dirty and not open for obvious reasons. The inside pool looked brown. The carpet in the room was sticky. The hair dryer was broken. The wifi signal from the Econo Lodge next door was stronger than the non-existent baymont network that did not reach room 301 so doing any type of work was impossible.

I do want to start out by saying the staff at front desk was lovely, very nice and helpful. But other than that, the room was horrid. I’ve stayed at some questionable places but never with one with as many “mysterious” white stains, blood stains on the floor, and dead bugs. I don’t even want to think about if they actually washed the bed sheets or not. We ended up just leaving because we were so grossed out.

At first, we were given a room, that was missing the fridge. The mgr, told her desk help, that room should never have been rented. She moved us to room 118. Clean wise, it was horrible. The large mirror hasn't been cleaned. The microwave, was horrible. It wasn't cleaned, and had a hair on the inside wall. The door was almost impossible to open. The bathroom door literally, got jammed trying to close it. Opening it, you had to yank it open. Both "striped chairs were filthy. There was hair stuck to the inside of the bathroom door. The shower floor had not been rinsed. We booked 3 nights. We spent one night, got a refund and went to, Baymont Garden of The God's. 100% cleaner. We've never been such a very poorly maintained hotel.

New management is amazing! Staff and maintenance are kind and friendly; we had a minor issue with our room which was quickly and efficiently solved. The room are comfortable and clean; the pool slide was awesome! My wife and I will definitely be staying, again.

It was clean upon arrival, but not well stocked; however, I didn't care because I had what I needed and they gave me fresh towels when I asked. I stayed 3 days upon arrival HOME in Colorado for an art show intended to Glorify God and promote Scriptural reading, study, and reflection for Art Aloud a Academy Art & Frame on Academy Blvd where my work is currently on display. I wanted to rest, recharge, purify, repent, and atone for my past transgressions. I did that here. The water slide was excellent; like Baptism on Easter Sunday... literally! There was a small leak in the sink but I used towels to absorb the water and reported it to staff at the end to avoid room change and disruption. The clock was set an hour early, so I had a late check out, but they were polite, accommodating, and understanding. I'd return and I pray they are able to make improvements with a proper restoration project! God bless and Happy Resurrection! ✝️🔯🙏😇🙌💕🗻

Hands down the worst hotel Ive ever booked. We didn't actually stay the night because of how bad it was. The outside, lobby, elevator, and hallway were all filthy and the room had visible damage. Everything just felt dirty and uncomfortable. The staff didn't care and neither did anyone else that was just hanging around... It's in a great location and in a decent part of town so I'm supposed they let it get so run down. It's not worth saving the money, stay somewhere else.

Terrible!! Took 30 minutes just to check - in. Our first room had exposed MOLD above the shower and water bubbling behind the dry wall as well. There was white paint all over the stained carpet and our bathroom was definitely not cleaned either. Very disappointed. Room smelt like cigarettes (non-smoking room). We went and got another room. While this room was better, it wasn’t by much! Stinky, stained carpets seem to be the trend! Don’t stay here!!
